~ Remus' POV ~
It is a typical afternoon and Remus is hanging out with his best friend Regulus at the school library while he waits for his boyfriend Sirius to finish hockey practice. They have been together for a little over a year now, but no one knows. Well except for Sirius' best friend James and his girlfriend Lily. As well as Remus' best friend Regulus. Who happens to be Sirius' twin brother.
Remus understands why Sirius is hesitant to come out. One of the reasons is because of his parents. It is the same reason that Regulus told Remus that he doesn't plan on coming out until he is in college and away from his parents. The second reason and probably the main reason is that Sirius is the co-captain of their school's hockey team. It is already hard to come out in school, but it is harder if you are an athlete. He knows that Sirius is probably afraid of how people will react, and if it will have an effect on him earning a scholarship for college. Remus told him that he is willing to wait to go public.
Regulus has asked Remus before if it bothers him having to hide his relationship. Remus has told him it does but it doesn't. He understands why Sirius is afraid to come out and that doesn't bother him. What bothers him is having to watch the girls at the school flirt with Sirius. Especially when he flirts back.
Remus is in the middle of working on his essay for his AP English class when he hears Regulus put his pencil down. He looks up to see what is wrong. “Are you ever planning on telling my brother?” He asks.
“Telling your brother what?” Remus replies not looking up from his essay.
Regulus puts his hand on Remus' arm to keep him from writing so that Remus will look at him. “About how it bothers you that he lets all those girls flirt with him, and when he flirts back.” Regulus says, quietly so no one will overhear.
“No. It's not that big of a deal.” Remus says.
“What do you mean it's not that big a deal? Yes it is a big deal if it bothers you.” Regulus says.
“I mean it isn't a big deal, because he isn't out yet, so it doesn't matter. I am not going to pressure him to come out when he isn't ready to.” Remus says.
“I didn't say to pressure him. I said you need to tell him how it makes you feel to see him flirting with the girls.” Regulus says.
“It is fine Reggie.” Remus says.
“No it's not. You matter too Remus. I have seen the look on your face when you see it. You need to tell him, or I will.” Regulus says.
Remus turns and looks at Regulus. “No, you can't. I will talk to him eventually. Just let it go for now please.” He says.
“Are you sure?” Regulus asks.
“Yes, I am sure. I don't want to put any kind of pressure on him. Not when they have the playoffs coming up.” Remus says.
“Ok, I won't say anything for now, because of the playoffs.” Regulus says.
Remus and Regulus are finishing up with their homework when they hear someone walking up to the table. Both of them look and see Sirius sitting at their table. Sirius looks around before saying, “We are going to have to reschedule hanging out tonight. The team wants to go out and hang out since the playoffs are coming up.”
“Ok, see you later.” Remus says.
A cheerleader walks over and says, “Come on Sirius. You said you just had to tell your brother that you couldn't take him home. Everyone is waiting.”
“Tell everyone that I’ll be there in a minute.” Sirius says.
“Ok.” She says smiling and giggling as she walks away.
“Sorry. I got to go, I'll text you later.” Sirius says, giving Remus’ arm a quick squeeze.
After he walks away Regulus looks at Remus, and he sees the look on Remus' face as Sirius walks away. He knows it bothers him that Sirius is cancelling on him. Even though he won't admit it.
“What do you say to us going to your place? We can get a pizza and watch a movie. You can pick.” Regulus says.
Remus smiles at him. “That sounds like fun to me.” He says.
“Are you sure you don't want me to say something to Sirius?” Regulus asks.
“Yes, I am sure. He isn't cheating on me or anything. He just isn't ready to come out. I understand. He doesn't want it to affect him getting a hockey scholarship. It is fine.” Remus says.
“I still think you should tell him it bothers you when he flirts with the girls. You aren't telling him to come out if you do. You are just asking him to stop something that upsets you.” Regulus says.
“I know.” Remus says.
“Then why don't you do it?” Regulus asks.
“I don't know. Can we just leave now?” Remus says.
“Yeah, let's go.” Regulus says.
Remus and Regulus pack all their stuff up and leave the library. What they didn't know was that Lily was in the library getting a book and she overheard their conversation.

~ Sirius' POV ~
Sirius is hanging out with the rest of the hockey team. They decided to all go out for pizza together. There are a couple of cheerleaders watching him, so he smiles at them. Then they come over to talk to him. He starts talking to them until his best friend James comes over to him. “Sirius, can I talk for a minute?” He asks.
“Sure.” Sirius then turns to the girls and says, “I just need a minute.”
Sirius follows James out of the crowded area. Once they are a bit away from everyone else Sirius asks, ‘What did you need to talk to me about?”
James looks around to make sure no one is paying attention. “About you and Remus.” James says.
“What about me and Remus?” Sirius asks.
“Don't you think you are being unfair to him? I mean it already got to be hard not being able to tell anyone that you guys are a couple, but he also has to watch you talk to and sometimes flirt with different girls.” James says.
“I know I am not being fair, but Remus doesn't mind. He knows I love him and only want him, and he knows that I plan on coming out once this season is over.” Sirius says.
“Are you sure he is ok with it?” James asks.
“He has never told me that it bothers him.” Sirius says.
“Lily thinks it bothers him and after what she said I think the same thing.” James says.
“Why? Did he say something to Lily?” Sirius asks.
“Not exactly.” James says.
“Then why do you guys think that?” Sirius says.
“Well Lily can't be for certain it’s just something she overheard.” James says.
“What did she hear Prongs?” Sirius asks.
“Well she was in the library earlier and she overheard Remus and Regulus talking, and from what she heard it sounded like Remus doesn't like you flirting with the girls like you do.” James says.
“Are you sure that is what he said?” Sirius asks.
“Lily said that she heard Regulus saying that he should tell you that it bothers him when you flirt with the girls and how he isn't asking you to come out, but to stop something that upsets him.” James asks.
Sirius puts his head in his hands. “I am such an idiot. I should have known it would upset him.” He says.
“What are you going to do? Are you going to talk to him about it?” James asks.
“I think I will. I need to see if Lily is right, because if so I need to stop it. I don't want to do anything that hurts my Moony.” Sirius says.
“How are you going to find out for sure if he said it?” James asks.
“I know if I ask Remus he will probably deny saying it. He doesn't want me to think he is pressuring me, but I know if I ask Regulus I will get the truth. Regulus doesn't care how he makes me feel, he will tell me straight out what he thinks about what I am doing.” Sirius says.
When Sirius gets home that night he finds Remus is there hanging with Regulus. So he knows that he will have to wait to ask Regulus about what happened that afternoon in the library.

~ Remus' POV ~
Remus follows Regulus out to his car. They both throw their bags in the back seat when they get in. Regulus suggests that they go to the store and get snacks before they go back to his place to watch the movies. They end up getting some chocolate, popcorn, and sodas. Then Regulus stops at the pizza place they like and they get a pizza to share before going to Regulus' house. They take everything they just got and go down to the family room that is in the basement.
After laying out the snacks they decide to binge watch one of their favorite tv shows instead. They both like mysteries, so they decide to watch Monk. Once they start the show they start eating their pizza. When it is all gone they throw away the trash and go back to their show.
A couple hours later they hear someone walking down the steps into the family room and look. They see Sirius. “Hey Reggie. Hey Moons.” He says.
“Hi Sirius.” They both say.
Sirius walks into the room further. “What are you guys watching?” He asks.
“Monk.” Regulus says.
“Did you have fun hanging out with the team?” Remus asks.
“Yeah, it was ok. Everyone is really excited for the playoffs to start next week.” Sirius says.
“I bet they are.” Regulus says.
Sirius turns to Remus. “You are going to come right?” He asks.
“Yeah, I am going to try to.” Remus says.
“Good. Well I’ll let you guys get back to your show. See you later.” Sirius says, before heading back upstairs.
“I still think you should tell him.” Regulus says, once Sirius leaves.
“I know, but I told you why I couldn't. I can't do anything that will mess with his concentration before the big play-off game.” Remus says.
“Ok, but after the play-offs are over you had better tell him.” Regulus says.
Later when it is time for Remus to go home Regulus takes him. When he pulls up in front of Remus' place he says, “Coffee tomorrow morning at our usual place?”
“You know it. Next time you want to have a movie night let me know so I can bring extra clothes. Then you wouldn't have had to bring me home.” Remus says.
“You could have always borrowed clothes.” Regulus says.
“From who? Your clothes are too small for me because you are shorter than me. Sirius' are too big since he is taller and has more muscles.” Remus says.
“I know. I will make sure to let you know in advance next time.” Regulus says.
“Ok, see you tomorrow.” Remus says, opening the car door.
“See you.” Regulus replies.

~ Sirius' POV ~
Sirius is in the living room sitting when Regulus and Remus come up from the family room. Remus walks over and kisses Sirius a kiss. “I’ll see you later honey.” He says.
“See you later Moonbeam.” Sirius replies.
Sirius decided to wait in the living room for Regulus to come back. He wants to catch him as soon as he gets back, so he can ask Regulus about what James told him.
It is a little while later when Regulus comes back. As soon as he walks in the front door Sirius says, “Reggie can I talk to you?”
“What do you want, Sirius?” Regulus asks.
“I need to talk to you about Remus.” Sirius says.
Regulus gives Sirius a look. “What about Remus?” He asks.
“James told me that Lily heard something that you guys were talking about today in the library.” Sirius says.
“Are you having your friends spy on is and listen in on our conversations? I am not after Remus if that is what you are thinking. He is my best friend.” Regulus says, annoyed thinking that Sirius is going to try and accuse him or Remus of something.
“I know you aren't. I know that you guys are just friends, and no I don't have people spying on you guys. Lily overheard it when she was at the library getting books.” Sirius says.
“Overheard what?” Regulus asks.
“You and Remus talking about how it bothers him that I talk to and flirt with girls to keep my cover of being straight. I wanted to know if you guys were actually talking about it.” Sirius says.
“I can't tell you. It's not my place to say.” Regulus says.
“Come on Reggie. I need to know, and you know as well as I do that Remus won’t admit it if I ask him. I don't want to do something that hurts him.” Sirius says.
Regulus sighs. “Ok, I will tell you, but if Remus finds out you had better take the blame. He will think I confront you, so you need to tell him the truth of how you found out.” He says.
“I will. I won't say anything that will make him mad at you.” Sirius says.
“Yes, it bothers and upsets Remus. He understands why you aren't ready to come out. He knows you aren't going to leave him for any of them, but it still bothers him and makes him sad to watch you flirt with them.” Regulus says.
Sirius puts his head in his hands. “I am such an idiot.” He says.
“Yes, you are.” Regulus says.
“I need to do something to make this up to Remus.” Sirius says.
“You could just stop flirting with the girls. That would probably be enough for him.” Regulus says.
“No, I need to do something more than that.” Sirius says .
“What are you going to do?” Regulus asks.
“I don't know yet, but I will figure it out.” Sirius replies.
That night Sirius lay awake in his bed trying to figure out how to make it up to Remus for how he hurt him. Then he comes up with the perfect idea of what to do. He isn't going to tell anyone about his idea, not even James, because he doesn't want someone to accidentally tell Remus.

~Playoffs Finals ~
~ Remus' POV ~
Remus is sitting in the stands with Regulus to watch the hockey finals. Lily had asked him if they wanted to sit with her and the other players' girlfriends, but Remus told her no. Remus was excited to see how the finals turned out. He was hoping that they won. Winning would look really good to the college scouts, and Remus knew Sirius really wanted to earn a hockey scholarship.
It is the third period of the finals. Their team is up by two points and there are five minutes left in the game. Remus has his fingers crossed. Their team is so close to winning.
The opposing team gets the puck and is headed for their goal. He takes a shot and the goalie blocks it no problem. As soon as the goalie knocks the puck back out James is there and he gets the puck and starts skating towards the opponents goal. When he gets close to the goal he hits the puck to Sirius; who takes the shot. He easily gets it past their goalie. There is only a few minutes left in the game, so all they have to do is keep the other team from scoring.
Remus watches as the timer counts down. The buzzer sounds and everyone around cheers as they are announced the winners. Everyone on the team drops their gloves, helmets, and sticks and rushes to their goalie, and they all hug.
Then they shake the other team’s hands. After that the officials come out onto the ice to present the trophy. The whole team skates around the rink taking turns lifting the trophy above their heads. Then they take pictures together of the whole team with the trophy.
Remus can't stop smiling as he watches all of this. He is so happy for Sirius, and he is so proud of him.
After they finish taking the pictures they bring news cameras in to interview the different players. Remus and Regulus are standing watching the interviews. First they interview James and he thanks his teammates and his parents for always supporting him. He also thanks Lily for all her support.
The next player they interview is Sirius. Remus can't believe it when he hears Sirius thank him. When the reporter asks about his biggest supporters Sirius tells her his teammates, his best friend, his brother, and his boyfriend are his biggest supporters, and how he is happy to finally be able to say out loud that Remus is his.

~ Sirius' POV ~
They are so close to winning the finals. It is the third period and they are up by two points. All they have to do is keep the other team from scoring. Even if they don't score another goal they can still win.
The other team tries to score, but the goalie, Benjy, has no issue with blocking the puck. He knocks the puck back down and James quickly gets it and heads for the opponents goal. Sirius follows him ready in case James hits the puck to him. When they get close to the goal it is obvious that James can't make a clear shot. He hits the puck to Sirius who can easily make the shot. Sirius smacks the puck into the opponents goal scoring another point. Now all they have to do is run out the timer.
Everyone cheers when the buzzer sounds. Sirius throws down his gloves, helmet, and stick just like the rest of his teammates and skates towards their goalie Benjy. They all collide with him and hug him in celebration. After they are done they shake hands with the other team and tell them good job. Then the officials come out onto the ice to present them with the trophy. The team skates around the ring, each of them taking their turn holding the trophy above their heads. Then they have to take pictures as a team.
When they are all done taking pictures a report comes up and says she wants to interview James and Sirius since they are the co-captains. While James is being interviewed Sirius plans out what he wants to say. He knows he wants to say something about Remus and how important he is to him.
After the reporter is done interviewing James she walks over to interview Sirius. Out of the corner of his eye Sirius can see Remus standing with Regulus watching him being interviewed.
“Ok, Mr. Black same question as Mr. Potter. Is there anyone you would like to personally thank for your win today?” She says.
“Yes there is. First off I would like to thank my teammate. They have always been there for me and supported me. Then there is my best friend and co-captain James. He has always been one of my biggest supporters. As well as my brother Regulus. Though none of them are my biggest supporter. That position goes to my boyfriend Remus. He has been my biggest supporter since we started dating over a year ago, and I haven't been fair to him. I have made him keep our relationship a secret, because I was afraid of what others would think. Well I am done doing that. I love him and I want everyone to know it.” Sirius says.
The reporter thanks Sirius and walks over. As soon as she is gone Sirius makes his way over to Remus. He pulls Remus into a kiss. Remus wraps his arms around Sirius and kisses him back.
“You didn't have to do that.” Remus says.
“Yes, I did. I wanted everyone to know you are mine. I told you I would come out after the playoffs.” Sirius says.
“I know, but I thought you meant to the people in school. I didn't think you meant on the news like that. What about the college scouts? They will all see that you came out as gay.” Remus says.
“I don't care what they see, or what they think. If they don't want me because of who I love then that is their loss. You matter more to me than the stupid college scouts. I love you.” Sirius says.
“I love you too.” Remus says, kissing Sirius.
Sirius wraps his arm around Remus and pulls him closer deepening the kiss. They break the kiss and Sirius leans down a bit putting his forehead against Remus'.
“I love you so much my Moonbeam.” Sirius says.
“I love you too my Bright Star.” Remus says.
