Work Text:
Jinwoo and Ashborn may share similarities. Memories, experience shared. Power.
However, cooking is not one of them. Jinwoo may be a pretty good cook. But Ashborn does NOT share that particular skill. As Jinah learns.
“What, is THAT??” Jinah points at the slowly bubbling mess in a pan. Ashborn stares. A wooden spoon in hand. “...food?.” “You don’t even know?”
Jinah tries not to breathe in. “How does it even smell that bad. What did you do?”
Ashborn actually looks disappointed. “I attempted to put ingredients together to cook a dish. Bibimbap, I believe it was called.” Jinah stares at the brunt mess. “Oh my god, how did you mess it up that bad.”
Ashborn puts down the spoon. “I apologize for the mess.” Jinah winces at how deep it burned into the pan. That may not wash off. Whelp, down one pan. Rest in peace.
“Uh…lets just.” Jinah drags that off to the side. “Try that again with, maybe a recipe guide this time.” Ashborn hums.
“Here!” Jinah opens her phone, quickly searching for ‘simple easy recipes’ then adds, ‘with steps’ “This should help.”

A few hours later, Jinwoo opens the front door. “Jinah, I’m home.” Removing his jacket he smells something warm and savory.
“Hey oppa!” Jinah and Ashborn are both sat at the table. Warm cooked meal in front of them. Jinwoo raises a brow. “Did you cook for yourself for once?”
“Pfft, no.” Jinah gestures to Ashborn. “He did.” “He did?” Jinwoo looks to Ashborn surprised. “You learned to cook?”
Ashborn looks down at the still steaming meal. “Ah…yes, not without help. My first attempt was…unfortunate.” Jinah shakes her head. “Let's not dwell on the past. Try some oppa. It's not so bad.”
Jinwoo smiles. At least he’s immune to poisons.
“Sure. Try not to stuff yourself.” “Hey!”
