Work Header

You're crazy(but I love you anyway)

Summary:

Marcus thinks about how Silvia manages to be so stupid while getting away with some of the most heinous acts one could possibly imagine. He also considers why he works for her in the first place, why he chooses to go along with her plans instead of stopping her reign of terror.

(I am still bad at summaries sorry if this sucks)

Notes:

After 4 months of burnout I finally wrote something, unfortunately its only 500 words as I have a competition coming up and that's the word limit. I watched Silvia's latest video and got inspired so here you go, hope you enjoy this and that it's not too poorly written.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

He could kill her, Marcus knows this. It would be easy, almost comically easy. He could easily kill while she sleeps or shoot her when her guard’s down. It would be the right thing to do, with all that she's done. She's caused so much terror all over the world that just about everybody wants her dead. If he killed her he'd be a hero, they'd give him a medal of honor for finally ending her reign of terror. He should kill her, for humanities sake, but he won't.
Marcus walked into the main part of the lair to find Silvia, grinning maniacally as she scanned the massive supply of weapons in front of her. Marcus stood by the entrance, watching her as she surveyed their collection. She had planned to attack a nearby city today and wanted to use the largest, most dazzling weapon they have to give the people a show. Marcus knew it wouldn't go the way she's planned, it never does. She always manages to screw something up and Marcus has to try and fix it. The fact that she's been able to do so much without ever getting caught leads most to believe she's some sort of genius. She's managed to fool every defense there is and easily defeat anything that's thrown at her. This makes her seem unstoppable, and maybe she is. However, Marcus has seen her in action, and she is unbelievably stupid. It's absurd how one can be so insanely reckless, so spontaneous as to randomly change plans at the last minute and decide to do unbelievably dangerous things with no amount of forethought. She should've been caught years ago, He should've caught her when he was with the military. Silvia is somehow able to avoid every attempt at defeat by what appears to be sheer luck, it's insane how long she's gone without anyone coming close to catching her.
He watches as she fumbles with one of their missiles, accidentally setting it off while trying to find out if the sparkles she put in when she first made it were pink or green. He watches as she runs around frantically trying to collect the glitter(which turned out to be blue) and is almost in awe at how Silvia in all her stupidity is somehow the smartest person he knows. The plans she makes always seem so childish and yet they manage to work every single time. She's managed to effortlessly destroy many cities. She's defeated Superheroes, the Military, even other villains. She's brilliant and she's stupid and she's crazy, she's someone who kills without second thought and laughs at others suffering. She's so evil most people believe her to have no empathy and no humanity and she decided to save him. She chose to save him. She could have easily left him to die the same way his general had but she saved him. He may never know why, but he owes her the world for it.

Notes:

If you read this entire think congratulations (well it wasn't that long but still), this was written in less than an hour so it probably could've been a lot better but oh well, Constructive Criticism is greatly appreciated, now I have to figure out what to do with the rest of my day.
