Chapter Text
A Cradle, long handled by those who desire the most, left hanging ajar after a pair of strangers ransacked its life…
Long before it could understand, long before it could be understood…
It was life, cut short, as simple as a loose thread within a stitch…
Yet, life persists. Its life stays. For its existence is tied upon a clothing brand, rogue in its design in an attempt to plead upon more advice…
Fear occupied its first half, hunger followed soon…
Such as the nature of labels, placed upon one’s perception and impressions…
There’s no self yet… However, it won’t stay this way for too long…
So, you, whose gaze bearing the weight of subjective judgement, are brought before a court…
Was it a store? A playground? A restroom?
It doesn’t matter. The Cradle is yours to see and stare. Choices will be presented. Values shall be analyzed. Walls shall be examined. Decisions will be doubted…
It’s still not time yet. They were asleep at this moment.
Thus, you, the stranger behind a liquid crystal display, will wait until its birth…
In the meantime, why won’t you test your eyesight a bit?
The Judge stepped forward. They presented three items.
A hilt. A strap. And a holster.
Stranger, what shall the Cradle carry along in this journey?
[ ] The Hilt?
