“Perfect” Ralsei sighs, falling onto the pushed-together beds. Today is the day Ralsei has been waiting for since Susie and Kris thought of it. He remembered it like it was yesterday…well it wasn't exactly yesterday.
The three sat in the cafè as swatch sets down their drinks. Kris had gotten chocolate milk, Susie had gotten a huge milkshake with marshmallows and chocolate. And Ralsei had gotten a cup of raspberry tea, with rosemary sitting on the side. “It's nice to just..sit down and relax for once” Susie said, taking a large sip of the milkshake. “I thought it would be nice to just have a break whilst we can” He replied, blowing on the tea before sipping it. “It feels like we haven't had a break like this in forever man, it's so tiring” Ralsei smiles, feeling the warmth of the tea fall down his throat. Though he didn't need to eat, he wanted to. It’s delightful, actually. The comforting, warm feeling that covered him. Kris slightly raised their hands before signing. “Ralsei?” They signed. “Yeah, Kris?” ‘Could I..stay here in a few days?’ “Of course Kris! You know Castle town will always be a second home to you guys” He exclaimed. “It'll be like a sleepover!” Susie said. “A..sleepover?” Ralsei asked, confused. ‘A slumber party,’ Kris signed. “What.. is that?” He asks. Susie gasps before slamming her hands on the table, shaking the tall glass in front of her. “You don't know what a sleepover is?” She asks. “No..?” Ralsei watches as Susie looks at Kris, and Kris looks at Susie, a smile growing on both of their faces. “WE SHOULD HAVE A SLUMBER PARTY!” Susie screams. A loud shushing noise comes from the table next to them. Suddenly, Lancer bursts into the cafe. “Hoho! Hi Susie!” He says, Running to her. “Hey Lancer!” She replies, doing a handshake they came up with. “What're you doing?” He asks. “Oh! We're planning a sleepover with Ralsei!” “Well not exactly yet—” Ralsei says, getting a pouty face from Kris, Susie, and Lancer. He chuckles before agreeing.
It's about time for them to arrive! He gets off the beds and steps back to the back wall, and inspects what he worked on. He had combined the two rooms together, and with the help of Lancer, got his bed down here, and managed to squish them all together. He had set up the round table, and made cake, as well as tea for everyone. With the help of Queen’s info, he had found out what people do at a sleepover. She said that people liked to play games, so he had set out a stack of board games on a desk. Along with that, there's beads to make bracelets, flashlights for spooky stories, stacks of papers for things to do, and other things. The door opens, making Ralsei’s head turn. “Hey Lancer, what are you doing?” He asks, turning himself toward Lancer. “Oh Nothing!” He says. “Would you like to join us?” Ralsei asks. “We can bring your bed down here– Oh and I can set up another chair for you!” “No It’s okay! Lesser dad and I are gonna dig a hole to the other side of the dark world!” He says. “Uhm..okay!” Ralsei replies, watching as a beam of light forms. “Lancer! Is thoust ready for the hole digging ceremonyeth,” Rouxls says. “Yes!” Lancer replies, jumping onto his head. “Let us go!” He calls out, before disappearing again. “Okay..” Ralsei sighs. ‘I really hope they like this..’ Ralsei thought. Suddenly, theres a loud knock on the door. “Ralsei!” Susie screams. She falls in the doorway, hitting the floor with a loud thunk. “Susie!” Ralsei rushes to her side. “Heh, gotta keep you on your toes,” Susie laughs, sitting up. “Susie!!” Ralsei says once again. Susie gets up and they move out the way so Kris can walk in. ‘Hi’ they sign. “Hey Kris!” He replies. “Your guy's pajamas are in your closets!” “Alright” Susie says, stretching her arms upward. He steps out of the room and shuts the door behind him. Tonight is going to go great! He got the help from the internet after all. The door beside him opens, and Kris stands in the doorway, in a black long sleeved shirt, and blue pajama pants with swords on them. “Ready?” Ralsei asks. Kris nods. He and Kris walk in. Susie has a white tanktop on and pink pajama pants. “Dude, where's your pajamas?” Susie asks. Oh, right. He didn't change. “Oh! Uh..I didn't think about that” Ralesi replies, looking at his cape and scarf before looking back at Susie. “Well it’s not a slumber party if not everyone's in pajamas, dumbass,”Susie says. “Oh! Uh..give me a moment then!” He says, rushing out of the room, and upstairs to his own. He should’ve known this! Of course everyone needs to be in pajamas, it's a sleeping party! He stops outside his door and takes a deep breath. It's fine. He goes into his room, and to the closet. He opens the door and searches through until he finds the familiar feeling of his pajamas.
He stands outside Susie’s shut door and knocks quietly before opening the door and going inside. Kris is rapidly signing, their smile wide while Susie writes it down. “Okay how many for kids?” ‘3, 100,5, 8’ Kris signed. “Okay dude lets see.. Oh hey Ralsei!” Susie says. “Hi! What are you guys playing?” He asks, walking over to the table in the middle of the room. “This sick game called MASH Kris heard about,” Susie says, making a continuous circle before Kris takes her wrist. “Okay gimmie a sec” Ralsei sits down in a chair and sits to the side, watching. He fiddles with the frayed edge of the tablecloth.
“Okay so..you'll live in an apartment, married to Berdly, you'll be a pianist and have 3 kids!” Kris covers their mouth before laughing. Quickly, Ralsei stands up and grabs the teapot off of a stand. “I made tea!” He calls out, pouring some in every cup. “Oh thanks man!” She says. ‘Thank You’, Kris signs. He takes a knife from the side and cuts the cake at the centre of the table, and dishes it out to everyone. “So..how has your group project been going?” Ralsei asks. “Well uh…” ‘None’ Kris signs. Ralsei laughs before sighing. “You guys need to do that. “Eh its fineee” He picks up his tea cup before letting the warm feeling wash over him. This'll be fun.
“Ralsei, whats over there?” Susie asks, standing from her chair and picking up the beading kit. “Oh! Queen said that a cool thing to do during sleepovers was make bracelets” ‘sick’ Kris signed. Susie opened it and took the string out, cutting a piece to match her wrist. “We should make matching ones!!” She suggests. “That'll be fun!” Ralsei replied. “Dude, that means you too,” She says. “Oh! Okay” He says, getting a piece of string to match his wrist before starting.
Time flies by. Their activities started with the tea party, but slowly traveled to a drawing contest, and played a card game called ‘Uno.’ Through all of this, it made Ralsei feel…welcome. Throughout the week, he has felt so many things so quickly but this? It made him feel like..he didn't have to rush. That he could just sit down for a bit. It reached the end of the night, and the three started to get weary.
‘I'm going to bed’, Kris Signed, sitting up from the floor, their bracelets jingling slightly as they stand. They go to their bed and fall on, covering themselves in the thick, fuzziness. “Me too. As fun as this is, im gonna pass out if I dont,” She says, laying on her bed at the other edge. Going along with them, Ralsei climbs onto his bed in the middle and covers himself in the blankets. “Tonight has been so fun” Susie whispers. “It has” He agrees. “We should do this more often,” “We should.”
“Goodnight Susie” Ralsei calls out. “Night, idiot”
“Goodnight Kris” A light snoring sound comes from them. A moment later, a loud snore erupts from Susie. He looks at the two back and fourth. Maybe, just maybe if he's with them..itll be okay.
