Growing closer and closer.

Spoke lays on the hard blackstone floor of his cell. The nether heat has stopped bothering Spoke. He's been here so long that he doesn't notice the heat blisters on his hands anymore, the way his clothes stick to his skin, the way his hair frizzes up... As he stares up at the ceiling, he daydreams about how he'll save everyone...how he'll save Mapicc and Jumper... And put Jamatos smug face into the ground.

He daydreams about being back in the over world, seeing all the wild life and forests, the blooming flowers, feeling the breeze on his face, running his fingers through the grass as he runs through fields, traveling around the server, maybe go to the end and see Minute...

Minute, the guardian of the end.

Spoke saw him as a father figure, as did Wemmbu. He saw Wemmbu as a brother since they grew up together...

Wemmbu...He hopes he's doing well, and making sure there dad's alright. They both knew that Minute wasn't there biological father but it didn't matter to them...

He misses his father and brother.

He hopes Flame is doing well. They were never that close but he still cared about him. Flames pvp skills were always mesmerizing to Spoke, watching him fight battles was like watching waves at a beach to him. The only reason they were relaxing to him was because he knew Flame would win. Knowing that made it so he could relax and watch his art.

"Spoke."

Spoke probs himself up on his elbows, he opens his eyes, all he can see is a blurry figure, once his eyes readjust, he sees him...standing in front of his cell bars is JamatoP, standing like he owns the world,he can sense the big shit eating grin on his face, though his mask covers it.

"JamatoP... What do you want now?" Spoke hated him, just the thought of him made his face scrunch up with anger.

Jamato waltzed over and flicked the lever to his cell door, opening it.

"I just want to have a chat... Come with me." Jamato said with a sickly soft tone.

He motions for Spoke to come out of his cell. Spoke pushes himself off of his elbows and stands up, his tail lagging behind him as he walks to the doorway. He can feel the weight of his shoulders set in as he walks... He's exhausted. He steps out of the doorframe and begins to follow Jamato.

As they walk Spoke glances at the other prisoners in there cells, some sleeping, some crying, and some... dead. He stares at the lifeless bodys, seeing the exhaust in the creases on their faces as he walks by. Seeing them made his whole body tense up.

"Keep walking Spoke." The Null guard hissed.

He didn't even realize he stopped,

"Yep... Sorry."

He hated having a Null guard walk behind him, it felt like if he were to make any movement that even pissed them off slightly, he would be dead. As they desended down the spiral staircases, Spoke could start to feel his feet drag behind him and his eyes droop, he couldn't even remember the last time he slept.

Once they got down to the main floor Spoke let his brain go on auto pilot since they wouldn't be going down anymore stairs for awhile, and started thinking about how when he gets out of here, he'll go back to Minute, to his childhood bedroom and sleep... sleep as long as he wanted.

With his large fluffy pillows and his silk blanket. His favorite one. Its a dark navy blue with a reflective star pattern. The stars have a milky yellow color which always reminded Spoke of the inside of a banana.

This blanket has been with him his entire life, it was the one that kept him warm when he was sick, the one he and Wemmbu would hide under to try and stay up as much as they could past their bedtime before Minute could find them, they would giggle sobloud that Minute always knew where they were, but played along.

Spoke couldn't sleep, no matter how much he tossed and turned, he couldn't fall asleep. Spoke wanted his dad. He slowly got out of bed, trying not to make to much noise. He tiptoed out of his room and headed towards Minutes. He peeked through the gap in the door... He's not there.

Spokes face contoured with confusion, but then he remembered that his dad would sometimes sit on the edge of the main end island. Spoke opened the first door he found that lead outside. The cool air hit him like a truck, but he still wanted to find Minute, so he sucked it up and went out looking for him.

The endstone was freezing cold, usually the cold didn't bug Spoke but this was freezing. He could feel his feet getting more numb the more he walked. Spoke makes it to the end of the wall that surrounds the main end island, but he can't find a door to get to the other side.

The numbness is starting to turn into pain as he stands there trying to spot a door. His eyes start to tear up uncontrollably from the pain but he keeps looking. Finally he finds a little hole in the wall that he can squeeze through.

Once he gets to the other side, he spots minute. Sitting on the edge of the island, just as he thought. Spoke knew Minute liked to watch the way the void shifts and changes, and outside the wall was the best place.

Spoke never knew why minute wouldn't just sit on top of one of the towers, but he guessed it was because so him or Wemmbu could reach him if needed.

He walks over to minute, trying to go as fast as he can to stop the burning from the cold,

"Hey dad?" Spoke muttered,

"Can I sit with you?"

Spoke looked up at the vast void of the end, watching the way it shifted.

"Of course kid."

Spoke sat down beside him, dangling his feet over the edge to stop the burning.

"Spoke you know your supposed to wear shoes if you come outside..." He sighed. Minute always made sure they would wear shoes so their feet wouldn't get frostbite.

He turned his head back to the void,

"You know your supposed to be asleep right?." Minute said with a strict but soft tone.

Spoke fidgeted with his hands,

"Yeah..."

Spoke then felt a warmness come over him, he looked down and realized his dad had grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around him, it was a dark blue with stars all over it. Minute sat back down beside him.

"Wemmbu still asleep?"

Spoke glances over at him,

"Yeah... Bu's still asleep."

Spoke tucked his legs into the blanket, the burning finally stopped.

"You know...This blanket reminded me of you, Spoke."

Spoke giggled,

"How does a blanket remind you of me? That's silly!"

Minute smiled slightly,

"Heh... I'm serious kid! You see those stars?"

Minute tapped on a star,

"Those stars... Are all the amazing things you're going to do in your life."

Minute pulled spoke to his side,

"...What I'm trying to say kid is that... This blanket reminded me of how much of a amazing person you're going to be."

Spoke gasped,

"Really??"

Minute laughed,

"Yes really!"

...

"I love you dad."

...

"Love you too kid."

Spoke starts to feel a sharp pain coming from his tail,

"AUOW!"

Spoke looks down at his tail to see the null guard stomping his foot on it. As they lift they're foot up Spoke instinctivly curls his tail around his legs,

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

Spoke shouts as he whips around to face the guard.

"Keep moving."

The null guard straightens his posture, almost trying to appear bigger to loom over the voidling.

"∴⍑ᔑℸᒷ⍊ᒷ∷ ᔑᓭᓭ⍑𝙹ꖎᒷ."

Spoke mutters under his breath as he turns around and starts to walk again.

As they walk Spoke starts to space out again, he doesn't want to think about anything... so he doesn't. He lets himself mindlessly follow Jamato. As he starts to come back to reality he realizes they're walking through the guards chambers.

"Why are we in here?"

Spoke felt a little uncomfortable being in a secluded area with just null.

"How else are we supposed to get to my office Spoke? Do you think I have a straight path out where the prisoners can get to?"

Jamato calls over his shoulder.

"I... I don't know man."

Spoke didn't have the energy to argue.

After walking through many halls and crossroads they finally end up at a hallway with glass sides that when you look out them, you can see most of purgetory. Spoke looks ahead of Jamato and sees they're going into this pod like room.

As they enter the pod spoke realizes that it's Jamatos office.

"Oh I thought this was going to be like an elevator up to your office but this is fine too."

Spoke glances around, before he's sat down in a chair. Jamato rests his arms on his desk,

"Now that your here. I have a proposition for you."

Spoke fidgets with his hands, rubbing his hand over the other hands knuckles always seemed to calm down to a extent.

"What."

"The deal is simple, you join null and work for me, I let mapicc and jumper go."
