“You sure you’ll be all right by yourself?” Katsuki asked, pausing in the doorway. Izuku smiled fondly as concerned red eyes swept over him once again, trying to pinpoint whatever was ailing his Omega. Izuku closed the distance between them, brushing a kiss across his husband’s cheek.
“I’ll be fine, Kacchan. I’m feeling better than the last few days, but I’ll still be taking it easy today. And I promise!” Izuku added quickly, knowing what the Alpha was going to say. “I’ll let you know if the nausea or dizziness comes back, so you can fuss over me to your heart’s content.”
“I don’t fuss, damn nerd,” Katsuki grumbled, pulling Izuku close to scent him one more time before finally stepping out of the apartment. “I’ll see you later Izuku.”
“Stay safe Kacchan! Love you!” The mumbled but no less genuine ‘love you too’ made Izuku feel all toasty and warm inside as he closed the door behind him. Leaning his forehead against the wood, he wished that was enough to get rid of the headache he’d been battling since yesterday. Izuku sighed, padding over to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water.
If he started feeling nauseous again, Izuku would let his Alpha know. But these random aches, plus the fatigue he’d dealt with the last couple weeks, was probably just a persistent flu. He couldn’t get in the way of Katsuki’s hero work, not for as long as these symptoms were staying. Besides he was used to pain, he could handle this.
Another spike of pain above his eye seemed to mock him, and Izuku grimaced as he took a sip of water. Relieved that his stomach had settled down for now, Izuku still pulled up the calendar on his phone. If there were any upcoming events, he may have to reschedule to be on the safe side. A little green heart caught his attention, the innocuous emoji causing him to freeze.
Raising his phone slightly, Izuku counted back from the current date to the emoji. A soft gasp left his lips as he realized he was a little over a week late for his Heat. Immediately, Izuku started to view his symptoms in a different light. Izuku pinched his lips between his fingers, his frantic thoughts eventually overflowing into actual words.
“I’ve definitely been more sensitive to certain smells…actually, I haven’t been able to eat some of my favorite snacks without issues. But sometimes I threw up in the evening, not just morning….was that really morning sickness then? I’ll have to ask my mom. Poor Kacchan, he’s been trying so hard to keep me fed when nothing would stay down. Normally I can’t get enough of his cooking, I should have realized I wasn’t just sick earlier. And I’ve been so tired, too tired to do anything when he’s done with his patrol, I feel so bad. I miss his touch too, but I’ve been so sore. But are all these aches because I might be pregnant, or did I get a really bad flu that just won’t go away? And--”
He was snapped out of his mumbling by a ping from his phone, and Izuku turned in a circle before huffing in exasperation and swiping to his messages app. It was a text from Katsuki, the Alpha asking how he was feeling. Fondness for his husband filled Izuku’s heart, and he couldn’t help teasing the other man in his response.
“I’m feeling fine Kacchan, nothing’s changed in the thirty minutes since you left.”
‘Well, that might not be entirely true,’ Izuku thought, looking at the calendar again. His phone pinged again, and Izuku laughed as he read the message.
“All right Deku, keep up the sass and I won’t make katsudon the next time you ask.”
Izuku rolled his eyes, knowing Kacchan could never deny him anything. Especially if he was under the weather. “Yes Alpha,” he added the emoji for blowing a kiss, and laughed again at the middle finger he got in response.
Now that he was snapped out of the spiral, Izuku knew what his next plan of action was. “Right,” he said, feeling a dizzying mix of excitement and nerves.

“Well,” Izuku said as he looked down at the pregnancy stick, the little positive sign going blurry as his eyes welled up with tears. “Guess now I know why I’ve been feeling so weird lately.” He placed it on the bathroom counter, alongside two other positive tests.
He was so glad that he had been feeling well enough to run to the pharmacy. Once the idea had been placed in his head, Izuku needed to know if it was true or not. He just hoped that the pharmacists hadn’t recognized him under the mask and beanie. He didn’t want rumors to start circulating that they’d seen the Symbol of Hope buying pregnancy tests. Another glance down provoked fresh tears to slide down his cheeks, and Izuku wet a cloth to pat under his puffy eyes.
Letting out a shaky breath, Izuku couldn’t stop the wet giggle that left his lips soon after. He was pregnant! He and Kacchan were going to have a baby, a pup to raise and nurture and give all of their love! Images swept through his mind: of a little boy with the same naughty smirk and blond locks as his sire, but cheeks adorned with freckles; or a little girl with beautiful red eyes, just as much of a chatterbox as her dam.
Izuku’s heart swelled with love at the thoughts, absentmindedly wiping tears from his cheeks. However they turned out, he knew that he and Kacchan would love them with all their heart. With a jolt, he realized the blond in question still didn’t know. Izuku grabbed his phone from the counter, opening his contacts before pausing with his thumb over Kacchan’s name.
This wasn’t something he wanted to say over the phone, as eager as he was to share the news. Izuku tapped his knee with the device, thinking about how he’d tell his mate. There wasn’t much time left until Kacchan would return from patrol, but as big as the news was, Izuku also felt that telling his Alpha didn’t need to be an extravagant event.
Izuku perked up, grinning as he grabbed the pregnancy tests, making his way to their kitchen. ‘I can’t wait to see Kacchan’s face!’ He thought giddily as he rummaged through their cabinets. Finding the item he wanted, Izuku could feel his cheeks stretching from the force of his smile, even as more tears threatened to fall.
‘Kacchan will have his hands full if our pup turns out to be a crybaby like me.’ The image of a fondly exasperated Katsuki holding the two of them close as they cried was as endearing as it was silly. On cue, the tears he’d been fruitlessly holding back rolled down his face, and Izuku couldn’t help but laugh softly.
Settling down on the couch, Izuku put on one of his favorite All Might movies after checking the time. Kacchan should be getting home soon, the thought making Izuku need to take a few slow breaths. Somehow Izuku managed to get distracted by the movie until the front door opening sent a shock of nerves through him once again.
“Izuku? I’m home. How are you feeling?” How Izuku got so lucky to have such a caring Alpha, he didn’t know.
Izuku prided himself in his ability to keep the tears out of his voice when he responded. “Welcome back Kacchan! I’m feeling much better. In fact, I’ve got a bun in the oven for you.” He bit back a grin in case the Alpha peeked into the living room first, but he heard footsteps quickly go to the kitchen.
“Nerd, what’d I say about taking it easy? Lucky you didn’t burn down the apartment,” came the grumbled response.
“Kacchan!” Izuku laughed, not offended because he knew his kitchen skills were lackluster. He waited with bated breath as he heard the sound of the oven door opening, and almost cracked at the silence that followed.
Slow footsteps made his heart rate skyrocket yet again, and he valiantly tried not to cry. It was a lost cause immediately, a sob bursting from his lips at the sight of his tough Alpha fighting back his own tears. In his hands was the tray he’d placed the tests on, each proudly displaying the symbol of a positive result. “Izuku?” Katsuki said softly, voice shaky with emotion. “Is this…?”
Izuku gave him a wobbly smile as his husband came over to sit on the sofa beside him. He took the tray with one hand, gently grasping Katsuki’s wrist to lead it over to his stomach. Looking into those beautiful red eyes, shimmering with rare tears, Izuku choked out, “I’m carrying our pup, Kacchan.”
The hand under his tensed, and then Izuku was hauled forward onto Katsuki’s lap, strong arms wrapped around his back and waist. A warm hand cradled his head, and Izuku nuzzled into the neck before him, sniffling around soft giggles. Sweet caramel floated around them, the scent of Katsuki’s happiness flooding the room. Those broad shoulders shook minutely and when he felt his own shoulder become damp, Izuku somehow managed to extract himself enough to catch his Alpha’s eyes again.
The moment green met red, Katsuki cupped Izuku’s cheeks and pulled him into a breathtaking kiss. When they finally broke apart for air, his Alpha pecked him once, twice, three more times on the lips before covering the rest of his face with more kisses. “Kacchan!” He laughed, though he allowed the other man to express his joy to his heart’s content.
“My - beautiful - Omega,” Katsuki said in between kisses, brushing away Izuku’s tears with his thumbs. Izuku leaned into the touch, nuzzling their noses together and smiling at the soft laugh that provoked from his Alpha. “How did I get so lucky to be loved by you?”
Izuku laughed wetly, surging up to capture Katsuki’s lips in another searing kiss. “I was just thinking the same thing. Kacchan,” he paused, swallowing thickly a couple times before whispering, “we’re going to be parents.”
“And I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone other than you by my side,” Katsuki replied, laughing fondly when fresh tears spilled from Izuku’s eyes. Izuku tilted his head up, and Katsuki readily gave his mate another kiss, then another, before whispering, “I love you Izuku.”
“I love you too Kacchan,” Izuku whispered back, snuggling in close as Katsuki arranged them more comfortably on the couch. Content to spend the evening in each other’s arms, and basking in the scents of their happiness.

The next few days passed in a whirlwind as they made the necessary doctor’s appointments, to get Izuku checked out properly. Their doctor was a nice middle-aged woman by the name of Safuku Ren, and they could rely on her professionalism to keep this a secret until they were ready. Even so, her excitement for them was revealed in the soft notes of honey and sweet jasmine that popped up throughout the appointment.
Dr. Safuku was very happy to answer all their questions, and let them know that Izuku was six weeks along. She typed away at the computer as the parents-to-be did the math, before they jolted at the realization that it had been their first anniversary. Izuku hid his face in his hands, his cheeks burning as he remembered the events of that night. Kacchan had been…particularly athletic, though Izuku couldn’t deny that he had stoked the flame with his begging for more.
Izuku tried to keep his face hidden when he felt calloused hands pulling at his wrists, already smelling the spicy undertone to Kacchan’s scent. No doubt the blond was incredibly smug that his performance that night had actually resulted in a pup, one of the many things Izuku had blurted out in the heat of the moment. “Come on baby, let me see those cute freckles.” Oh, how that soft voice from his Alpha made Izuku melt every time.
Trying to glare, despite his blush still burning full force, Izuku slowly lowered his hands. He met amused red eyes, pouting at the grin on that devastatingly handsome face. As if hearing his thoughts, his grin only grew before he swooped down to capture Izuku’s lips. “My amazing mate,” he whispered against Izuku’s lips.
“So mean, Kacchan,” he muttered petulantly as the Alpha went back to his seat.
Izuku turned back to his ever so patient doctor, before he heard Kacchan add, “Hey, I was just following instructions.”
He whipped his head back around, hissing out, “Kacchan!!” The blond just smirked back at him, so Izuku took a deep breath and looked back at Dr. Safuku apologetically.
Dr. Safuku only laughed good-naturedly at their antics, before handing them the necessary handbook and pamphlets that they would normally get at city hall. The fact that they were well-known pro heroes would have made the trip very difficult to complete without getting recognized. She also arranged to have a maternity badge sent to Izuku, which he would keep hidden for now. His status as the Symbol of Hope especially, meant that the moment a fan saw it, the news would spread like wildfire.
On that note, they did need to talk with their boss, Mirko, since Izuku would have to cut down on his patrols and eventually hero work altogether during his pregnancy. For now, the young couple kept up the story that Izuku was recovering from being sick. That he wouldn’t be able to handle the typical villains and areas that Deku was normally assigned.
Thankfully she was understanding, if a little skeptical, and Izuku laughed bashfully. To the chagrin of all his friends and family, he still had the habit of running headlong into a fight to help someone out, no matter what condition he was in. With another long calculating gaze at the two, making Izuku sweat while Katsuki sneered back at her, Mirko said she’d adjust things for Izuku.
Izuku laughed as the Rabbit Hero teased his Alpha about how smitten he was, since he’d requested to remain by Izuku’s side on the ‘easier’ patrols as well. “Aw, the great Dynamighty can’t stand to be away from his Omega?” She winked at Izuku, smirking as the blond fumed beside him.
“Give me a break ya damn bunny! I’m a good Alpha, so sue me!” He yelled, bristling when the words only made her laugh more.
Before this could get out of hand - as it had numerous times before with these two - Izuku placed a calming hand on Katsuki’s arm. “You don’t need to switch patrols Kacchan. I’ll be fine, and our citizens still need the Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight to look out for them.”
Kacchan visibly melted at his words, making Mirko laugh even louder, before flipping her off while dropping a kiss onto Izuku’s fluffy curls. “Fine, Deku. But you better call for assistance if you need it! And I mean it this time!”
“I promise Kacchan,” he said, raising up on his tiptoes to kiss the Alpha on the cheek.
Looking back at Mirko as Katsuki scented him while muttering ‘damn cute nerd’, Izuku felt a shock go through him at the knowing gleam in her eyes. Her eyes darted down quickly before meeting his again, and she grinned when Izuku somewhat frantically ushered the confused blond out the door.
“What the hell Izuku,” Katsuki said as he was pushed out the door, only relenting when Izuku muttered a quick, “I’ll tell you later.”
* * * * *
They decided to keep it their secret a little longer, before starting to tell others. But they also agreed that their parents had to be first, and a few weeks after learning of Izuku’s pregnancy, they knew it was time. They regularly had dinners together, either at their own apartment, at Inko’s or the Bakugo’s house, and they could tell their parents were getting suspicious of their behavior.
Just the other night, Izuku had felt ill at the scent of his mom’s cooking. He should have been able to brush it off as a lingering effect from being sick, but Katsuki had gotten nervous and might have snapped a little at Inko’s hovering. While that may be how the Bakugo’s communicated, he never spoke to his Auntie Inko like that. The air was a bit tense for the rest of dinner, and Izuku had caught a few glances between their parents afterwards.
Rather than let them figure it out themselves, Izuku and Katsuki agreed on finally letting them in on the secret. He called his Auntie Mitsuki one afternoon, and asked if they had time for a family dinner. “Oh of course sweetpea! We would love to have you over again, just tell that damn brat of mine to curb his temper! Poor Inko, he’s lucky she was so understanding of how protective he is.”
Izuku laughed, knowing that would only get worse as his pregnancy progressed. It would be a wonder if he was allowed to leave the house without Katsuki by his side by the end of this. But he wouldn’t change his husband for the world. “So we’ll see you around six?”
“Works for us, and I’ll be sure to let your dear mother know too. See you later Izuku!” Mitsuki said cheerfully, and Izuku let out a breath when she hung up. Just the thought of telling them was enough to make his nerves skyrocket, and Katsuki had to scent him to help calm him down.
Naturally, when it was time for them to leave for the Bakugo household, even his Alpha had a hard time hiding his excitement. Thankfully their scents didn’t seem to give too much away, just being a little stronger than usual. As they walked up to the front door, Izuku squeezed Katsuki’s hand, shooting him a shaky little grin. It grew a bit more genuine as Katsuki muttered, “We got this, nerd.”
Somehow, they managed to get through dinner without acting too suspiciously. Izuku didn’t feel any side effects either, although that would have been a good segue now that he thought about it. Oh gosh, what if they chicken out, and they actually leave without telling the news? No, there’s no way that would happen. They wanted to tell their parents about the pup, but it seemed the longer they took to say anything, the more his excitement turned sour with nerves. Oh why was this so hard? Why couldn’t he just say—?
“Izuku, you’re muttering again,” Katsuki whispered exasperatedly, and Izuku whipped his head up to see their parents watching him fondly. Turning towards Katsuki, he gaped at him, only sighing in relief when Katsuki added, “Don’t worry, we couldn’t understand what you were saying. Anything you wanna share with the class?”
Izuku looked back at his Auntie and Uncle, then his mom, cheeks flushing as his voice caught in his throat. He barely realized his vision was getting blurry until suddenly his face was cupped by warm hands, and he was turned to look back into soft, red eyes. “Hey, hey, don’t work yourself up baby. It’s all right, you want me to help you?” His wonderful mate whispered, and Izuku sniffled softly as he nodded.
“Now where was this soft Alpha the other day? Barking at sweet Inko when she was just caring for her son like you.” Mitsuki smirked as Katsuki flipped her off.
“Oh stop giving him a hard time, all is forgiven,” Inko said, patting Katsuki on the cheek and making Izuku coo at the light blush that appeared.
Mitsuki seemed ready to argue more, always ready to rile up her son, but Katsuki beat her to it. “Still Auntie, I'm sorry you had to deal with another Bakugo snapping at you over their Omega. I remember you telling me that you could hardly hug my dad when he was pregnant, without my mom getting all pissy.”
Izuku felt like his heart was going to burst out of his chest, carefully watching their parents' faces as Katsuki was speaking. His mom sat up straight, her own eyes filling with the trademark Midoriya tears as she seemed to see Izuku in a new light. Uncle Masaru was quick to follow, a smile steadily growing on his face as he looked between the two of them.
Auntie Mitsuki was busy defending herself, only cutting off when her husband gently laid a hand on her shoulder. “Honey,” he said simply, and it only took a few seconds of sharing his gaze before her head was whipping back towards the younger couple.
“Wait,” she said, a shaky hand going up to cover her mouth. “Is Izuku…?”
Izuku smiled widely despite the tears rolling down his cheeks, and said cheerfully, “Surprise! You’re going to be grandparents!”
Inko burst into tears, practically knocking her chair over in her scramble to get up. Izuku turned towards her as she circled the table and in a second was cradled against her chest. “Oh my baby is having a baby!” She sobbed, holding him tight. Izuku hugged her back, feeling a sense of relief now that their parents knew.
Peeking around his mom’s arm, Izuku smiled at the sight that greeted him. His Kacchan was squished between his parents, leaning into their touch despite the annoyed curl of his lips and crossed arms. “You’d better take care of Izuku’s every want and need, you hear me brat?”
Like mother, like son though. Her harsh tone instantly contrasted by how gently she scented Katsuki, running her fingers through his hair. Izuku’s smile grew as he watched how his Alpha relaxed at the feeling, even more so when Uncle Masaru scented him as well. “Yeah yeah, what do you take me for? I’ll be the best Alpha for Izuku.”
Then their parents were switching places, and Izuku couldn’t help but laugh along as his Auntie said, “Now it all makes sense! You two were acting strange, but we just couldn’t figure it out!” He readily accepted her hug, feeling the love in more ways than one as all their happy scents filled the room. It had him idly wondering how their pup would scent as they grew, if his and Kacchan’s scents would combine somehow, or be unique to themself.
Once all the congratulating was done, Mitsuki and Inko prepared some tea and they all settled in the living room to talk. Naturally they were ecstatic to hear that Izuku was ten weeks along, and asked what all they had done so far to prepare. Izuku leaned further into Katsuki’s side when the blond put an arm around him, smiling as he dropped a kiss onto his curls. He felt himself lose a bit of tension he hadn’t known he was holding, the voices of their parents washing over him as they discussed what else they would need to do throughout his pregnancy.
* * * * *
“Thank you for having us over Izuku! I’m glad we could all hang out again.” Ochako greeted him, slipping off her shoes and into slippers as she entered his apartment. Izuku readily gave her a hug, before greeting Tsuyu, Shoto and Tenya in a similar manner as they shuffled through the genkan.
Izuku ushered them to the living room, feeling a strange satisfaction as he watched his friends make themselves comfortable on the couches. The way they were all familiar with his space, having their favorite pillow or spot - his inner Omega purred in delight at seeing his pack so content. Doctor Safuku had said that his instincts would become steadily stronger during his pregnancy, and several forums he’d joined agreed and shared their experiences too.
After getting everyone some tea, he arranged himself comfortably on the couch with the rest of them. Watching his friends laugh and talk, Izuku felt a wave of fondness go through him. He didn’t realize how his scent was betraying his happiness until Tsuyu smiled at him. “What’s on your mind, ribbit?”
“Yes, what did you want to tell us Izuku?” Shoto asked, glancing down the hallway before adding, “and will Katsuki be joining us?”
Izuku unconsciously scented more happy Omega at the mention of his Alpha, blushing at the light laughter that provoked. “No, Kacchan is out with his friends right now. But maybe we can all get together later!”
His friends agreed eagerly, making Izuku preen again at the fact that his and Kacchan’s respective ‘squads’ enjoyed spending time together too. He noticed Ochako smirking at him as more of his citrusy scent filled the room, and he could feel his heart start to beat faster in response.
“Sooo, any reason why mentioning Bakugo is making you so happy today? You’re not normally this reactive,” she teased, grin growing as Izuku blushed again. “What, did he show you a really good time last night?”
“Ochako!!” Izuku choked out, somehow getting more scandalized when she added, “It’s not like this would be the first time!” As she cackled away, Izuku desperately looked to the others for support.
To his dismay, Shoto and Tsuyu were nodding in agreement. Tsuyu with a teasing little smile on her face, and Shoto as stone-faced as ever as he said, “Yes, like that time that-”
“Shoto please!” Izuku outright begged, feeling like his brain was going to melt from his ears with how hot his face was getting.
“We should not bother Izuku about his private time with Bakugo!” Tenya admonished, arm chopping in the way he’d never outgrown. Izuku turned to the Alpha, about to thank him when he added with a playful glint in his eye, “No matter how obvious they’ve become!”
“Kami, you’re all terrible!” Izuku scrubbed his hands down his face, trying to bite back the grin that wanted to form. Huffing out a sigh, he blurted out, “I’m pregnant!”
There was a cacophony of noise as everyone exclaimed at varying volumes. Ochako screeched in excitement, grabbing his hands and pulling him to his feet. He couldn’t help smiling back as she hopped in place, tearing up when she pulled him into a bruising hug. “Oh Izuku, that’s amazing!! So I was kind of right!”
Izuku groaned playfully, hugging her back until a hand on his shoulder made him look up. Tenya was there, a wide smile on his face and a shimmer over his eyes. Ochako allowed him to step away, accepting a hug from Tenya next. “Congratulations Izuku, how long have you known?”
Wiping at his eyes, Izuku said, “I’m a little over 12 weeks now, and we found out when I was at six weeks. We told our parents a couple weeks ago, which was really nice.” Walking over to their fridge, Izuku took down the photo that had been placed front and center. He looked at it fondly as he made his way back to his friends, before turning it to show them the ultrasound.
Ochako squealed at the sight of the fetus on its back, teeny legs pointed up, and Shoto had a small smile on his face as he took in the blurry picture. Meeting Izuku’s eyes again, he said sincerely, “I vow to be the best uncle to your child.” A watery laugh bubbled out of Izuku’s lips, and he gave the Alpha a hug, a whiff of fresh mint mixing with his orange scent.
“So that’s why you were sick so often,” Tsuyu mused, finger perched over her mouth. Placing her hands back in her lap, she smiled at the other Omega. “How are you feeling now, Izu-chan?”
Sitting back down beside her, Izuku said cheerfully, “Oh, a lot better now that I know why I’ve been feeling certain ways. My appointments have all gone well, and my doctor is nice and professional even with Kacchan and I being pro-heroes.”
Izuku gave Tsuyu the ultrasound when she held her hand out, sniffling softly at the tender expression that crossed her face. Glancing up at the others, fresh tears rolled down his cheeks at the fond way they were looking at him. Their scents expressed the joy that they couldn’t put into words, and Izuku wiped at his eyes fruitlessly as it washed over him like a warm hug. His citrus scent grew stronger again, revealing how overjoyed he was at the moment and soon there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
“I’m so grateful to have your support in this next step in my life. And even if they were a surprise, I’m so happy to be having this pup with Kacchan.” Izuku warbled out, trying not to outright sob but failing miserably.
It had been a time and a half trying to sooth his Omega growing up, with his true mate so close, yet so far. Izuku had been distraught when Kacchan had started pushing him away, refusing to even scent him as they used to as pups. His Omega yearned for the Alpha every day, and Izuku was honestly surprised he’d never gotten any sort of bond sickness. Izuku had come to the conclusion that Kacchan’s close proximity had helped keep his Omega strong enough, despite the negative interactions.
Kami, it had still gotten ugly when Izuku hit puberty and started having Heats. Those days were spent writhing in pain, sobbing into his pillow for his Kacchan. The Alpha’s behavior during the few days leading up to and after his Heats didn’t help either. While still brash, Kacchan would lay off a little. Some days, Izuku could almost see the Kacchan that used to scent him and proclaim to the world that they would be the best heroes together.
In a way, the small breaks from the bullying hurt more than if Kacchan’s behavior had stayed consistent. It gave Izuku that dangerous feeling of hope, the teeniest flame that somehow sustained Izuku up to high school, when his Kacchan finally returned to him. The joy he had felt was indescribable, and Izuku choked back another sob at the memory.
Ochako shushed him gently when his breath started stuttering from the emotions going through him, running her fingers through green curls. Shoto moved to kneel in front of him, the Alpha letting off soothing pheromones as he gently held Izuku’s hand in his. Izuku slowly calmed down, giving Tsuyu a shaky smile as she held his other hand. When Tenya leaned over the back of the couch to give him a hug, Izuku was finally able to take a deep breath again.
“Wah, sorry everyone,” he said, reaching for the tissues on his coffee table. Dabbing at his eyes, Izuku smiled ruefully. “I didn’t expect to get this overwhelmed, I’m just so happy. I love Kacchan with all my heart, and now we’re having a baby together. Which was something that I could only imagine in my wildest dreams when we were young.”
“It would be weird if you didn’t cry, ribbit,” Tsuyu teased, bumping her shoulder against his when he laughed with the others. “How did Baku-chan take the news?”
The stunned, teary face of his Alpha crossed his mind, and Izuku had to pat his eyes once again. “He was…ecstatic,” Izuku said, smiling at the memory of those searing kisses. “Right now he’s telling Eijiro and the others too, we decided it was about time to start letting our closest friends know.”
His friends aawed, a fresh burst of happiness filling the room as Izuku was squeezed into another group hug.
* * * * *
Katsuki fiddled with his wedding band as he entered Eijiro and Mina’s apartment, heart rate jumping at the sound of his friends' voices coming from further in. He toed off his shoes, placing them neatly beside the others and noting that he was the last to arrive. Stepping away from the genkan, he took a deep breath, letting it out slowly.
“Bakubro? Is that you?” Eijiro asked, before footsteps came closer. Katsuki braced himself as he rounded the corner and was immediately hauled in for a hug by the other Alpha. The other knuckleheads cheered when they saw him, ribbing him good-naturedly for being last.
Despite his exaggerated sigh of annoyance, Katsuki couldn’t help but feel a bit of relief from the firm hug. Tension he hadn’t realized he was holding was released, and he allowed himself a moment longer to take another deep breath. Crisp cedar and fresh coffee flooded his system first, the scents of the others trickling in after, and his Alpha was reminded that he was among friends, pack, here.
“Hey, you doing all right Katsuki?” Kyoka sounded concerned, and Katsuki made himself pull away from Eijiro’s embrace. Turning his head to meet dark purple eyes, Katsuki just grinned and nodded.
“Yeah, just wanted to see you guys,” Katsuki said, looking over at the others. A tinge of annoyance went through him at the worried glances they exchanged, and stomped over to the couch to plop down beside Mina. Still, he only grumbled half-heartedly when the Alpha reached over to mess with his hair, her sweet, cherry blossom scent wafting over.
Eijiro sat on his other side, and Katsuki’s eye twitched at the worry still present in his best friend’s face. Then Hanta asked, “So what’s wrong Bakugo?”
“Yeah, what’s on your mind, Blasty babe?” Mina added, her brow furrowing when he subconsciously leaned into the hand touching his shoulder.
Katsuki groaned loudly, spitting out, “Nothing’s wrong! What, I can’t just want to hang out with you extras?” He winced at the incredulous looks that got, and knew he had to nip this in the bud, stat. He swatted away Denki’s hand that was trying to feel his forehead, as his friends started up their questions again and barked out, “Shut up! Just give me a second.”
Reaching into his pocket, he took out the photo he and Izuku had received at their last appointment. He smiled softly at the image, before it was wiped away by the renewed sound of hurried, concerned whispers around him. “For fuck’s sake, here!” He gave the photo to Eijiro, the only one who had been waiting patiently. He rolled his eyes when the others immediately crowded around the man to see, a grin forming on his face at the stunned silence that followed.
“Katsuki,” Eijiro breathed out, tracing the little shape in the ultrasound with a shaky finger. “Is this what I think it is?”
Five expectant gazes looked at him for an answer, and Katsuki had to swallow down the sudden emotion thick in his throat. “Izuku’s pregnant, he’s carrying our pup,” he somehow choked out. Blinking, he was shocked to feel tears rolling down his face.
He scrubbed roughly at his eyes, missing the way his friends glanced at each other, and when they moved as one. Katsuki jumped slightly at the feeling of hands gently pulling his away, and met Mina’s golden eyes as she smiled softly at him. “Let it out babe, it’s all right,” she whispered and something cracked inside of him.
A loud sob burst from his lips, and he readily leaned into Eijiro’s embrace as the Alpha wrapped an arm around his shoulders. “He’s 12 weeks along, has the most adorable little bump, and I still can’t believe this is happening,” he confessed in a shaky voice. He gratefully accepted a tissue from Hanta, appreciating the way the others were giving off soothing pheromones but giving him the space he needed.
“I know it’s been years since I was that stupid punk, that Izuku has forgiven me a million times over for the things I said and did to him. But I never imagined, never allowed myself to think about this possibility.” Katsuki caught sight of the ultrasound on the table, and immediately fresh notes of sweet caramel drifted through the room.
“I’m already the luckiest bastard in the world to be loved by that damn nerd, my gorgeous Omega. And then he goes and surprises me one day, telling me he’s expecting.” Katsuki cleared his throat, as the image of Izuku’s bright, wobbly smile crossed his mind.
Struggling to find his voice again, he stared down at his clasped hands, idly noting the callouses from his hero work. It still boggled his mind that these hands were capable of treating his mate with such tenderness and care now, when there was a time they only brought pain. Kami, he had been such an idiot.
Katsuki scoffed, still keeping his gaze down as he said, “My Alpha despised me when I was young. Fighting my instincts on a daily basis was so exhausting, but I couldn’t accept that that ‘damn Deku’ was my true mate. Something I’d known from the moment I laid eyes on him when we were pups, but rejected when I got it in my head that Quirks were more important than supporting my Omega.”
A hand clasping his shoulder made Katsuki raise his head, and he met Hanta’s gaze. Those dark eyes stared him down, as the Alpha said earnestly, “You were just a pup, and you’ve told us how horrible your school and peers were too.”
Katsuki opened his mouth to argue, but Kyoka quickly added, “Yes, you were a little asshole during middle school, but don’t disregard how much you’ve grown since then.”
Denki piped in, saying, “Hell even in our first year at UA, by the end of it you were a completely different person!” He smiled at the other blond, reaching over to scent him comfortingly. “We love you man, and we’ve seen how you’ve treated Izuku since high school. You’re doing great, Katsuki.”
Katsuki roughly grabbed another tissue as fresh tears threatened to fall at his friend’s words. Once upon a time, he would’ve called himself weak and pathetic for being this vulnerable. But now, the fact that he had actual friends to rely on? He couldn’t put into words how much their love and support meant to him.
“Dammit you extras love to see me cry, don’t you?” Of course there was no way in hell he’d say that to their faces. He sneered at their grinning faces, though the effect was ruined as he instinctively responded to the relief and happiness in their scents with his own. As he wiped the remaining tears from his cheeks, he grumbled good-naturedly as they started up with their usual teasing again.
“So what are our bets?” Hanta smirked, reaching over to ruffle Katsuki’s hair. “Will this kid be a mini Kacchan, or will Midoriya make his namesake proud?”
“Forget looks, will we have a little gremlin running around, or a sweet little angel who’ll steal everyone’s hearts like his dam?” Kyoka laughed, the others quickly jumping in with their own thoughts. Katsuki just sat back with a smile, his heart feeling full and warm from all the happiness in the room.

Izuku wrung his hands together, anxiously glancing around at the people milling about. He was waiting for Hitoshi, the last of his close friends to tell the big news. The perpetually tired Alpha had reached out the other day, letting Izuku know he finally had some free time after a long underground mission. Izuku had suggested meeting at their favorite cafe, and of course he’d arrived earlier than needed.
Though he had a little baby bump that he had to stop himself from cupping in public, it was easy enough to cover with an oversized shirt or one of his cardigans. But Izuku wasn’t completely sure if his scent would give him away if he entered the cafe alone. Kacchan had said he’d noticed a slightly sweet, milky scent underneath the citrus while they were cuddling, and now Izuku was paranoid that someone with a keen sense of smell would figure out his secret.
“Hey Izuku.” The deep voice behind him startled him badly, and Izuku let out a little shriek. He was oddly relieved he didn’t have One For All anymore or else he would have ended up on the roof across the street. Whipping around, Izuku found Hitoshi poised with his hand about to touch his shoulder. Shocked purple eyes met green, and then the Alpha unfroze with a soft chuckle.
“You already seemed more manic than usual that day you asked us to come over. I thought that energy would have gone by now,” he teased. Casting a glance at the cafe, he smirked. “How many coffees have you had already?”
Izuku finally found his voice again, moving forward to hug his friend. “Hitoshi!” He hummed happily at the familiar Earl Grey tea scent, his inner Omega finding comfort being around his pack. “None, I promise. I’m just excited to see you!”
“Sorry I wasn’t able to join the rest of you,” Hitoshi said as they entered the cafe. Izuku grinned at the way the Alpha inhaled deeply, before his attention was back to the conversation. “So what’s going on?”
Even with his friend’s easygoing attitude, Izuku could feel his nerves start to get the better of him again. There were also a few people around them in line, and Izuku managed to say, “Let’s get our drinks and sit first.” Their usual table was tucked away in the corner, and Izuku would feel infinitely more comfortable telling Hitoshi the secret away from the other customers.
Hitoshi squinted at him, no doubt wondering why Izuku was being so tight-lipped all of a sudden. Izuku just smiled innocently, breathing a sigh of relief when they made it to the front. He quickly blurted out his order, allowing Hitoshi to pay without their usual back-and-forth, and winced at the concerned glance that provoked.
Grabbing his drink, Izuku fairly ran to their secluded corner table. Sitting down, he laughed softly at Hitoshi following at a much more sedate pace. “OK,” the Alpha said, taking a seat across from Izuku. “You’re freaking me out now. You haven’t even asked me a single question about my mission either.”
Izuku almost blurted it out, starting to feel guilty but thankfully Hitoshi lightened the mood quickly. Smiling in a way that was reminiscent of Aizawa, he asked, “You finally decide to dump Explosion Boy and run away with me?”
Izuku pushed him gently, knowing full well the Alpha was actively planning on proposing to Denki soon. The blond Omega loved this bit as much as Kacchan despised it, having begun when he and Kacchan were just starting to date. Kacchan had still been a little nervous, a little insecure, and Hitoshi had started spending more time with Izuku and his friends. At one point, Kacchan had pulled the purple-haired Alpha aside, and bluntly asked if he had a crush on Izuku.
Izuku still remembered the way Kacchan had set off the smoke alarm in the dorm kitchen in his embarrassment, when Hitoshi had laughed in his face. He had been sure to give his poor Alpha all the cuddles he wanted afterwards. Unfortunately Hitoshi then made it a personal goal to rile up Kacchan every chance he had, though Kacchan gave back as good as he got. Especially after learning that the insomniac actually had feelings for a certain electrifying Omega.
Still, the fact that Hitoshi continued to amuse himself with this bit, made as good of a segue as any. Biting back a smile, Izuku feigned a dramatic, sad sigh. “Sorry Hitoshi, I can’t run away with you. How can I, when I’m expecting another Alpha’s child?”
Hitoshi froze midway lifting his coffee, those tired eyes comically wide as they met Izuku’s. “Are you serious?” he whispered, a smile growing on his face as Izuku nodded. He could feel his trademark tears threatening to run over, and quickly wiped at his eyes. “No wonder Bakugo’s been insufferable lately, I thought his head couldn’t get any bigger.”
Hitoshi laughed as Izuku swat at him again, laughing along because he’d known that Kacchan’s new attitude would make some people suspicious. His husband had been strutting around the agency with his head held high, despite the fact he couldn’t tell anyone why. And while he’d always been a force while on patrol, lately he’d been taking down villains with ease. Izuku didn’t think he’d ever come down from this high, and he felt an overwhelming fondness for his silly Alpha.
“So how far along are you?” Hitoshi asked, and Izuku gladly shared everything that had happened since that fateful day. Naturally he teared up throughout, but Hitoshi was ready with a napkin each time. Izuku was touched when his friend also got a little misty-eyed when he was shown the ultrasound.
Wiping a stray tear away, Hitoshi said sincerely, “I’m really happy for you…and I guess for that Alpha of yours.” Izuku laughed wetly, taking a sip of his lukewarm tea as the other man continued, his voice slightly thick as he said, “And I’m honored that you trust me with this news. I can’t wait to see how you handle parenting, though with your track record, you’ll be amazing.”
Izuku brought his hands up to his mouth, choking back a sob. “Hitoshi!” He got up quickly, scrambling around the table to give the Alpha a hug, sniffling when Hitoshi held him back tightly. It was such a change from how prickly he had been when they first met as students, and Izuku was so happy that his friend was so comfortable around him now.
They stayed and chatted a little longer, until their cups were running dry and Hitoshi was called in to double check some paperwork from his mission. Izuku gave Hitoshi another hug after they exited the cafe, scenting him happily before releasing him. “Oh, and please don’t tell your family. I want to tell Aizawa-sensei and Eri myself,” he said, smiling at the fond look on Hitoshi’s face.
“Of course Izuku,” Hitoshi said, before he smirked. “Let me know when you’ll tell my dad, I want to be there to see his face.” Izuku laughed with him, easily agreeing with the request.

Katsuki strode through the UA hallways, smirking at the whispers that followed him from the students already there. Even dressed casually, he knew he made an impressive sight, never mind the fact that he was the No. 5 hero. Thankfully no one tried to stop him to talk, as today was a bit different than his usual visits.
Izuku was finding it harder to hide his pregnancy now at 16 weeks, that precious bump that held their child. Katsuki swore his heart grew ten times each time he saw or felt it. He spent his evenings nuzzling and talking to their pup, and Katsuki would never get tired of seeing that soft smile on his Omega’s face as he watched him. He’d always end with leaving kisses that eventually made their way up Izuku’s body to properly worship his mate.
Izuku took to wearing baggier clothes (Katsuki’s mostly, a fact that made the Alpha preen) on their days off. But pretty soon his belly would be obvious in the suits he wore while teaching. Plus, Izuku had told him that his class and coworkers were getting suspicious. The nesting that he’d been doing at home had apparently started spreading into his classroom, and Izuku said that Aizawa had been watching him a little closer than usual.
As expected, Izuku had wanted Katsuki to be there with him when he told Aizawa and All Might. Katsuki huffed out a laugh as he remembered Izuku’s pout when he teased him about collecting father figures. Turning a corner, he saw the teacher’s lounge up ahead and felt a little thrill go through him. OK, so he was also a little excited about telling Hobo-sensei and the old man that they were expecting.
‘Plus the extra bit for All Might especially,’ Katsuki thought, fighting back a smile as he entered the staffroom. “Ah young Bakugo! Always nice to see you,” Yagi called out from his desk beside Izuku’s. Katsuki nodded in greeting, before quickly making his way over to press a kiss to his Omega’s freckled cheek.
“Hi Deku, miss me already?” He’d had to drop by the agency for a few hours earlier that morning, so they’d agreed to just meet at UA so Izuku wouldn’t be late. And if he had used his Quirk to ensure he arrived before classes started, so they could share their news first thing, that was his own business.
“I always miss you when we’re apart, Kacchan,” Izuku said softly, the sweetest smile accompanying the words that shot straight through his heart like Cupid’s arrow. Katsuki could feel his ears burning when he heard Mic-sensei going ‘aaaaw’ from the door behind him, but didn’t deny his love the second kiss he leaned up for.
“Why is Problem Child no.2 here already?” Aizawa’s tired voice asked as he entered with his husband, and Katsuki bristled at the nickname. He turned to sneer at the elder Omega, though his temper was cooled by the soft laugh from his mate. “This wouldn’t have anything to do with Hitoshi meeting us by the front gates, would it?”
Katsuki quirked an eyebrow at the sight of Eyebags sauntering in after his dads, the other Alpha smirking at him once they made eye contact. Those purple eyes glanced beside Katsuki, his smile softening as Izuku waved happily at his friend.
“What, a man can’t visit his Dads at work every now and then?” The shit eating grin on his face said otherwise, plus the phone being pointed in his direction. Katsuki smirked at the exasperated way Aizawa looked at Hitoshi, before turning his attention back on him and Izuku.
Wasting no time at all, Izuku clapped his hands together and said, “Well, Kacchan and I have some exciting news to share!” A glimmer of something appeared in Aizawa’s eyes, while Yagi perked up expectantly, and Katsuki felt himself holding his breath. “I’m pregnant! We’re going to be parents!”
Yagi immediately began spluttering in shock, though he managed to choke out, “What wonderful news!” Katsuki watched fondly as Yagi pulled Izuku into a hug, stepping closer when the older Alpha held out a hand towards him. He huffed softly as he was roped into the hug, Izuku squeaking as he was squished between them. “I cannot say how happy I am for you two! I know you will handle this part of your lives with the grace and strength that you’ve had up to this point.”
“Thanks All Might,” Izuku said, voice thick with emotion. Katsuki let off some soothing pheromones when he felt Izuku’s breath stuttering from his tears, relieved when it evened out quickly. He stepped back when Yagi did, shaking his head as his mate and mentor wiped at their eyes.
“So I assume your ‘flu’ a while ago was morning sickness? How are you doing now?” Yamada asked after a moment, and Katsuki glanced over at the other couple. That same unknown emotion was in Aizawa’s gaze as he looked between his two former students. Yamada meanwhile had a huge smile on his face, green eyes glimmering with unshed tears. “Do you know the gender of your pup yet?”
Izuku sniffled, leaning into Katsuki’s side when he put an arm around his shoulders. “I’m feeling a lot better, though I did have a bout of heartburn a couple weeks ago.” They laughed softly, and then Izuku added, “We don’t know yet, but there is something else we wanted to tell you, Yagi-san.”
Yagi tilted his head curiously, gesturing for him to continue. Katsuki saw how Izuku was struggling to get the words out again, and dropped a kiss onto his fluffy curls. “If we have a boy,” Katsuki said, making eye contact with the former Number One. “We want to name him Toshi, after the man who believed in Izuku, and who helped set us onto the path that led us here.”
“Oh, I’ve already told you my boys,” Yagi said warmly. “It was you who saved me.” Katsuki could feel tears forming in the corner of his eyes, and quickly looked away from that soft expression.
He immediately noticed Aizawa was blinking rapidly up at the ceiling, and was shocked when he uttered a gruff, “shit” before pinching the bridge of his nose and letting out a heavy breath. Katsuki saw Izuku inch forward from the corner of his eye, obviously concerned and he didn’t blame him. Even after all these years, a sharp look from Aizawa had him straightening his spine reflexively, so seeing him so…distressed was worrisome.
Katsuki actually took a step forward when he saw Aizawa’s shoulders trembling slightly. Then he saw Hitoshi subtly shake his head, a wry grin on his face as he watched his father, phone still recording. Looking back, Katsuki was shocked when he lowered his hand to reveal his eyes shimmering with tears. Behind him, Yamada was looking at him fondly, and his lack of alarm to his mate’s behavior settled Katsuki.
With a few long strides, Aizawa was placing a hand on each of their shoulders. “I,” he started, before having to clear his throat softly. “I am so proud of the men you’ve become. You faced far too much before even graduating, and I”ll never forgive myself for not protecting you more. But,” he continued curtly before Katsuki could even take a breath to retort. “You’ve shown me and the world your strength and perseverance, and now that you’re becoming parents?”
Katsuki could hear Izuku sniffling beside him, and he was honestly having a hard time himself as Aizawa offered a rare smile. “You’re truly the symbols of Hope and Victory, showing everyone there can still be a happy future even after everything you’ve gone through.”
Exhaling roughly, Katsuki wiped at his eyes as those damn tears finally trickled over. “Fuck, sensei,” he muttered, ignoring the snicker from Hitoshi. Aizawa ruffled his hair with a grin, before they both looked at Izuku when the younger Omega started hiccuping from his tears.
Izuku’s lips were wobbling as he struggled not to outright sob, but Katsuki found himself smiling at the gleam in Izuku’s gaze. “Aizawa-san, I’m going to give you a hug now, OK?”
Katsuki bit back a laugh at the way Aizawa groaned exaggeratedly, though he didn’t miss the way his eyes grew shiny once again. Who knew their hard-ass teacher was a sympathetic crier? “Fine, Problem Child, just this on-” The cut off noise he made when Izuku latched onto him did make Katsuki laugh, even more when Aizawa glared over the mess of green curls.
“Either of you breathe a word of this to your hellion classmates, and I’ll have you running laps through Ground Beta until you’re my age,” Aizawa threatened, though it lost its edge as he scented Izuku before he was released from the hug.
“Whatever you say, Hobo-sensei.” Katsuki grinned as Aizawa rolled his eyes, clearly hiding another smile in his capture scarf.
“I take it you’ll be telling Eri next? She mentioned that you wanted to speak with her before school,” Yamada asked, lifting his glasses to wipe idly at his eyes.
“Ah yes, I wanted to tell Eri and Kota personally,” Izuku said with a soft smile. Katsuki’s chest warmed as he realized that’s how his mate would be looking at their child soon. Glancing around the room, he felt an overwhelming fondness for his past teachers and mentors. Then Katsuki scowled when he heard that damn insomniac Alpha chuckling at whatever expression had crossed his face.
Not wanting to give him any more blackmail, Katsuki cleared his throat subtly. Nudging Izuku and tilting his head towards the door, he said softly, “We should get going then, if you want to tell the brats before classes start.”
He collected Izuku’s bag for him, and preened happily when Izuku scented him gently in return. “Thank you Kacchan.” The Omega turned to the others, and immediately teared up again as he said happily, “And thank you all for your kind words!”
Katsuki hooked an arm around Izuku’s waist as they walked towards the door, begrudgingly smiling at the warm, happy scents that had filled the room. As they passed Hitoshi, he paused long enough to mutter, “Can you…send me that video?”
“What’s the magic word?” Katsuki rolled his eyes at the snarky response, biting back the smile that threatened to appear.
“Please, ya damn Troll Doll.” He knocked against his shoulder as they passed, chuckling at the fake groan Hitoshi let out. With one final, “See you later Sensei’s, Yagi-san!” from Izuku, they made their way down to Izuku’s classroom.

“Aw Deku!!” Eri’s sweet strawberry scent filled Izuku’s nose as she hugged him. There was a short pause, then she reeled back and looked up with wide eyes. “Oh my — is that the pup?”
Izuku laughed, his heart warming as he opened his suit jacket to reveal his round belly. She squealed happily, expression awestruck as she laid her hands gently over his baby bump. “Oh I can’t wait to meet them! I’ll play my guitar and sing for them, and we can bake cookies together - when they’re older of course!” Izuku couldn’t help tearing up as he listened to Eri happily list everything she wanted to show their kid. She’d grown so much since she’d run out of that alley absolutely reeking of terrified pup.
Smiling softly at the inquisitive tilt to her head when she realized he was crying, Izuku tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. The soothing scent he gave off did the trick, and she was back to smiling in a second. However, Izuku realized it was pretty quiet in the hallway now that she’d paused her adorable rambling.
Looking over at Kota, Izuku frowned at the sight of the teen looking down at his shoes. His familiar spiked hat hid his eyes, but Izuku could see him clenching his jaw, shoulders bunched up by his ears. Slowly stepping closer, he placed a hand on Kota’s shoulder, making the young Alpha look up to reveal shiny eyes.
“So are you leaving us until the pup is here then? Or are you not even coming back, so you can focus on raising your kid?” He bit out, struggling to keep in his tears. Izuku got a whiff of his distress, and immediately pulled Kota - his first pup in a way - into a hug. The teen collapsed into the hold with a soft whimper, bunching the back of his jacket in his fists. A quick look at Kacchan revealed the Alpha was also concerned at this reaction.
“Unless my doctor advises me otherwise, I’ll be teaching throughout my pregnancy. If anything, you’ll get sick of seeing me, especially when I stop going on patrols soon.” Izuku was relieved when Kota laughed wetly, and scented him gently when the boy burrowed further against his neck. “And just because I’m having a kid with Kacchan, doesn’t mean I’ll forget about you guys.”
Izuku glanced over at Eri, relieved that she seemed fine, if a bit worried for her friend. Holding an arm out, he smiled as Eri eagerly joined the hug. Kota grunted softly at the contact, but his scent betrayed his happiness. “Still can’t believe your mate is Bakugo,” the teen grumbled playfully, finally losing the tension in his frame. “But I’m happy for you, Deku-nii.”
“Precocious brat,” Kacchan chuckled. Placing a hand on Kota and Eri’s shoulders, his soothing scent erased the last of the tension in the air.
Keeping his arms around the teens, Izuku leaned back enough to catch their eyes. “I would never let anything get between us. You two are pack, and I just wanted to share that we’re getting a new addition soon.”
He and Kacchan laughed as Kota blushed at his words, his scent revealing how pleased he was being called pack, while Eri cooed happily at the sentiment.

HERO NEWS UPDATE:
“As many have noticed, Hero Deku has steadily been making fewer appearances to the public. Also on his recent patrols, it cannot be denied that his behavior and actions have erred on the side of caution. Concerned fans have resorted to sharing theories online, as any questions asked of GEMGD only resulted in the Alpha telling them to “stop being so damn nosy!” Deku’s other acquaintances have also remained tight-lipped when approached about the Omegan Hero.
However, after weeks of mystery we at Hero Times are honored to have been chosen by the Wonder Duo to share their news! Hero Deku will be stepping away for an undetermined amount of time, as it will be too dangerous to continue for much longer in his condition. But never fear citizens, for he and his mate are ecstatic to share that “we are expecting our first pup! I hope that our fans and concerned citizens forgive my absence, and I promise I will be back before you know it!”
As ever, our Symbol of Hope shared his many apologies for needing time off, until both Dynamight-san and our reporter were able to sooth his worries. I believe we speak for everyone when we wish him a smooth pregnancy, and we will be eagerly yet patiently awaiting his return - with a new “sidekick” in tow!
