After a long day of school Gregory goes to the Pizzaplex to see his animatronic father figure, Freddy. Over the past few years Gregory and Freddy have bonded to the point where Gregory sees him as a father figure, Even to the point where he has called him dad before.
Gregory gets to Freddy's room and knocks thinking Freddy would be there like he usually is. When Freddy does not answer Gregory quickly gets worried, and calls out to him, “Freddy are you-”
In the middle of his sentence, Gregory starts feeling an out of body experience like he just got electrically shocked before looking around him, and seeing that he is now in a swamp area. The swamp area was filled with tons of dying trees, with a smell so bad it makes Gregory shiver. Gregory starts to wonder, “What the heck is going on…?”
In the distance Gregory sees somebody dragging Freddy along into a little area that seems to be a laboratory. Gregory quickly calls out, “Freddy!” Before suddenly awaking back in Freddy's room.
“What was that?! Did I just have a vision???” Gregory begins wondering to himself. He has seen TV shows where people have visions, like Wednesday, but never thought a real human could experience that.
Gregory then gets back on track remembering what he saw in the vision, Freddy was there and he was being dragged by something.
“I have to go save Freddy.” Gregory thought to himself before remembering where the swamp was, and quickly ran out of the Pizzaplex to get there.
When Gregory gets to the forest it is just as bad as he saw in the vision, with the dying trees, and the unbearable smell. Not to mention that it was now the dead of night, so everything around Gregory gave an eerie vibe.
Gregory begins to walk through the swamp which made him feel really gross since the floor was all wet and muddy.
“I really need a new pair of shoes after this…” Gregory thought to himself as he kept walking through the swamp.
As Gregory continues through the forest he begins hearing the screeching noises of animals being hunted which made him wince in discomfort. He also begins to see snakes slithering around the ground, which he kept his distance from because he is terrified of them. Not to mention some of them could be really poisonous.
“I want to go home… I want to go home… No, I can’t leave Freddy behind. I need to save him.” Gregory takes a deep breath and continues on in the swamp. He couldn't hide the fact that he was on the verge of giving up right now, but he knows he needs to continue.
After a little more walking Gregory sees the little laboratory he saw in his vision and slowly approaches it. Inside the laboratory he sees a guy standing next to Freddy who is trapped inside of a cage. Gregory hides behind a wall to overhear what the guy is saying to Freddy.
“Let me go! Who even are you?!” Freddy bashes on the cage door trying to get it open, unfortunately though it was reinforced to make sure Freddy couldn’t escape.
“Not going to happen Freddy, and I’m Dr. Taggart the soon to be owner of the Pizzaplex” Taggart reveals a Frankenstein looking version of Freddy that was missing just a few parts.
“You see Freddy I have a mission to take over the Pizzaplex, and you are the last piece of the puzzle I need. You see for this project Dreadbear I just need a few parts from you in order to make it happen” Taggert starts laughing maniacally.
“Why are you trying to take over the Pizzaplex?! You better not hurt any of my friends!” Freddy yells as he continues to try to break out.
“Why?! Why you say? You see I was already supposed to own that damn company, but it got robbed from me. I was promised the company by both William and Henry, but they never delivered. Now I am just taking what’s rightfully mine. As for your friends, trust me they will be fine. For you though it is time to decommission you. I’ll give you a few more minutes to yourself, so you can think your final thoughts.” Taggart walks off leaving Freddy alone.
Gregory takes a few seconds to process everything he just heard. That guy was supposed to own Fazbear? Project Dreadbear?! Gregory shakes away all the thoughts he is having and quickly runs into the room where Freddy is.
“Gregory?! What are you doing here?” Freddy worryingly asks
“Getting you out of here, we need to hurry!” Gregory finds the key to the cage, and quickly unlocks it so that Freddy can escape.
“How did you even find me?” Freddy asks curiously.
Just as Gregory was about to answer, Taggart walks back into the room holding a syringe. He tries to swing it at Gregory, but Freddy punches Taggart right in the face, knocking him out.
“Gregory, call the police. I'll keep watch in case he wakes up.” Freddy says as Gregory goes to call the police.
Once Taggart gets taken away by the police Freddy turns to Gregory and says, “Now that he’s gone, how did you find me?”
Gregory starts explaining to Freddy about how he had a vision of Freddy being taken, and that is what led him here.
“How is that even possible…? Nevermind that, let's get out of here superstar.” Freddy says before beginning to walk out of the swamp with Gregory
