Work Text:
"This guy is stupid on god."
Another harsh beep echoed in the small street of the single floored red building. Seven's house always looked abonded the way all the black roman blinds are always shut off and not a single light comes through them no matter the hour. Yoosung does know that Seven always lives in his basement and occasionally visits his triple floored garage buried underground but still, can't he just give some sign that hes not visiting an empty house every time he calls Yoosung over?
"Please spell E-L-L-Y L-O-V-E-S 7-0-7 in Arabic backwards for entering!"
"S-E-V-E-N I DO NOT KNOW ARABIC!" Yoosung helplessly shouts. Helpless like a house cats who escaped willingly and still begging to be let in at three a.m. Except he was specifically summoned by Seven for whatever bullshit he prepared for them this time.
Today was thursday and around 7 p.m., new LOLOL patch was about to drop and he was supposed to raid the new boss with his guild. But here, 5 p.m., Seven told him to come over for a very special mission he needs help from Yoosung. Bullshit. Is there anything that guy can't do alone? Why does he need him on such a special occasion!
Another buzz from the door made him fish out his phone from his pocket before he got the chance to hear an insult that's generated for Yoosung specially. He only caught his own name and face palmed as Seven's phone started to ring.
One, two, three... Is he gonna pick up? He picked up at seventh ring just as Yoosung was about to hang up. He definitely did that on purpose. Asshole.
"How can Defender of Justice may assist you today, my dearest Yoosung?!" Seven picked up enthusiastically. This guy has to be joking, he probably is.
"I'M AT YOUR DOOR SEVEN OPEN UP!!"
The phone hung up in a milisecond as some hustling was heard from the house. Is the surface floor not soundproofed like the basement? Yoosung never noticed.
Seven opened the door with a long, blonde wig that's almost reaching knees. He's not wearing his funky glasses like usual, what's usual about this look anyways. He has big, thick caterpillar lashes on one of his eyes with some heavy blue glittery eyeshadow. The other eye was naked making him look a little crazy. His red lipstick was overlined in a way that's absurdly funny. He was wearing a short black dress that looks like silk. Did he shaved his legs? Even though his manly shoulders look funny with thin dress straps his slim arms still gives him that feminine look somehow.
"Seven what the fuck?!"
Yoosung took a look inside and spotted Vanderwood in the background with some paint brushes. Well, make up brushes but what does Yoosung know about the difference between them anyways.
"We're going undercover today my Yoosungie!" He added a wink with his made up eye. Okay now he has to be joking for sure...
"What are you talking about? I don't wanna be a part of your drag queen adventures, NO!!"
He didn't have much time to finish his sentence as he was dragged by hand into the house and pushed down on a couch.
"Toooday our make up artist is Ms. Vanderwood and she is dolling us up for our fun little adventure! And YOU! Yes, you heard it right babe, YOU, Yoosung! Will be helping me with your gorgeous body and we're gonna get this fun time over with our gorgeous, gorgeous costumes!!! Look I even picked out a nice purple dress and a black wig to pop out your beautiful purple eyes!"
"I-"
No use in the loss of breath honestly, this guy does not know how to take no for an answer and he already walked into that trap by coming here anyways. Yoosung accepts his fate as he sits up straight on the couch.
"Can we at least turn some lights on? It's getting dark."
"Whatever you want Ms. Yoo-Jin!" Seven exclaimed cheerfully as he reached for the light button. White fluorescent lit up the room to make his sight more clear.
"Seriously? That's what we're doing today? Don't you dare sell me out as a prostitute?!"
Seven laughed at that a little longer than what seemed safe. He has to say goodbye to his hopes of spending the night with his guild members.
"Okay now sit down and stay still okay?" Vanderwood told him as he approached. "What are you even eating kid? How am I supposed cover all your pimples with some foundation? I thought this redhead was bad."
He felt Vanderwood spread some creamy liquid on his face with a soft brush and he flinched up. He received a smack on his head.
"Stay still or you kids are not gonna make it in time!"
Yoosung laid his head back uncomfortably and closed his eyes. Vanderwood seems to know what he's doing. He thought about how many times Seven had dressed up like this. Everytime Yoosung learns something new about Seven's job the image he has in his mind about the redhead gets darker.
While the blonde is trying to stay still for 'Ms. Vanderwood', he hears shuffling throughout the room. Seven is trying finish his own make up, sitting criss cross in front of a body lenght mirror. He was painting his naked eye a matching sky blue color with a small brush and applying glitter on top of it. Lashes are a whole different thing but he somehow manages to not glue shut his eyelids, he must've done this before.
While Yoosung isnt watching, Seven brought the long purple dress into the room with a black wig. Wig was a little longer than shoulder length with curtain bangs that will surely make Yoosung's face smaller. The purple dress had a color that's a little on the darker side, matching with Seven's, just ankle length version. Are they twinning on this?
Vanderwood shifts from his place from back of the couch, walks in front of Yoosung.
"Okay kid, now look at me straight and dont close your eyes, got it?"
Yoosung shook his head as a yes but then facepalmed himself for shaking his head at the command if staying still. It's okay, agent isn't mad.
Vanderwood pulled out a pen and opened the lid. Yoosung started sweating when the agent held him by his chin and brought his face closer. Panic in his eyes died down as the other guy pointed the brush pen on his eyes and start drawing a line. It's Yoosung's first time wearing eyeliner, it feels heavy on his eyelids with all the eyeshadow and foundation. His entire face, well not itching, but is feeling weird. It feels like using one of those overnight face creams Zen gave him to put on his face. He gave up on them on the thrid night because he didn't like the feeling. If he didn't like that feeling even while sleeping how is he going to bear with it all afternoon, possibly night, having it all over.
As Vanderwood finishes his other eye, his eyes felt sleepy. This is so unbearable. He wondered how Candy is wearing all that make up every day is she not bothered by this much... stuff?
"Hey kid, do you think you can handle false lashes? Okay nevermind, you don't seem like you can."
Yoosung let out a relieved sigh. Before he knew it he heard a 'Close your eyes.' and got sprayed with some... Is this deodorant? Is it supposed to go on your face??? Is this normal???
"Don't worry it's fixing spray. It'll make the make up stay fresh, yeah? Now I'll put some mascara on you, it clumps down if you apply it before spray. Don't close your eyes I won't hurt you."
He tried to stay still, he did, he swears. But a small brush getting that close to his eye scared him so bad he pulled himself back a few inches. Vanderwood sighed.
"Why don't you got to that mirror over there and tried to apply it yourself, I'll walk you through it, yeah?"
Yoosung nodded as he was handed a small stick. 'Better than sex' it says. It says what- Nevermind... It's a lash... thing..? Massachusetts or whatever... Who cares.
He walked over to the long mirror to face himself. Seven was gone somewhere in the house, who knows where again. He took a good look in the mirror at himself. He was a feminine looking man in the first place, this make up with black smoky eye and violet lipstick sure did make him look even more feminine than he already did before. Little bumps on his cheeks were still visible, sure, but they were blurred out with the foundation Vanderwood applied and and pink blush on his cheeks made him look... pretty? Worst part is that he doesn't hate it. He's a man, he was born as one, isn't he supposed be opposed to looking like this?
He didn't have much time to think as Vanderwood held him by the chin again, this time making him face the mirror.
"Okay, so you're supposed to look down so face upwards a little... Just like that yeah. Now catch your eyelashes by the roots with the brush and... Hey kid don't be scared, women do this every day and no one has died of some face paint yet."
It sounds quite simple. Paint ur lashes. No big deal. It is big deal. Theres this huge brush going almost inside your eye and he has never been scared of a brush until this very moment.
"Okay sorry I got this..."
He got it this time. The brush held his lashes from the roots and he pulled it upwards. He took another look in the mirror and... His lashes look thicker and bigger. He did it!
"Atta boy. Curl the brush while pulling it upwards so it'll look better."
He followed Vanderwood's instructions and finally got it right. Twice more and he was proud if himself for making it right. The agent instructed him to the other eye the same. Yoosung had long, thick, black lashes that look just like... a woman's... He doesn't hate it. Thinking back at Zen's stage make up, he probably does the same. There's nothing wrong with it actually.
"I'm pretty sure Seven can help you with the rest of it. I'm taking a smoke break outside, don't make a mess."
Vanderwood left the room without letting the young man answer. Seven wasn't around either. He called out for the redhead to see whatever his faith has for him next.
Seven came out of the bathroom with fixed make up and lipstick this time and holding some hair clips. He was holding a long black wig with him.
"Look Yoosungie! This is yours! You're gonna look sooo cute in it I promise! Oh, you already look very pretty! Never thought I would get to see you like this!"
"Seven. You put me in this how do you not expect to see me 'like this'???"
Seven giggled as he approached with the black wig that looked like a dead possum in his hands. He clipped Yoosung's hair back with a bunch of clips that made his head feel heavier than it already is.
It didn't take much long since his hair was already a very short cut. his bangs were drawn back with a bunch of clips and his entire face felt naked without them covering most of his forehead. Then there comes the wig. He can't see himself but it already feel unfamiliar. He tried to think about it as some cosplaying activity, which he has never done either, but it made it feel a bit more natural.
Seven took a few minutes to adjust the black wig, thank god it had bangs. Unfamiliar ones but still bangs. His face is not as naked as before. Seven fixed a few more thing in the wig and clipped a few more clips to keep it in place. How many does one need to keep these stuff intact. His head already started aching due to all that weight on his head and he has to wear this for how long...
"Here! Take look Yoosungie you look so so pretty! I would've mistaken you for a real woman if I wasn't the one putting you in that!"
Seven turned yoosung to the big mirror by his shoulders and he did in fact looked like a real woman. Long black hair and nicely done make up. If it wasnt for his is striped shirt and ugly brown pants he could definitely pass as one. Maybe even in them? That's a problem that will be solved with the purple dress that was shown in his hands by the redhead.
"Here you go! Go put this on in the bathroom and come back. Don't worry I'll zip you up!"
Seven told him with a wink and he was shown into the huge bathroom of the house as the door closed begind his back.
In bathroom light, his face was more clear than ever. He took his time to admire Vanderwood's work for a moment. That guy sure knows what he's doing. He gently touched the no longer red bumps on his face to see the soft texture. Then he decided to put the dress on as fast as possible before ruining the make up.
He could see himself undressing on the bathroom mirror. Down to his boxers he was reminded of his dick. Is doing all these is okay for a man? His body is soft, not much hair in any place except his crotch which will be covered by the dress anyways. He has some leg hair but the dress seem to be long enough to cover that. Maybe this won't be as obvious as he thinks.
He heard a harsh knock on the door.
"Putting a dress is not so hard kid, come out already!"
Vanderwood is back. He stopped questioning his existence to avoid the older man's wrath and stepped into the purple dress. He tried to adjust the straps but it wasn't much of a use without the zip.
"Hey, uhhh... Can someone zip me up? I can't believe I'm saying this."
The door was shut open by Vanderwood. He was mumbling something in a foreign language angrily.
"Come on or you both will be late and all this commotion will be all in vain."
He quickly zipped up Yoosung's dress and dragged him out without letting him see the result.
"Ohh!!! Ms. Yoo-Jin is looking very pretty tonight I can't wait to take her out!"
While Vanderwood and Seven were fussling with some handbags in the background, Yoosung caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. The 'lady' sure doesn't seem anything like Yoosung himself except his lavender eyes. Seven was right, they do pop out very well in this outfit. Or maybe it's because that's the only thing that has left of himself by now.
"Here! Small handbag and you can hang it over your shoulder!" Seven came over and handed him a bag. His voice has changed. He was using some light feminine voice that somehow resembles Seven but not quite. You could definitely mistake it for a girl's anytime.
"You can put your phone in there but make sure it's on silent so it wont break the character. I also put a pepper spray, just in case! Who knows, maybe some guy will try to approach this cute lady and you might need it!"
He said it so casually it sent shivers down his spine. Where could they possibly be going in this... costume?
"Now hurry, both of you. Make it quick before anyone catches you, go!" Vanderwood pushed both of them out the door.
After the door closed after them Seven led Yoosung to his fancy red car. He opened the door for Yoosung like a gentleman... in that outfit? He doesn't question anything at this point. While Seven got in the car Yoosung spotted a huge backpack at the backseat with some wires. Probably some hacking equipment for whatever to come.
Seven closed the door and started the car. He left the garage so swiftly Yoosung only noticed when they were out in sunset air. He checked the time on car's screen, it's 18:47, he's definitely missing his game, whatever.
"Nooow my dear sister Yoo-Jin, we have around 20 minutes until we get there, and I want you to work on your female voice! You won't have to do much talking but at least be able to say your name and basic courtesy. We will be there for approximately half an hour. I want you to busy some man while I borrow some important USB, got it? It's simple, have small talk with them. Make stuff up. Tell them you're my sister and they will not ask too much about your background. If they do, tell them you're shy! They like shy women!"
Yoosung is more stressed now. He has to lie about his identity? He can't lie, he's bad at it! How is he supposed to come up with so much false information AND in a female voice?
"Hey, it's cool don't worry you got this. Now tell me your name."
"I uhh... My name-" He cleared his throat to soften up his voice. "My name is Yoo-Jin. I'm Seven's sister." He sounded like he was mocking a woman instead of acting like one, but it's a start.
"Hey! I'm not Seven, I'm Sang-Mi! You are my sister Yoo-Jin and I'm your older sister Sang-Mi. Again."
He cleared his throat again.
"I'm Yoo-Jin, and Sang-Mi is my sister! Nice to meet you!" Yoosung facepalmed himself so hard it was audible in the car. This is a huge nightmare and he will wake up soon, he hopes.
"Good! A little more work and you got this! Talk to me in that voice on the way, yeah? It'll be easy I promise!"
Yoosung is uneasy, sure. His huge heavy wig and the whole limelash on his face is making it harder to focus on mimicking that feminine voice and his identity crisis kicking in on top of that isn't helping much, but he's far too gone to go back now and he will try his best.
By the time they arrive to the huge glass building, his voice was, well not perfected, but in a way that's gonna work for sure. While Seven was walking around in tall heels, he got merciful with Yoosung and gave him flat shoes that don't hurt his feet.
"Yoo-Jin, dear, pull out your ID card from your purse, will you?"
Seven said cheerfully at the door, in front of some tall man in suit. Yoosung was not aware of a fake ID, he went through the small leather purse hanging from his shoulder to find a yellow card with a black and white photo. It does look like a real ID, on top of that, woman in the photo had a similar face and hair to Yoosung's cover up. Scary.
Seven swept away the card from his hands handed them over to the tall man. Yoosung was screaming inside and he was sweating like crazy even though he tried to play it cool. Suit man took a look at their photos and names. Longest ten seconds of Yoosung's life. He got a nod by the scary man and he let out the breath he was holding. He mumbled a small 'Thank you' in his female voice, he didn't notice he used that voice at all. Seven hit his shoulder playfully and grinned at him. He got this.
With the small courage from his early success, Yoosung relaxed a bit. He followed Seven around a little more comfortable than the entrance. They took the elevator for the second floor. Is it necessary to take the elevator for the second floor, can't they take the stairs?
There were two other man in the elevator with them. Both wearing suits in different shades of blue. One was an old, white haired guy with a red tie while the other was looking younger but balding worse than the other. Second guy was wearing a purple tie. He looked at Yoosung.
"Hi. Are you two together for the second floor event? We both are matching today hm?"
It took Yoosung a while to notice he was talking to him. He didn't even know this guy and he already started talking to him? Yoosung felt sick to his stomach, the guy talking to him made him feel assaulted, bad. Is this what women feel like?
Noticing Yoosung's restlessness, Seven caught up.
"Yes! She's my sister, Yoo-Jin! I'm Sang-Mi! We're here invited by Mr. Kim. He's so kind to let us attend tonight!"
Seven was natural at this for sure. How is Yoosung gonna match his pace?
"Oh well, I hope I can see you ladies around then. Now excuse me."
Everyone got off the elevator and Yoosung couldn't be more thankful. The entire floor was looking like a casual event, not like the RFA parties they've held. No fun decorations, just some tables around surrounded by different people, mostly in suits or party dresses. Just the right fit for their costumes. There was a small buffet mostly filled with wine and cocktails and some fancy looking snacks. Yoosung does not belong in a place like this, but he looked the part.
"Hey, Yoo-Jin, see those guys there? We're affiliated with them. I'm gonna have a small chat with them and then excuse myself to the bathroom. You continue the chit chat till I come back, I won't take long, I promise. Don't talk too much and don't let him touch you anywhere inappropriate, got it?"
Seven whispered the most parts and made Yoosung follow him to the table. Three guys were there. Purple tie was there. Shit. Along with him there was a blonde guy in a brown suit, his shirt was unbuttoned till his collarbones. Third guy looked foreign, probably European. He was in a black suit and a yellow tie. He was taller than everyone around. Seven approached them cheerfully.
"Hey Mr Kim! Hi again Mister, how is everyone doing tonight?" He was smiling wide, so casual as if nothing was off about him.
"Good evening Ms. Sang-Mi. I see you've made it. Who is the young lady with you?"
Fuckfuckfuck. Yoosung bowed his head as in greeting.
"I'm-" He cleared his throat. "Im Yoo-Jin. Excuse me, I'm kinda sick these days, my voice sounds a little weird." He lied. He did it. It's gonna be okay.
"Yes! She's my dear sister. I believe I've mentioned her before. She's quite shy, please don't ask her too much, she gets overwhelmed easily! But she's a good girl, never worry!"
Hearing the 'good girl' sent a shiver in Yoosung. What kind of talk is this.
Thank god Yoosung didn't have to talk too much as Seven carried a quick conversation for a few minutes. Yoosung only had to say a few words and nod along occasionally. These men are surely as creepy as Seven tried to warn Yoosung about. Their conversation about tehir wives and lovers disturbed Yoosung but he pretended it was some of his classmates talking. It didn't make it better but it eased the unfamiliarity.
"Excuse me gentleman, but I have to use the restroom real quick! You continue your conversation while I'm gone, yeah?"
Seven... Seven subtly hit Yoosung's hand and he vanished to somewhere back to the elevators. Yoosung was alone in a place where he knew no one, except maybe these three creepy man. As a girl.
"She's hot, isn't she? Blonde with yellow eyes. Hey Yoo-Jin, is her eyes real? They're so pretty to be natural." Blonde guy talked. Was he Mr. Kim? Probably.
Yoosung hesitated to answer. He was told to lie, sure, but should he lie about this? On top of that this is his first time talking without Seven's instructions.
"They are! My sister's eyes are very pretty..."
"God damn. She never mentioned having a boyfriend. Hey, you're his sister, what do you say, do I have a chance with her?"
The audacity. Is this normal for these guys? How is he supposed to answer that? That his sister has a dick and she's not even a woman?
"I... Uhh... She's single but I don't know..."
Good. Not too spesific, not too direct. Just a small 'I don't know'. Purple tie guy answered him.
"You both are very pretty. I'm pretty sure you would love to have a man like me, won't you?"
Yoosung was speechless at that. He shook his head as an answer. How does one answer this. He really wanted to run away from that table, hell, the entire building in fact, but Seven told him to wait and busy them. What could Seven be doing with these men.
"Sang-Mi was right, she's shy."
All three men laughed at that. Now he's being humiliated for rejecting a man that's probably older than his father?
Mr. Kim and purple tie kept asking questions for her but they didn't let her answer any, they answered their questions themselves. Not as sexual as before but sometimes their talk got so annoying Yoosung wanted to scream. European guy seem confused most of the time, probably not understanding their fluent Korean. They sometimes translated to English which Yoosung caught a few words thanks to his knowledge from his video games and Tripter memes.
Seven was right, he didn't need much talking, he wouldn't be able to even if he had to due to how overwhelmed he was. But Seven was wrong about that it wouldn't take too long.
"Hey, where's your sister darling? What does a woman do that long in restroom?"
They laughed at that too. Is that supposed to be a joke? He forced a smile to play along.
"Uhhh... I'll text her."
Yoosung fished out his phone from his purse. He... He couldn't open it. It was one of those weird woman purses where opening is like cracking a whole lock. His fiddling with his closed purse dragged their attention on him. Before anyone said anything he got it this time. Finally.
"Hey, you can't even open your own purse?"
Purple tie mocked him. Yoosung wants to punch him in the face for good but it's best to stay silent. He pulled out his phone and texted Seven, asking him about his whereabouts. Seven told him to wait a few more minutes. He's not making this easier.
"She's... fixing her make up!"
Yoosung said quickly. They seem to be buy it.
"Why do women need all that make up, you're just as beautiful without it."
European guy said. Maybe it's because we're not women? Yoosung almsot said it, almost.
Their conversation changed ways to women's too much make up and how it's 'fake' and 'rude' to hide their real faces. What do they know? Yoosung does not prefer much make up himself but why would he say anything, it's their choice.
Seven arrived soon. His knight in shining armour. Maybe his princess in shining armour let's say.
"Hi! I'm sorry I took so long but something important has came up! Our father summoned us for some family issue! We have to take our leave now or else he'll be mad! Can't make our father wait, can we?"
Seven announced with a wink the table and gripped Yoosung's hand hard.
"Let's go sister! Hope you gentlemen will have nice evening!"
"So soon? If it's family issue it must be important. I hope we will meet again, both of you."
Mr. Kim told Seven, but Seven has already dragged Yoosung away and got them both into elevators, almost running. This time they were both alone. Seven let out a huge sigh.
"Hey, thanks for covering up for me Yoosung.... How was it?"
Seven was tired. What did he do back there? He didn't brought his laptop but his purse seemed fuller. Maybe some documents and that USB he talked about?
"Seven. I'm NEVER doing ANYTHING with u EVER again."
Seven patted Yoosung on his shoulder as they got off. They retrieved their fake IDs back from the guy at the entrance, this time it was another guy. The walked back to car in silence and drove back. Long night, huh?
