It was around 10:30pm and Ranpo had just got off work about to head to his apartment until he realized he hasn't seen his lover even once today. He checked his phone and saw no calls, no texts, no nothing from Dazai. So instead of going to his apartment he starts heading to dazai's.
After awhile of walking (cause for some unknown reason dazai's apartment is so god damn far away) he finally made is to his apartment complex, ranpo then started to head to the 4th floor. Once he reached the the second floor he start to doubt himself but kept going. When he reached dazai's apartment a bad feeling came so ranpo doesn't even knock he just went in.
At this point he was almost running and when he reached Dazai's bedroom (which as normally always open) Ranpo finds that it is locked. Ranpo calls Dazai but its almost immediately declined which panics Ranpo even more cause Dazai usually calls Ranpo and they end up talking with each other for hours.
Ranpo then as calm as he could knocked on the door of his beloved boyfriend's bedroom door, but didn't hear a sound. So Ranpo pulls himself together and calls out " 'samu can you please open the door?..."
After a short moment that felt like forever to Ranpo he heard the most faint sound of crying, but soon ranpo would realize that sound was Dazai trying his best to make his sobbing sound quiet.
