Chapter 1
New OOO’s
Hello everyone my name Alexander Young, I’m a young man at eighteen years old and I live in the city of Phoenix. I stand at about 5’7, olive colored skin, short brown hair and emerald green eyes, I was born in Los-Angeles but I moved here to Phoenix after…that day. You see I moved here to get away from the terrible memories I hold in my heart that being of my mother and Father, my mother was British who came to America to become a doctor and she was a dang good one too because she had the most successful surgeries in the area. It was because of this reputation that she met my dad. My Mom, Freya, meet my dad when he was taken to a local hospital after a shootout between two rival gangs, my dad is a Police Officer but unlike other officers he spent more time saving lives then taking them. My dad, Charlie, was infamous for being known as the one officer that never fired a single shot for he never drew his gun on any one. During many tasks and operations he spent most of his time evacuating citizens then fighting not to say he doesn’t know how to do hand to hand combat, thus giving him the lowest casualty counts in the history of law enforcement. Anyway during the shootout my dad was injured in the line of duty so they took him to a local hospital to get him fixed that was the very same hospital my mom worked. After fixing him up my mom fell in love with my dad due to his kind nature and his need to help others in need without bloodshed. Then after a year the two of them got married and soon enough I was born, they were the best parents I could ask for since they taught me everything I need to know about right and wrong, helping others and how to fight against those who would do them harm. Life for me was good during that time but when I turned fifteen everything changed.
It was one summer evening, I was spending time with my grandparents so that my parents can enjoy there anniversary together. Of course that was when it happened, I was watching the morning news and that was when I saw it, a news bulletin about a terrorist attack in London that bombed a hotel in the area…my parent’s hotel. I didn’t want believe it; I refused to believe that my parents were gone but the writing was on the wall, they were gone…and were never coming back. A few days after that they held a funeral for them and of course it was raining that day, how appropriate, during that time I received two things from my parents that day, the first thing was from my father which was his police badge and from my mother was her heart locket that I got her for her birthday long ago and inside it was a picture of ten year old me and my dad. Having these made my heart grow heavy with sadness and hurt causing my fall into depression thus for almost a month I didn’t talk to anyone or leave my room expect for work or to get food. I thought for so long that this was my life, a life full of nothing but sorrow and hurt, never finding happiness again but that all changed one faithful day.
Like most days I was in my room just laying on my bed and staring at the object that once belonged to my father and mother, but as I got off the bed to go get something to eat I noticed something in front of my door, a present that my grandma got me a while ago. Not wanting to me disrespectful I decided to open the package and once I did I was greeted to a small DVD case and on the front of it was an armored man and what looked like colorful medals flying around him. The title was Kamen Rider OOO’s and by the looks of it, it looked to be a Japanese show, I liked to watch these back when I was little but stopped when my parents died. Curious about the gift my grandparents got me I decided to give it a watch. So after getting a snack and a drink I put in the disk and started up the first episode of Kamen Rider OOO’s, at first I showed little interest at first of the show, finding it a little strange but cool though I had to admit the main character Eiji did have my interest with his want to help people. But as I continued to watch the show I began to like it quite a bit but when I found out about Eiji’s past I couldn’t help but find some common ground with him after all like him he lost someone important to him too but instead of wallowing in despair and hate he instead turned the pain into his drive to help others around him. Seeing this made me realize something causing me to look at the medal my dad wore proudly and the locket my mom had, like Eiji they too had painful experiences too but that didn’t stop them from helping the innocent something I forgot that day when they died.
So on that day I decided to promise my mom and dad something on that day that I will uphold their ideals by helping anyone who needs it no matter the challenge that is before me. Thus I started leaving the house more, doing things like voluntary work for people in need, taking up medical practices so I can help those who are hurt or sick and also I improved my hand to hand as well as other means of combat so that I can protect those who are weaker. Before long, slowly but surely my sadness was disappearing until it was replaced with a desire to help those like my parents and soon my world starting getting brighter even having me smile after so long. Of course I had hobbies too as such I continued to watch Kamen Rider OOO’s even getting my own O-Driver as to show my love for the show, heck I even played with it before I went to bed. When I turned twenty I moved out of my grandparents’ house and moved into my parents old house so I strike out on my own in this world and continue to help those in need. I even started taking online college classes for my medical degree, I wanted to become a doctor like my mom so I can follow in her footsteps and so far life has been pretty good for me for a while and I was happy with that…but a small part of me wanted…more.
I wanted to help more people then here in town, I wanted to travel the world like Eiji did and help others across the world but that was a dream that was going to have to wait…or so I thought.

It happened on this very night, I don’t how or why but one night I feel asleep in my bed, taking a load off after a long day of helping at the local children’s hospital. Although as I woke up the next morning I found myself not in my warm bed but instead in a grassy meadow! Seeing the strange surroundings I quickly sat up from my back and on to my feet to get a better idea of where I am and of course the first thing I see is the massive amount clouds in fact as far as I can see there was nothing but clouds, it was like endless sea of clouds as far as the eye can see. Next thing I noticed was that the land I was standing on was not just some patch of dirt or an island for that matter it was a whole creature, it was giant as big as a continent on Earth I then realized that I really wasn’t on Earth…not at all! Of course I wasn’t going to figure things out by sitting around here so decided to explore this strange place I found myself in, to get a better understand of where I am and how I got here. As I trekked through the strange land I began to think I wouldn’t find any sense of civilization on this strange living land but as soon as I was about to lose hope I came across a small village. The place was called Fonsett Village a small community with a lot of friendly people, once they found me they took me in and feed me since I haven’t eaten or drank anything since this morning, also they helped me learn more about this new world I’m in. Apparently I was in a place called Alrest, where the people lived on the back of creatures called Titans which were the only land mast here in Alrest. But it wasn’t always like that, a long time ago the people of Alrest lived with their creator on top of the World Tree in a place called Elysium but they were cast out for what reason they don’t know but now they live here but living space was running out due to the titans dying out.
Hearing this I couldn’t help but feel amazed but at the same time sad, these people have it way rougher then people back in my world. Sure we lost land resources due to pollution and over mining but these people there losing whole continents! Anyway since I have no way of getting home as of this moment I went and made a life for me here in Alrest, it wasn’t easy trying to get used to things like currency, culture and of course much to my displeasure politics. But of course it wasn’t all bad since I made so many new friends in Alrest one of my best friends being a young boy named Rex, we meet not too long ago when I first arrived in Fonsett Village and while I admit when I first meet the kid he kind of was annoying at best since he has barely a filter on his mouth but despite this he was a good kid with a good heart. Before long I started to see him as a younger brother and it felt good, like a piece of me I never knew I had but now I never want to part with it. Of course being in a new world with no money expect your old one meant you needed to start working but luckily there is one job that really interested me.

Down at the bottom of the cloud sea, two individuals could be seen swimming down to a large metal crate. One of the individuals wearing a blue and gold heavy diver suit and along with him was another heavy diver suit wearer but unlike his companion he’s was a yellow suit with red and green accents. Both of the divers then aimed anchors at the sea floor and fired, once they were latched onto the sea floor they then reeled themselves in to the bottom where they stood face to face with their query. The two divers then placed a small device on the side of the crate and once that was done the device then burst open revealing a large balloon that started lifting the crate up through the cloud sea and once it was lifting the two divers followed after the crate. The crate then made it midway to a crane hook. The blue diver then swam up to a small platform on top of the crane and stood on top of it while the yellow diver then hooked the crate to the crane hook. Once it was hooked the other diver swam to the platform and stood alongside the blue diver, the yellow diver then gave a thumbs up telling him they were good to go getting a nod from the blue diver. The blue diver then pressed a button on the crane which caused it to go up further until the two of them broke the surface of Cloud Sea. Once they were topside they were greeted by a semi-large titan the resembled a dragon with a hut attached to its back, once the crane was over the titans back it then dropped the crate and the two divers took off their gear reveling both me and Rex, a young kid with short brown hair and golden colored eyes.
“We really need to get a new depth probe, we were off by a few pings” Rex said removing the last of his suit
“I kept saying we should but you kept putting it off” I said removing my helmet from my suit
“Heh, my bad I guess” Rex replied rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment
“Well anyway you think we made a good find?” I asked looking over at our salvage
Yeah so I and Rex were Salvagers, basically as the name suggests we salvage things we find in the Cloud Sea sell them to any merchants we choice for gold while the salvage we find is used for things like parts, recycling or historic relics.
“I hope so, in the very end I’ll think we’ll turn up a good profit even with the labor costs alone” Rex said grabbing a crowbar from a workbench
“Honestly it amazes me, it takes days for you to do a structural analysis but you know the profits in an instant” The large titan said looking over his shoulder
The big guy is Azura, a Titian that raised Rex before bring him to Fonsett Village; he was sort of like a father figure to Rex as he taught him things even some Driver arts even if the kid wasn’t a driver.
“Even so Azura that is still impressive in its own right” I added
Rex then wedged a crowbar into the crate and tried to pry it open but was having a little trouble.
“Need a hand?” I asked which Rex nodded to
So I grabbed the crowbar along with Rex and with one good tug from us both we were able to pry the large crate open but once we did we were then met with a King Crustip that looked extremely mad from being woken up.
“Woah, were you living in this thing?” Rex said, surprised by the sea creatures sudden appearance
“Forget that, how did you get in that thing in the first place?!” I shouted in confusion
Our questions were unanswered as the large creature swiped at us with its claws at us but we jumped back to dodge the attack.
“Rex, Alex!” Azura shouted concerned for the two of us
“Don’t worry gramps were fine, in fact I think I know what’s for lunch” Rex said
He then rushed into the hut and retrieved his large sword he built and held into a battle stance, while he stared down the large crustacean as for me well…you see when I arrived in Alrest turns out the clothes on my back were not the only thing that came with me.
“Hey Rex, whoever takes this thing down faster gets to cook it however they want?” I asked making Rex smirk
“You’re on!” he shouted already charging at the large sea creature
I then pulled a small blue and black colored device with three slots in the front and placed it on my midsection. Once I did the device then wrapped around my torso with a belt holding it in place, I then fished out of my pocket three golden rimmed medals all colored red, yellow, green each with an animal inscribed on them a hawk, tiger and grasshopper. Taking the three medals I then slotted each of them into the belt and once they were all secured I then tilted the buckle slightly and grabbed a scanner like device from the belt which started making a mechanical noise. I then slid the scanner over the buckle, scanning each of the medals letting off a chime for each one.

The medals were shown in front of me until they merged together into a sigil and collided with my chest causing armor to appear. The armor was primarily black with the helmet being red and looked like a hawk with it wings spread out with green colored lenses. The middle part was yellow with yellow gauntlets with sharp claws folded on my forearms and final my legs were green with armored greaves. If you haven’t already guessed yet I have become my favorite character…Kamen Rider OOO!
“Wait for me Rex!” I called out as I charged at the large lobster monster
The crustip tried to grab me with it claws but I quickly slid under the pincer and stood back up and punched the monster in the face making it stagger. The Crustip tried to lung and me but Rex then slashed at it with his sword making slam into the crate with a loud bang, with it dazed I then focused power into my Batta legs making a grasshopper sound and caused them to glow and once they were charged up I then jumped at the Crustip and hit it with a quick bicycle kick easily cracking it’s shell.
“Well, shall we?” I asked Rex
“Let’s end this, besides I’m starving!” Rex said
So that said I then extended out the Tora Claws as Rex and I charged at the large crustacean and one were right up in it’s face we then slashed at it, cutting off its claws in process, following it up with stab to the head easily killing the Crustip thus ending the fight.
Yes this was my life; my name is Alex Young, once resident of Earth now resident of Alrest, salvager along with my brother Rex and coolest of all…I am Kamen Rider OOO!
