Kurara: *snoring* "Nozomi...." "Nooooo. Stoppp haha stoppppp."
*Yaaaaawwwwwnnn*
".... Huh...? OW!" Suddenly, a girl yelps in pain. She must have hit her head on something.
Kurara: "Where... Am... I?"
Kurara: "Is this... A boat??"
After getting up, Kurara gets the fright of her life when....
DARUMI from The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy pops out in front of her!!
Darumi: "Oh hey! You finally woke up, Cutie!"
Kurara: "EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK"
Kurara's mask then launches dramatically far behind her.
Okay, that might have deafened Darumi, but let's continue!
Darumi: "Whoa, whoa, princess, frightened much?"
Kurara: "W-what are you doing here!? A-and where are we!?"
Darumi: "Well... You might wanna see this.." then Darumi pointed forward.
That's when Kurara saw...
A massive sea, water waving around as far as the eye could see.
Kurara was left in shock and couldn't say anything. Until finally..
Kurara: "How... How did this happen..."
Darumi: "Don't know, but I pinched my arm and everything, so I think we're stuck here until our bodies rot to skeletons!"
Kurara: "Creep... Don't say that. There has to be a way to get to some land..." (Wait, why am I so calm talking to this psycho!?!? Ughhhh, I think this situation has fried my brain...)
Darumi: "Hm? A green bag? Maybe there's some stuff in it-" and as soon as Darumi touched the green bag... "YEEOWCHHH"
Kurara: "What was that!?"
Darumi: "Shit.. ow. I touched this green bag and got... zapped? Isn't that a thing for dogs? Why was it so painful?" Darumi winces again.
Kurara: "Pfft. It's because it just needs the Oosuzuki Touch! " And as Kurara touched the green bag..
It didn't zap her.
Kurara: "Wha- Yup! Just as I expected!"
Darumi: "Whoa! You've gotta teach me how to do that one day, Kurara!"
Kurara: "Is your last name Oosuzuki? Didn't think so."
Darumi: "Well..."
Kurara: "Well, what swine!?"
Darumi: "Nothing, nothing. Anyway, you should see what's in that mysterious green bag!"
* Darumi pretends to gag* "I think I smell something dead in it..
Kurara ignores Darumi, but she opens the green bag to find...
A blue bag...? How peculiar indeed! But there's also something else... A fishing rod..! And a... harpoon gun! Huh.
Hohoho! Not bad indeed!
Kurara: "A fishing rod, huh? I've never used one of these before, but it could still come in handy."
Darumi tilts her head: "I thought the great Kurara Oosuzuki would have mastered something as simple as fishing already."
Kurara scoffs: "Well, I was doing other, much more important things in my life, things you wouldn't get... pig."
Darumi: "A pig again? You've really lost your edge at this, huh, Kurara?"
Ahh!! Enough banter, you two! Get to escaping this sea!
Darumi picks up the harpoon gun "I've got a feeling this bad boy is gonna be better than that old fishing rod."
Darumi: "Let's try this gun out!!" Then Darumi aimed and shot at the water
Kurara: "Wait!!"
Then suddenly...
A big bass fish called a bass flopped on the boat!
Darumi: "Kyohoho! This big fellow could definitely feed us for days!"
Kurara: "Yeah, raw fish, very filling."
Darumi snickers
Kurara: "So..."* sighs* "Darumi, should we open the bag now?"
Darumi: "Oh sure. I'll open this one too; can't have your soft hands getting ruined..."
Kurara scoffs and looks away
Darumi touches the blue bag... And... Opens the bag successfully.
Darumi: "Yuppers! Two times the charm? Second times the charm!"
Darumi: "Wait... Green bag for Kurara and blue bag for Darumi... Ohhhhhhhh. Clever.."
Kurara: "Ahh! Just shut up, runt! What's inside the bag!?"
Darumi: "Feisty much? Sorry, this runt will now open the bag for Ms. Kurara!"
Darumi puts her hand inside the bag and takes out a... Box?
Darumi: "It says... Portable Boat Jet Boost, oooh, how convenient."
Kurara: "Why wouldn't that already be attached!?! Never mind. Give it here, peasant."
Darumi moves the Portable Boat Jet Boost away while still carrying it.
Darumi: "And why would I do that? I don't recall you sharing any of YOUR items!"
Kurara: "You're just making stuff up now!"
Darumi: "Fine, I'll give it on one condition."
Kurara: "What could it possibly be?"
Darumi: "If we make it to land safely, let's do a horror movie date, you and me."
Kurara almost shrieks: "You CREEP! I knew I should have knocked you in the ocean when I first woke up!"
Darumi: "Awww, but how could you injure such a beautiful face like mine?" Darumi pushes up her smile with her fingers.
Kurara: "Just watch!"
Kurara starts spinning her arm, slowly increasing in speed. But as it almost reaches top speed...
Darumi bends closer to Kurara and closes her eyes.
Kurara: "What a-are you doing...?"
Darumi: "Just... Resting my eyes, I guess. You don't mind, do you?"
Kurara: "That's fine. Really fine.. It just makes it easier for me to smack you into day 100!"
Darumi: "...........Huh? Day 100...... The Last Defense Academy!! *Cough, cough* Wait, how did we get here when we were just at the school? Was this a commander?"
Kurara winds down her arm. "Wha-... Actually... you're right."
Darumi: "Does that mean that our teammates are in danger? I think we should hurry up! Here, get this booster thing or whatever!!
Kurara whispers: "What an interesting girl"
Darumi: (???)
Kurara picks up the Portable Boat Jet Boost and the instructions.
"Flip this switch, turn on this button, and pull this lever". One by one, Kurara followed the steps until the Portable Boat Jet Boost was powered up. After a tired sigh, Kurara put the Portable Boat Jet Boost on the outside of the boat.
Darumi: "Working up a sweat already, huh, princess? Maybe you won't be able to handle my date after al-"
Kurara: "Quiet, pup."
Darumi: "P-pup?? Ohoho... I'll quiet down now.."
Kurara: "Good.."
Darumi: "Wait a minute. Which side did you put it o-"
VRRRRRMMMMMMM
And then suddenly... They were going in the opposite direction.
East, west, south, north, east, north, north
Until Darumi saw... Some sort of island in the far-away distance.
Darumi: "There! There's some precious land!"
Thankfully, the boat seemed to be going directly to the island.
Until both of them heard a click sound.
It was a Mystery on what it was, until... The boat slowed down.
Kurara: "W-what!? Now you slow down, piece of sh- junk!"
Vrm vrm vrm... Slowly but surely, the boat started moving again.
Darumi: (Should I say something? No, obviously not, but...)
Darumi: "Kurara.. I've got to ask an important question.."
Kurara: "If it's anything weird, I'm not gonna answer it"
Darumi: "How would a dog wear pants?"
Kurara: "Okay, it's just dumb, as expected. Well, I think, no, I KNOW that dogs would wear pants on their back legs!"
Darumi nods "I agree. Can you change my pan-"
Kurara: "No!"
Darumi: "Fine.."
After a bit of silence...
Darumi, in a disappointed tone: "Anyway, Kurara, you really do act the same without your mask on, huh?"
Kurara: "What are you talking about now?" Kurara reaches for her face. "Nobody has seen me without my ma-" ..... "W-what...?"
Kurara yelps, "Weirdooo!! When did y-you take off my mask!! Answer this second or t-this is the last thing you'll see!!" Kurara tries to desperately hide her face.
Darumi: "Whoa, whoa, I didn't take off your mask. It was off from the very beginning. Y'know, when you got so scared you almost tripped into the sea!
Kurara stops for a second "The beginning...?"
It's almost like Kurara's 5'3 (159 cm) self realized something...
Kurara looks off into the sea and says
"How did I not notice.."
Darumi: "Am I interrupting something? I think you just got scared so bad you forgot."
Kurara, surprisingly calm, says: "No... my mask has flown off multiple times before, but at most I notice my mask is missing after a few minutes. Never 2 or whatever amount of hours it's been since we've been on this boat"
Darumi also realizes something
(Kurara must be getting accustomed to me, due to being forced to be here. I need to ruin this.... for her.)
Darumi: "Ahh well, it must just be your Paranoia or something Girl. I think the sea has made you gone crazyyy."
Kurara: "I don't think so. I haven't had alone time with anyone that wasn't from the Second-to-Last Defense Academy. I mean, this wasn't so bad. I.. thought you would be worse.
Kurara: "I was just... Mean to you, Again and Again but you seemed to deal with it... unlike the others."
Darumi: (Shit, what the hell?? I can't stop this girl! What can I do? Hm... No, too far, hmm maybe but still too far, yes! That's it.. Mean enough to get her to stop talking to me, but also not mean enough for her to kill me when we get back.."
Darumi tries to speak. "Hey, Kurara"
Kurara slowly turns around but tries not to make eye contact.
Darumi: "Sorry, Queen, but I lied about everything here!"
Kurara: "Huh? About what?"
Darumi: "Y'know... the thing I said... The o-, uhh the g-g, y'know?"
Kurara: "I don't know, that's why I'm asking."
Darumi: "Why can't I say anything? I clearly know what I was gonna say. Can I really not think of a Lie?"
Darumi: "Oh oops looks like you didn't hear it! You can forget about it now!"
Kurara seems confused but does indeed seem to forget about Darumi's weird acting.
Kurara looks at Darumi with a confused look. Grabbing Darumi's attention.
Darumi: "D-Don't look at me like that?"
Kurara stares even harder: "Don't look at you like what?"
Darumi looks away, embarrassed: "Oh, hey, look over there! We've almost made it to land! Hopefully we can call for help too, heh."
Kurara: "Oh hey you're right. I suppose this wasn't so bad, though. We got pretty lucky, especially if this is actually land."
Darumi: "Yeah. Very lucky indeed. Can I have a spot?"
Darumi tries to fit in next to Kurara to watch behind the boat as they slowly go forward.
Eventually, Oosuzuki goes to the edge of the boat to jump to the land, but Oosuzuki holds out a hand for Amemiya; Amemiya accepts. Then they both jump to the land, and as soon as they touch it...

Darumi wakes up and wipes her eyes. Expecting to see her bed but instead...
She wakes up in the VR room. Even more surprisingly.. She sees everyone else.
Before Darumi can process a thought to say.
Sirei starts speaking..
Sirei: "Amemiya! Oosuzuki! You two are incredible!!"
Kurara: "Hm? Okay, okay, I'll wake up... Just give me a second da- WOAWOAH!!" Kurara is suddenly pulled by Sirei to stand.
Sirei fixes his bowtie and starts to fake cry: " *Sniff* They all doubted me and my grand idea. But who's laughing now!? Hah! Hah! Hah!"
Someone else starts speaking... Takumi
Takumi: "But I thought we all agreed to do this id-"
Sirei: "Shush, Sumino! Thanks to these 2 wonderful Student Defense Academy members, now you can all see.... That you can all get along!"
Darumi: (Wait, what? That was a... VR mission to make me and Kurara get along? That's... That's... I guess that's fine; Kurara will probably never forgive Sirei and, by proxy, me.")
Kurara seemed to fully wake up despite standing. "Where am I? I was just at a..." Kurara stops, then tries to touch her mask, which is indeed on her this time. Looks like she heard everything that Sirei said somehow.
Kurara: "Alright! Which one of you put me in that situation!?"
Darumi could tell that Kurara was pretending to be mad.
Gaku: "It was all Sirei's fault!! He forced us to do this!"
Darumi (Nobody even pressured you, dude)
Takemaru: "Yeah, Sirei went into all of our rooms besides you two girls to tell us some genius idea he had. Some exercise to show us that we can all get along if you two also could. Some power in numbers shit."
Kyoshika: "He really should give a warning next time! He caught me at a very... Unfortunate time."
Ima: "it was rather a simple idea, really. But I didn't mind what happened as long as my dear sister was safe and sound.
Kako: "Oh come on brother dearest I definitely could have escaped that!"
Yugamu: "I've got to say, Hiruko... That harpoon idea definitely tickled my fancy at least a bit."
Shouma is also crying for some reason; it might even be Your Turn to cry at this point.
Shouma: "*Sniff* The way that you two struck through every problem with the power of Friendship like it was nothing reminded me of how nobody would be friends with me."
Darumi: (a lot of talking, huh? This might have a decent word count)
Kurara: "You all are being so overdramatic; we just did what we had to in order to survive."
Darumi: "Can I take my leave now?" *Stretch* "That kinda took all of my energy. I think I hear my bed calling my name actually."
Darumi started walking to the door until she heard footsteps behind her... Someone grabbed her arm. Of course... It was Kurara
Kurara: "What are you doing leaving so early?"
Darumi: "More like what are YOU doing!?" Darumi tries to shake Kurara's hand to no success.
Kurara: "Did you really forget? You promised me."
Darumi: "Promised you wha- oh." (The horror movie date, one of the stupidest things I've said. Especially because it's a problem I have to deal with now.)
Darumi: "Oh yeah, that! That was just a joke, y'know? Like a jo-"
Kurara: "Hmph. But if I really accept it as the truth, is it really a joke?"
(Huh?) Darumi is so dumbfounded that she somehow becomes embarrassed.
Darumi: "You're funny, Kurara. You know the kind of movies I watch? They're not just norma-"
Kurara: "Yeah, yeah, movies where people get brutally eaten alive to shape a big monster that repeats the cycle to get bigger. Another one is of people being murdered in brutal ways in a murder mystery."
Darumi: "You... Remember those things?"
Kurara: "Kinda hard to forget, but that and today at the boat made it kinda obvious what person you are."
Darumi: "You really want to go on that date? With me? You know that Noz-"
Kurara leans her face closer.
Darumi backs away "Whoa!!"
Kurara: "I wasn't going to kiss you, creep!"
Darumi rests her body
Kurara leans in closer to whisper in Darumi's ear.
"I think we will understand each other more; you're the first person to see me unmasked after all."
Darumi: (What a... Weird reason)
Darumi: "So uh, you want to go on a date now?"
Kurara: "Hmm, no. I think tomorrow would be better...
Ms. Darumi"
Kurara lets my hand go and walks out of the room. Leaving me standing there awkwardly.
Despite being embarrassed, I looked at the crowd. Most of them looked shocked, 1 looked like he was- never mind. But 2 people looked different, perhaps... Sad? They happened to be Nozomi and Hiruko. Hiruko notices my gaze and looks away.
Darumi also walks out of the room, still absolutely lost. I also make sure to pinch myself... Again. After a bit of walking, that's when I see Kurara on the rooftop without her mask.
Darumi: (Kurara looks... Embarrassed?)
Kurara: "Did I really just do that? I'm so dumb; obviously she was just joking, and I made a fool out of myself, acting so weird." Kurara kicks a rock that somehow got up there.
I gets closer to Kurara and sits down next to her.
Darumi: "... Who was joking?"
Kurara looks surprised, but I think she knew our story would make me end up here.
Kurara: "Darumi.. You actually want to go on a date... With me?"
Darumi: "Of course, Princess! How could I turn down a Beautiful, smart, talented, strong girl? And that's just the short version of it."
I reach out my hand; Kurara accepts it.
Kurara laughs and wipes her eyes from the tears that have already formed.
"I can't believe *sniff* some stupid VR mission did this."
Darumi: "I mean, it worked, didn't it?"
"We really did escape the sea.."
Kurara: "Really? That's how you're ending this?"
Darumi and Kurara look up at the sky, only seeing the same usual boring blue sky, but they both know it's different... Knowing that they have something important for the future.
