The kids were running around and having a blast in the oven while Neil mad Andrew were resting on one of the chairs the beach had to offer watching their children have fun in the waves while they relaxed
They hadn’t had time to do this stuff with all the practice and games they had to play but for this whole week they had time off and they were spending it with their kids
“Be more careful Luke” Neil shouted over to the boy who was currently trying to see if he could float over his float which he had put at the ocean floor which if you had experienced before you would know was a bad idea and Luke was just about to realize because by passing the warning Neil had gave he tried to stand on the floaty and ended up capsizing into the water face first while his sister Julia watched in absolutely glee as her brother practically flew in the air landing bavk it the water with a big splash.
When Luke surfaced he immediately decided to run over to where Neil and Andrew were ignoring his sister who was still laughing at his downfall “Papa!!” Luke squeaked rushing face first into a lying Neil.
When Luke successfully wrapped hisself around Neil’s the boy immediately buried his face into Neil’s ribs. Neil sent a quick glance to Andrew who was already on his feet looking down at Luke who was currently about to cry so Neil decided to quickly bring like up to his chest and let the boy let all the pent up sadness out.
“We should head back to the hotel” Andrew suggested and Neil looking at Julia seeing her stand there her smile gone replaced with a look perplexed look on her face as she watched her brother shake and sob into their Papa’s chest then Neil looked down at Luke who’s face was all red and blotchy stained with tears
And Neil then looked up at Andrew giving a short nod and in no time Andrew made his way to their second child who had now came out of the water still looking straight at her brother.
When andrew go to the girl her gaze snapped to the blond “can I carry you yes or no?” Andrew asked “yes dad” Julia said living her arm up just enough for her dad to pick her up bringing her over to her brother and other dad.
“We are going back to the hotel now” Neil said his voice calm as he picked up Luke and signaling Andrew to go over to their car “ive got the rest you should go over and start the car and I’ll be right there” Neil assured and Andrew finally cracked letting out a short sigh while hiking up Julia higher up as he made his way to their car.
Neil looked at Andrew go for a few second before turning his attention to their necessities they had brought to the beach and impressively without dropping Luke Neil managed to get all their stuff balanced and everything and made his way to the car.
When he got to the parking lot he see Andrew staying out side the car his arms crossed as he looked over for Neil. When he finally saw the man he quickly rushed over taking all the stuff out of Neil’s had and making his way to the trunk of the car.
“I could have down that you know” Neil said as he came over Andrew back Luke already fastened in his seat.
Andre didn’t say anything as he arranged the trunk but he did send Neil one of the the dirties side eyes know to man which ment Neil should shut up and the auburn man knowing Andrew well didnt push any further.
When they got back to the the hotel Julia and Luke were both fast asleep tired from the all the running in the sea and Luke tired from all the crying
So being as careful as they could Andrew mad Neil picked up the sleeping children and made their way back to their room.
The two parents laid the sleeping children in their bed tucking them in as they went back to their own room where they changed into their own sleepwear turning off the light going to bed
