Work Text:

The bathroom door clicked open, releasing a thick, fragrant wave of warm steam into the cool, air-conditioned hotel suite. Sungjong stepped out onto the plush carpet, drying his damp hair with a small towel. The exhausting layers of heavy stage makeup and hairspray were completely gone, leaving his skin fresh, bare, and slightly flushed from the hot water. He slid his arms into the thick, oversized white hotel bathrobe, wrapping it tightly around his slender frame like a soft, cozy blanket.

Out in the main room, Sungyeol was already waiting for him. Having taken a quick shower earlier, he was relaxed on the large fabric sofa, wearing an identical white bathrobe that clung comfortably to his broad shoulders. In front of him on the low coffee table, the warm room service dishes were neatly laid out, sending a rich, savory aroma into the air.

As the bathroom door opened, Sungyeol looked up, his quiet, fond eyes instantly tracking the younger boy's movements. The loud energy he projected under the stadium lights—the chaotic jokes and playful antics—had completely evaporated the moment the cameras died. In it's place was a calm, steady presence.

"I'm so exhausted, I can barely stand," Sungjong murmured, dragging his steps toward the seating area. The sweet, energetic hum he usually saved for the microphones bled away, replaced by a soft, raspy whine that belonged only to the quiet hours of the night.

Instead of sitting on the opposite side, Sungjong moved straight toward Sungyeol, walking right into his space. Sungyeol didn't say a word; he simply shifted his weight on the sofa, widening the space beside him in a silent invitation. Sungjong collapsed onto the cushions, his head rolling back against the backrest as he let out a long, defeated sigh. Without being asked, Sungyeol reached out, his large, warm hands gently but firmly gripping Sungjong’s ankles to pull his legs up onto his lap, his long fingers immediately kneading the tight, aching muscles of Sungjong's calves.

A tiny shiver ran through Sungjong as the tension began to melt. Up close, he looked entirely delicate, his eyes heavy with exhaustion. He was completely yielding under Sungyeol’s touch, dropping all his usual defenses.

"You're late with the food," Sungjong muttered sleepily, though he pressed his leg deeper into Sungyeol's palms, chasing the warmth. He didn't try to pull away; instead, he leaned into Sungyeol's space, entirely content to let the older member take absolute control of the moment.

Sungyeol chuckled quietly, the vibration low in his chest. With one hand still holding Sungjong's ankle, he reached over to the table where the food was waiting. He deftly picked up a small, perfectly seasoned piece of meat with his chopsticks.

"Open up," he commanded softly, hovering the bite just inches from Sungjong's lips.

Sungjong didn't even bother to lean forward. He simply parted his lips with a lazy, satisfied hum, letting Sungyeol feed him entirely. He chewed slowly, basking in the undivided attention. A tiny bead of sauce caught on the curve of Sungjong's bottom lip. Before the younger could even notice, Sungyeol reached out with his bare thumb, gently wiping it away. Sungyeol's gaze lingered on Sungjong's face, dark and intense, holding an unexpressed weight that made the vast hotel suite feel incredibly small and private.

Once the dishes were pushed to the far side of the table, the lingering adrenaline from Rally V finally ebbed away completely, leaving a heavy, comforting exhaustion in its wake. Sungjong’s eyelids fluttered, his head dropping heavily against Sungyeol's shoulder as his body completely gave into sleep.

Recognizing the signs, Sungyeol smiled softly. Instead of just shifting on the sofa, he carefully slid one strong arm behind Sungjong’s back and gathered him securely under his knees. With a gentle lift, Sungyeol stood up, effortlessly carrying Sungjong's smaller frame across the quiet hotel room toward the king-sized bed. Sungjong didn't even open his eyes; he simply curled closer into the warmth, his hands loosely bunching the fabric of Sungyeol’s bathrobe.

Sungyeol laid him down onto the sprawling mattress with absolute care, the crisp hotel sheets rustling quietly beneath them. Before he could pull away, Sungjong reached out sleepily, pulling at Sungyeol's sleeve in a silent demand.

Chuckling low in his chest, Sungyeol climbed onto the mattress beside him, pulling the thick, plush duvet up over both of their shoulders. He opened his broad arms wide, and Sungjong didn't hesitate for a single second. The younger boy crawled straight into his space, burying his face into the crook of Sungyeol's neck.

As those strong arms wrapped securely around him, a profound sense of peace washed over Sungjong. He felt an intense, deeply rooted familiarity in this embrace. These were the arms that had held him, protected him, and shielded him through all the chaotic years of their youth, their exhausting years as trainees and the overwhelming success of their career. This was his safe haven, his ultimate source of comfort.

Buried deep in his hyung's safe, warm embrace, smelling the faint scent of hotel soap and familiar cologne, Sungjong let out a final, deeply content sigh. He was completely protected, treasured, and entirely taken care of for the rest of the night.

Notes:

Hii eo! Welcome to my very first fanfic ever! 😭 I completely lost my mind during Sungyeol and Sungjong's bathrobe live, so I just had to write this.
Since it's my first time writing, please don't have high hopes! but i really wish you enjoy the cozy, pampered vibes anyway. Let me know what you think in the comments! 💕
