Argenti’s face was flushed bright red, Boothill grinned at the sight before him. The pretty red-head had a button up shirt on, only the shirt. If he wasn’t mistaken, Boothill recognized that it was a shirt he had seemingly lost out of the blue and simply chalked it up to bad luck. For it to turn up on the frame of the knight that had captured his attention so long ago was truly something.
“Well fudge me! Now that I think about it, the last time I saw that darned shirt was when we teamed up on that planet back then. I’ve gotta ask though, while it sure looks good on you, how in blazes did you come across it? And why not return it, Rosy?”
Argenti’s blush deepened as he looked for a plausible explanation. Before he could come up with something, Boothill shocked him into silence once more by hooking a metal finger where it was unbuttoned and using it to draw him closer. Bringing him nearly nose to nose with his silver companion.
“Now before the heat in yer face fries yer brain. I ain’t mad, just curious plain and simple. Don’t tell me ya missed me, Darlin’” He grinned, “I gotta say though, you dressed like this and all pretty and pink,” makes me want to ravish you here and now “makes me think that that Aeon you search for may be a lot closer than ya think.”
“Boothill! While I’m, um, happy that The Beauty is on your mind, you mustn’t jest like this!” Argenti quickly stammered. His face was warm enough that he was sure heat was radiating off of him. To have Boothill holding him by that single finger hooked in the top of his own shirt, yet paralyzing him by the look in his eyes. That of a predator that just caught the sight and scent of its favorite prey. It made him feel both excited and horribly nervous, he did his best to ignore the excited part.
“The lady at the front desk of this place seemed to recognize me from the last time we crashed here. Didn’t question anything, just handed me the key to yer room. I wonder what impression we gave off that she’d do somethin’ like that, hm?” Boothill stopped leaning against the closed door, Argenti heard the decisive click of the lock turn into place before Boothill walked toward him, swept him up over his shoulder and walked toward the bed. He planned on showing that pretty knight exactly how good he looked wearing Boothill’s clothes.
