Survivor: Crazy Winners at War
Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop is standing on a beach on one of the islands of the Orange Archipelago of Pokémon fame. He has his hands on his hips and a big smile on his face.
“We’ve had 16 seasons of Crazy Survivor, bringing together some of the most memorable characters in all of anime history,” he says. “But only 16 of those people have had the right to call themselves Sole Survivors! They are...”

“Though they’ve not yet spoken, first impressions are already forming.”
“These newer winners, I’ve never played against,” Sango says. “Some of them look formidable. Utena and Sayaka both look like they could kick butt. I’d better play it safe with them, or even better, make an alliance with them.”
“I’ve played this game in both the beginning and now also in the NEW ERA,” Misty says. “So I remember many of these people well. I tried getting Meilin out first thing in Seireitei Forest, but I ended up ousted myself instead. I’m going to try to see what worked in Promised Island and use it to my advantage out here.”
“All I really care about is being put on a tribe with Michiru,” Haruka says. “If we could play together, we will be absolutely unstoppable. No one’s going to find a way to penetrate our alliance. Ash and Misty are also out here... we could create a four-pronged, two-couple alliance that just devastates anything in its path.”
“This is like going into the 75th Hunger Games,” Finnick says. “After having won in a previous season, now I’ve got to try to do it all over again. I think I’ll have a leg up on these other people when it comes to physical skills. But I’ll need the sophistication of President Snow if I am to keep up with some of these other big brains.”
“They’ll be forced to work together to win challenges while voting each other out,” Jet continues. “And there’s a twist that no one would ever expect! 26 days, 16 winners... one Survivor!”
Day 1
Amateur Survivor
After the opening sequence, the camera pans over to Jet again as he stands upon the deck of the Thousand Sunny from One Piece containing the 16 players.
“We are here in the Orange Islands again!” Jet announces. “And right now, I have two tribes here, already given red and blue buffs. These 16 players are the only people to have ever won Survivor. There’s no also-rans here. These are the big guns, the best players to ever grace our game. Wearing the red buffs are the Warriors! They are... Sango, Minako, Finnick, Haruka, Utena, Sayaka, Leone, and Ash!”
The Warriors all start to cheer.
“So, the tribe I’m on looks like they’re all physically strong,” Sayaka says. “That’s helpful for winning challenges, but it also paints a bigger target on our backs once we make the merge. I need to find my mole in the other tribe like I did with Kyoko in my season Rivals.”
“Wearing the blue buffs are the Wizards! They are... Meilin, Rukia, China, Whitney, Michiru, Kaname, Anise, and Misty!”
The Wizards let out a louder cheer than the Warriors.
“No one expects me to win this game,” Meilin says. “Hell, no one thinks I’m going to make it to the merge. But I’m going to surprise a lot of people, and maybe even shock the world. This is my big opportunity; I’m going to take it.”
“Now, I thought we’d do something special this season, so hear me out,” Jet announces, with the players all groaning. “How about not playing for a million this season? How about playing for... two million?”
Everyone cheers upon hearing this.
“Minako and Ash, you both won two million already thanks to the doubling of your prize money for being named Player of the Season,” Jet says. “So, just think of this has quadrupling it should you win.”
“Sounds awesome!” Minako exclaims.
“Yeah, that’s really cool!” Ash says.
“The winner of this season will be, hands down, the richest player in Survivor history, having earned at least three million dollars.”
“Or whatever that’s worth in feudal Japan,” Sango says.
“Now, some other ground rules,” Jet says. “For the first time since Tropical Jungle, we will have no hidden idols in the game.”
Everyone gasps, with a few players clapping.
“In fact, there will be no twists of any kind; it will be Survivor at its most basic form,” Jet continues. “No Shots-in-the-Dark. No fire-making Final Four challenge. No losing or gaining votes. No Fire Tokens. No Medallion of Power. The only thing that will be somewhat a twist is that every single player in the game will make the jury. It will be a 13-player jury, with a Final Three. For every Tribal Council, both tribes will attend, with the immune tribe sitting in the peanut gallery enjoying some peanuts.”
“Wow,” Leone says.
“Sounds familiar,” Misty says.
“That’s right, we did something similar with you guys on Crazy Game Changers,” Jet says. “But we don’t have enough men to make this another gender-based season. It’s what happens when you have four seasons with only women playing.”
Everyone chuckles.
“In my season, it was the opposite!” China says.
“Yes, China, you had nearly all male characters on board for your season,” Jet says. “Anyway, those are the tribes, those are the rules, those are the twists, and now there’s only one thing left. You’ve got two minutes to get as much as you can off this ship and into the water for your tribe. That means supplies and food. You’ll then board your raft and get to shore, at which point you’ll follow the map to your beach. Who wants the map for each tribe?”
Misty and Ash both raise their hands in unison, and Jet tosses the maps to the two of them.
“In ten seconds, you will be opponents, and the game will be on,” Jet says. “10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Go!”
For the Warriors, it’s Utena, Sango, and Finnick working together to take a heavy bag of rice and get it on the red raft. Ash and Leone both grab crates of fruit, and Haruka and Sayaka work on getting big bamboo poles. Minako is in charge of getting tools, and she gets them into crates to place on her tribe’s raft.
“Everyone get bamboo!” Haruka calls. “We need all the supplies we can get!”
“Don’t forget the canteens!” Sayaka shouts.
Meanwhile, for the Wizards, Meilin and Rukia go after cooking pots, tools, and items, while China and Kaname get some bamboo poles down. Misty and Whitney go after the food, while Michiru and Anise get the water canteens for their tribe, sending things flying down to their blue raft.
“Ten seconds!” Jet shouts.
Haruka helps her tribemates down to jump into the water. Kaname similarly helps the others on her tribe get down to their raft.
“Time’s up!” Jet shouts. “Take your rafts to shore and follow your map to get to your beach. And good luck. You’re gonna need it!”
The two tribes each start stroking their oars and making their way over to the beach.
Warriors Tribe
(Ash, Finnick, Haruka, Leone, Minako, Sango, Sayaka, Utena)
Upon arriving at camp, the brand-new Warriors tribe takes a look at their supplies.
“Looks like we got everything we needed!” Minako says.
“Yeah, very good!” Ash says.
“All right!” Leone exclaims. “Let’s get workin’ on that shelter!”
Leone leads the way for the Warriors Tribe during the shelter-building process. She, Sayaka, and Utena are in charge of doing the heavy lifting.
“Start grabbin’ whatever you can!” Leone exclaims.
“Let’s move these over there,” Utena says.
“And push these into place,” Sayaka says.
As the three of them put together the shelter, there comes a chance to talk about the social game.
“So, what are you guys thinkin’?” Leone asks. “I’m thinkin’ of making a BIG MOVE early!”
“I’m not so sure that’s the best idea,” Utena replies.
“Yeah, let’s slow down a bit here,” Sayaka says.
“Huh?” Leone says. “Why not get aggressive early?”
“The time will come for that,” Utena says. “I prefer to take a more measured approach to the game.”
“Yeah, and I don’t think it’s a good idea to cross anyone this early,” Sayaka says.
“Oh, come on!” Leone exclaims. “Don’t ya want to play this game?”
“Now’s not the time to use that!” Sayaka exclaims. “We’re still early on here.”
“Really?” Leone says. “You’re gonna pick a fight this early?”
“I will do what I must!” Sayaka exclaims.
As Leone and Sayaka walk up to each other, Haruka comes over and breaks up the argument.
“This is nonsense,” Haruka says. “I know both of you want to play this game, and you both have your own way of playing. Let’s keep things civil. We’ll have plenty of time to go after each other later. Trust me, I know. I did exactly that my first season, and it got me voted out second.”
“Yeah, Haruka is right,” Utena says. “Just let it go for now.”
Sayaka walks away, while Leone just shakes her head.
“Sayaka and Leone are real opposites,” Haruka says. “But for now we’ve got to stick together as teammates. Everyone knows that your chances of winning go up every time you win immunity. I want to win this game, not just make the merge. And to do that, I’ve got to play peacemaker today... so I can be the puppeteer tomorrow.”
As Haruka walks away from the situation, Leone sticks her tongue out at Sayaka, who shakes her head.
“I try to get some sort of response from Utena and Sayaka, and it’s very negative,” Leone says. “The two of them are too stiff and buttoned up. It’s not like I have a problem with either of them, but man, do I wish people were as aggressive as I am!”
“Leone is trying a little too hard, too early,” Utena says. “I’m not saying I’m going to vote for her, but I really feel like she came here feeling invincible, and that’s not the way it works. I know from my season that I had to work every last vote to survive, and even though I played a ‘perfect game,’ I still was far from perfect.”
“I think this early part is all about teamwork,” Sayaka says. “We need to win as a tribe and succeed as a tribe. That’s what gave me such a huge advantage in my season! My tribe won the first five immunity challenges. If we focus on making the early portion of the game one which we can work together on, then all that other success will follow naturally.”
Meanwhile, Finnick and Sango have a conversation about Ash and Minako.
“Those two have already won two million,” Finnick says. “For people like you and me, we’re just fighting to stay alive.”
“Exactly!” Sango says. “Since they got double their money for winning the Sprint Player of the Season, they already have their bag! I think we should target them first.”
“Money doesn’t mean that much to me,” Finnick says. “All I wanted was the fighting to end in Panem, and it finally has. So, the cash isn’t what I’m after: it’s the glory. I want to be the first two-time winner, and I want to do it unanimously... again.”
“Being the first winner puts me at an extreme disadvantage,” Sango says. “I’m the first, so I’m considered the luckiest and the least skilled. I won at a time where supposedly it wasn’t that difficult to win Survivor. Actually, it was. But having that stereotype makes me look to be a weak link, and I’ve got to fight against that.”
Ash and Minako, at the same time, are bonding as well.
“So, you were super popular too?” Minako says to Ash as they pickup some bamboo together.
“Yeah, I guess everyone liked me!” Ash says.
“But you know that puts a bigger target on our backs,” Minako says. “The two of us are already multimillionaires. The others aren’t going to take a liking to our winnings.”
“That’s why we’ve got to stick together,” Ash says. “We’ve got to find some people to work with.”
“I think the revelation of the two-million-dollar prize was a bad thing for me,” Minako says. “Since I already won two million, everyone thinks of me as now winning four million. So, there’s a target on my back from the very beginning. I can’t fly under the radar like I did in my first season. I’m going to have to win challenges aplenty.”
“I honestly forgot that I had won two million,” Ash says. “I just remember winning this game after having been the first person voted out in Survivor history. That makes me a bigger target, like I was when I had Pikachu running around causing problems in Feudal Japan. I’ve got to make sure I’m not first out again.”
Wizards Tribe
(Anise, China, Kaname, Meilin, Michiru, Misty, Rukia, Whitney)
As Rukia sets up part of the shelter with China, she points out something rather obvious.
“Misty literally just won Promised Island,” Rukia tells China. “What does she need another win for?”
“I agree,” China says. “It makes a lot of sense.”
“We’ve got to get her out first,” Rukia says. “Just don’t let anyone know that I said Misty’s name.”
“No problem,” China replies.
“Having won this game before, I know the importance of keeping a secret,” China says. “And I will. Rukia makes a good point: no reason for someone to win back-to-back seasons. That would be like me winning the gold medal race at the Olympics two consecutive times! Never have I pulled it off!”
“Misty has to be target number one,” Rukia says. “In a game where everyone is a target, sometimes you need to make someone else’s bullseye even bigger. In this case, it’s Misty, because she just won this game. Gotta take her out now.”
Rukia tells this to Michiru as she gathers some wood, and Michiru agrees.
“On one condition,” Michiru says.
“What’s that?” Rukia asks.
“You don’t go after the next-to-last person to win this game, because that’s me,” Michiru says. “I don’t want to be a casualty of that.”
“Absolutely, don’t worry about it,” Rukia says. “Just remember: Misty.”
“Got it,” Michiru says.
“I got through my last time through this game with one simple mantra: anyone but me,” Michiru says. “But that’s not going to work on a season with all winners. I’d love to play with Haruka, but I can’t worry about that right now. The goal is to make Misty the target right off the bat.”
But Whitney and Anise have other ideas, as they talk while cooking some food.
“What’s the most dangerous thing in Survivor?” Whitney asks Anise.
“Uh... falling into the fire?” Anise replies.
Whitney facepalms, then holds out a fist.
“What’s this?”
“A fist... oh! What the hell are you hitting me on the head for?” Anise asks.
“Because you’re pretending not to be smart,” Whitney says. “You are brilliant, I know from watching you.”
“Oh, no you don’t!” Anise replies. “My season got cancelled for low ratings. It only got released years later to make my victory official. So, you have no way of knowing the size of my brain.”
“Let’s get back to the issue at hand,” Whitney says. “What’s the most dangerous thing in Survivor? A power couple.”
“You said it,” Anise says. “Though they don’t always win. Look at Rukia and Tatsuki in Crazy All-Stars, or Killua and Alice in Crazy Game Changers.”
“So, do you follow me?” Whitney asks.
Anise pauses to think. “Ah-ha,” she says, as Meilin walks over to them.
“What is it?” Meilin asks.
“What dangerous duos are there in this game?” Whitney asks.
“Oh, that’s easy!’ Meilin replies. “There’s Ash and Misty, and Haruka and Michiru.”
“Exactly,” Whitney says. “We’ve got Misty and Michiru on our tribe. Let’s make them the early target.”
“Which one?” Meilin asks.
“We’ll figure that out as we go along,” Whitney says.
“There’s only one way to play this game, and that’s at full throttle, 100 miles per hour,” Whitney says. “I don’t know how many kilometers that is. I’m gunning for Misty and Michiru right off the bat. The only problem will be getting enough people on board without spilling the beans.”
“Whitney’s going too hard, too fast,” Anise says. “But what do I know? I took control of my tribe on Day 1 and never let up all the way till the end! Still, these are the best of the best out here. I’ve got to be on my toes!”
Rukia and Kaname are debating the same subject, but in a different way.
“There’s two ways of doing this, but they lead to the same answer,” Rukia says. “We could go after Misty because she just won, or we could go after Misty because she has an ally in Ash on the other tribe.”
“I see where you’re going with this,” Kaname says.
“Basically, what I’m saying is that we’ve got an easy early target, but that’s the catch, isn’t it?” Rukia says. “Anytime you end up with an easy vote, it never goes to plan.”
“I know!” Kaname replies. “It’s like there’s a magnet that repulses votes from the person you want to get voted out. It’s so irritating!”
“Which is why we’ve got to stick strong,” Rukia says, reaching out to fist-bump Kaname. “You won a difficult season. I like you. Be careful, please.”
“Pleased to be your friend!” Kaname says, fist-bumping Rukia. “I may not look it, but I’ve got some brains in here!”
“Don’t worry,” Rukia says. “I believe you.”
“Misty has to be our number one target,” Rukia says. “She is both the most recent winner of the game, and she has help waiting for her over on the other tribe. But I just know the way this game works, the easy vote won’t be the first vote. That’s why I’ve got to expand my influence.”
“I come off as not the smartest person,” Kaname says. “But I did win this game! Minako and I played very similar games. The two of us act stupid but really have brains! I hope to work with her if we both make the merge. But for now, I’m going to work with Rukia, because she has been very friendly with me.”
Misty, meanwhile, realizes that some resistance is being put up to her. When she goes to help Rukia with part of the shelter, Rukia gives her the cold shoulder, and Anise does the same thing.
“I think I’m on the outs here,” Misty says. “They’re all gunning for me. Which is why I’ve got to figure out a master plan, or I’ll be bound for the garbage can. I don’t know if it’s because I just won, or because Ash is over there on the Warriors tribe, or what. In any case, I’ve got to figure out how to get the target off me.”
Warriors Tribe
(Ash, Finnick, Haruka, Leone, Minako, Sango, Sayaka, Utena)
Utena and Sayaka carry logs up from the beach to help with the fire, which Haruka is ready to start with the flint.
“You sure you can do this?” Leone asks.
“I may not be Sailor Mars, but I can still make fire,” Haruka replies.
She starts slashing at the flint and gets the necessary sparks. Leone and Minako work quickly to help build the fire, while Ash celebrates.
“We did it!” he shouts. “We got our fire going!”
“Great!” Sango says, as she finishes one part of the shelter. “That’s what we needed.”
“Haruka really is something else,” Finnick says, standing nearby Sango.
“Why would you say that?” Sango asks.
“I’m just being honest,” Finnick says. “She’s a really good asset for our tribe.”
Sango looks on, a bit wary, while Minako hears from a distance.
“I think Finnick is looking for a reason to target someone,” Sango says. “He wants to play this game hard from the get-go. Now, I played back at a time when it was to your benefit to play as under the radar as possible, because the under-the-radar people like myself and Minako won the game back then. But it’s also important not to get too much attention and be the first person voted out from your tribe.”
“I see Haruka becoming popular with the rest of the tribe, and I just wonder,” Finnick says. “Is she a good choice to get out first? After all, she beat out a field of 29 other players to win Crazy All-Stars. But as much as I’d like to make a BIG MOVE early, I’m not sure it’s the right decision yet.”
After the fire is set up and going, Haruka starts walking away from the shelter and the other players. Minako comes running over to her to ask her why.
“What is it?” Haruka asks as Minako comes up to her.
“Just wondering why you left everyone,” Minako says. “Doesn’t seem like you.”
Haruka chuckles. “Silly, I’m going to the bathroom! There’s no idols to search for. I just didn’t want to announce it to everyone.”
“Oh! Okay!” Minako says.
She then leans over to Haruka a little closer.
“I think Finnick is gunning for you,” she whispers.
Haruka gives a furious look. “Really?”
“Yeah,” Minako says. “Just wanted to let you know.”
“Thanks,” Haruka says.
“So, it appears that Finnick right off the bat is choosing to try to make a BIG MOVE,” Haruka says. “That’s all nice and everything once you’re deep into the game. It’s not a good idea just hours into the game! I don’t think I’m in any danger, but I’m glad Minako has kept me appraised of the situation. She’s someone I’m going to go to war with.”
“I was looking for any excuse I could get to become close to Haruka,” Minako says. “Because I want to be part of a three-person alliance at the merge, the three Sailor Senshi. We’d be unstoppable! Thankfully, Finnick gave it to me. Now I’m going to work on Ash, who is my other closest ally. He and I have both won two million and have a bigger target on our backs.”
Meanwhile, as Utena and Sayaka are doing all the chores, Ash and Leone relax under the newly built shelter.
“You takin’ it easy?” Leone asks Ash.
“Yep,” Ash says. “One thing I’ve learned is that the more you do around camp, the more you get a target painted on your back.”
“Same!” Leone replies. “I can do this survival stuff in my sleep. But if I’m puttin’ myself out there like a warrior – like we’re called the Warriors – then I might as well be drawing a bullseye on myself!”
“Yeah, and also, you need to recharge!” Ash says. “That’s why we’ve got Pokémon Centers!”
Leone chuckles. “Finally! Someone on this tribe gets it!”
“I like you,” Ash says. “What do you say, making an alliance?”
“Hey, I already considered ya on my side!” Leone says, fist-bumping Ash. “No reason to ask!”
“Leone and I hit it off really fast really early,” Ash says. “She’s got a carefree personality. She’s awesome! Everyone else is so serious, but Leone’s just chilling. We’ve got a great vibe going, and I look forward to keeping a connection with her.”
“Utena and Sayaka are acting like this is boot camp or somethin’,” Leone says. “But Ash knows what’s up. He’s laid-back and he’s easy to talk with. He’s a breath of fresh air. Plus, with him and me relaxin’, we’re gonna be so tough to beat in challenges.”
But Sayaka and Utena are not too happy with how things are going down.
“You notice we’re doing all the work around here?” Utena says.
“Oh, yeah,” Sayaka says. “If not for us, camp would be falling apart.”
“What should we do, then?” Utena asks. “Just quit working and let that happen? Or try to get some leverage when it comes to Tribal Council?”
“That second option is the one I’m after,” Sayaka says. “If both of us are viewed as indispensable members of our tribe, it’s going to be very hard for them to vote us out before the merge.”
“I’m on board, then,” Utena says. “Now let’s move these logs.”
“Sayaka and I have a different view of this game than Ash and Leone,” Utena says. “I believe in nobility, and that’s exactly what Sayaka is. She has a great work ethic and she’s dedicated to doing a good job. That’s nobility. She’s impressed me out here. Ash and Leone... have not.”
“I respect the idea of trying to keep yourself fresh for challenges, but come on!” Sayaka says. “They’re putting a burden on us, and everyone else too. This has helped me realize who I can count on... and who I cannot.”
Wizards Tribe
(Anise, China, Kaname, Meilin, Michiru, Misty, Rukia, Whitney)
China and Rukia go to work on starting the fire, while Whitney and Anise sit in the shelter, watching as Michiru is off getting water. Meilin sneaks over and whispers over to Whitney and Anise.
“Rukia and China want Misty out,” Meilin says. “They say that’s the easy vote because she’s the last one to win and she’s got Ash on the other tribe.”
“That’s amateur Survivor!” Whitney responds. “You think anyone’s going to give any jury votes to Misty? She just won this game! She’s the perfect goat to carry around to the end.”
“For once I agree with Whitney!” Anise chimes in. “We can drag Misty along as an extra vote as long as we want! The real threat is the Haruka-Michiru pair. You know those two are going to be inseparable at the merge.”
“But what about Ash and Misty?” Meilin asks.
“You really think Ash is making the merge?” Whitney says. “The only reason he won his second season was because Soi Fon dragged his ass up and down the court for 48 minutes, or in this case, 39 days! He’s going to be a target on the other tribe from the beginning.”
“Yeah, I’m not overly concerned with the Ash-Misty pair,” Anise says. “Misty’s a nice shield to have. When I won in Tropical Jungle, I used Kasumi as my shield, and I let her take all the damage from my moves. In the end, she got to the Final Three but couldn’t get a single vote!”
“If you say so...” Meilin says.
“We need to make a BIG MOVE right out of the gate and get out Michiru,” Whitney says. “I don’t fear Misty at all. She and Ash are such big targets that it doesn’t matter if they make it to the merge together. They won’t do anything there. But Michiru? She worries me. Because she and Haruka are so close to each other, that power couple scares me the most.”
“Whitney is playing full throttle already, but she is right,” Anise says. “Michiru and Haruka would be dangerous, to say the least. Ash and Misty don’t seem smart enough to be able to pull off what those two could.”
“I’m not sure if I understand why Whitney is so anxious about Michiru making the merge,” Meilin says. “Even if she does make the merge, you gotta figure she’s an easy target. Yeah, I know she’s so likable, but... I don’t know. I’m not ready yet to make a BIG MOVE.”
Meanwhile, Michiru goes off to the water well, where she meets up with Misty and Kaname.
“How’s it going?” Michiru asks.
“Great!” Misty says. “There’s just one problem.”
“What’s that?” Michiru asks.
Kaname gulps. “You two are the targets that everyone’s talking about.”
“Me?” Michiru says.
“Yeah, and me,” Misty says. “We’re the ones everyone’s gunning for.”
“But why?”
“Because you have Haruka, and I have Ash,” Misty says. “That’s all they need to know.”
“Not to mention, you two are the most recent winners,” Kaname says.
“So, who is running the show?” Michiru asks.
“We’re not sure yet,” Kaname says. “Rukia’s after you, Misty. And the other name I keep hearing is yours, Michiru. So, I don’t know which one’s the right one, but I think you’re both targets.”
“What should we do?” Michiru asks.
“We’ve got to get numbers on our side,” Misty says. “I think China’s easy to convince.”
“And I think Rukia is willing to as well,” Kaname says.
“What name are we going after?” Michiru says.
“It depends,” Misty says. “We’re going to have to play that by ear.”
“So, apparently I’m in a lot of trouble early,” Michiru says. “I thought that by being quiet and not causing any problems, that I’d be able to slip under the radar like I did in Crazy Game Changers. Apparently not. I’ve got to find a way to get the target off my back.”
“Coming in here fresh off a victory is obviously not doing me any favors,” Misty says. “They want me out early because I won and because I know Ash. That’s stupid. Michiru knows Haruka and Minako. She should be a bigger target than me. But I can’t say that in front of Michiru. And I don’t trust Kaname. She seems to be a loose cannon.”
“I don’t know why I told Misty and Michiru that I heard their names thrown out there, but I think it was the right thing to do,” Kaname says. “If I were in trouble, I’d expect them to do the same. Playing an honest game won me Xing. Hopefully it wins me another one here.”
Meanwhile, Rukia gets the fire going, and China cheers.
“Hip hip hooray!” China exclaims. “This is the biggest thing since America flew past the moon last spring!”
“Hey, if I’m a Soul Reaper, I should be able to make fire,” Rukia says. “Even if my powers are in ice.”
“Good job!” China says. He then leans in a little closer to Rukia. “By the way, you still thinking Misty?”
“Absolutely,” Rukia responds. “She’s got to be the first vote, no matter what.”
“Sounds good,” China says.
“Misty is the easy vote, and I’m going to make that very clear as I mingle with the other members of our tribe,” Rukia says. “For now, I want to try to make it clear that we’ve got a lay-up, and we should take it. Let’s not overthink this – the most recent winner and the fiancé of someone on the opposite tribe is the biggest threat.”
“Rukia is awesome, kind of like Prussia!” China says. “I’m riding with her for now. Maybe we could really go far into this game together! But I’m not tying myself to her permanently. I’m ready to jump ship if I have to.”
As the sun goes down, the tribe gathers together in the shelter, and Michiru and Misty can both feel a cold shoulder being put forth to them.
“There’s no doubt about it,” Michiru says. “There’s something that tells me that things aren’t right. I’m going to get to the bottom of this tomorrow. Right now, the best thing to do is to be quiet and hope that someone else makes a mistake first.”
“Something’s up,” Misty says. “I don’t know if this is some elaborate screen to split votes on myself and Michiru, as if that would matter in a game without idols. But there’s some reason that the two of us are being treated differently from everyone else. Tomorrow, I’ve got to figure out why that is – and put a stop to it.”
