It is 12am, and Gregory can not fall asleep. In fact he still has a lot of energy, so he decides he’s going to play a game on his computer. He goes over to his computer, turns it on, and starts looking through his game list.
On his game list Gregory sees things like Fortnite, Minecraft, Dead by Daylight, but nothing was sticking out to him at the moment. He decides to go to steam, and browse through games seeing if anything cool would come across.
Gregory keeps scrolling through games until one peaks his interest “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” He has heard of the game before, but has never played it himself. He decides he wants to give it a chance, and downloads the game.
When Gregory first opens it, the first thing he takes notice of is the main menu, and the music. The music was giving the game a sort of bone-chilling haunted vibe. While in the menu is a twitching animatronic which evolved the whole haunted feeling.
After taking in the menu for a few more seconds Gregory hit “New Game”, and the game starts. When he gets into the game he sees that he is now in an office area with two doors to the left and right side of him.
Before Gregory can start doing anything though, his computer starts making a loud beeping noise. He starts panicking, and tries to close the game. For some reason though the game was refusing to close. After a few more seconds he felt himself being dragged towards the computer, like it was sucking him in like a black hole. In a matter of seconds he was completely taken into the computer.
Gregory starts feeling like he has control of himself again, and starts looking around the area. When he looks around he sees the fan, the doors, and the posters in the room he's in. He quickly realizes that he is no longer in the real world, he is in the office from the game. “I have got to be dreaming.” He thought to himself before hearing a phone start to ring.
“Hello Gregory, it seems my plan has worked.” On the phone was Dr. Taggart, the same person who has brought Gregory and Freddy so much trouble.
“Oh come on of course you again… How did you even do this?!” Gregory asks before almost exiting the office before realizing where he is again, and stays where he is.
“Well you see that’s besides the point. The main point is you are now trapped here, and you won't be able to leave unless you make it to 6am, and oh yeah I forgot to mention you’re going to be on the hardest difficulty. Good luck!” Dr. Taggart says before hanging up the phone.
“Are you kidding me?!” Gregory says before taking a deep breath. He did not even know how to play the game yet, and now he needs to beat the hardest mode, or he’s going to die. He knew he needs to try to stay calm though, or there would be no chance of survival.
As the night begins Gregory starts looking at the cameras realizing all the animatronics were gone from the stage already. He then checks pirates cove, and Foxy is immediately running at Gregory’s door. Gregory quickly slams the door shut on Foxy, and when Foxy leaves Gregory opens it back up.
“What the hell?! It just started…” Gregory says to himself realizing just how long of a night he is in for.
Soon after Foxy leaves though, Gregory hears the metallic feet of two animatronics walking down both the hallways. At the same time both Bonnie and Chica show up at the doors, and Gregory quickly has to shut both of the doors.
“C-Come on out I will show you a guitar trick.” The voice of Bonnie starts talking, Gregory did not know the animatronics could talk, so that made him jump a bit.
“Letsssssss eat.” Chica says, as she shows Gregory her cupcake. He is not going to trust that though, so he keeps the doors shut.
After Bonnie and Chica both leave, Gregory is able to open the doors, and take a moment to breathe. After a few seconds though his vision goes blurry for a couple seconds before he blinks a couple times to see again.
In Gregory’s office now was a Golden version of Freddy which made Gregory start slowly backing up. “Shit, shit where do I go.” He thought to himself before seeing a locker in the back of the office, and going in it.
Once in the locker, Gregory hides himself the best he possibly can. After a few seconds he sees the Golden Freddy disappear, and Gregory leaves the closet.
Gregory begins looking around the office again realizing nobody is coming towards his doors, and starts feeling more safe. Until the lights suddenly shut off, and he was now in complete darkness.
Gregory starts looking around frantically for anything to get the power back on. He knows he needs the power on in order to close the doors, and if he can’t get it back on, he more than likely will die.
Unfortunately though there is nothing around to get the power back on, Gregory is now trapped in complete darkness. He starts seeing a light at the end of the left hall though, and tries to get a closer look at it. He soon realizes it is the eyes of Freddy coming quickly towards him.
Gregory backs up into a wall, and begins begging for the night to end as Freddy was closing in on him. “Please, please hit 6am” Gregory shuts his eyes tightly before the lights suddenly strike back on, and Gregory teleports back into his room.
“I-I’m alive…” Gregory says to himself before taking deep breaths to calm down his racing heart. After a few seconds Gregory quickly deletes the vowing to never stay another night at Freddy's.
