Work Text:

Mihawk could tell the woman say opposite of him was strong. Had to be to have been a Marine Vice-admiral once. She definitely hasn't been slacking since.

Her sister sat nearby wasn't much less of a danger. Her observation tracked Mihawk ever since he landed. He was quite sure of it now. That barely there feeling of a predator watching him.

"Is the Fleet Admiral scared of the two of us to send you?" Doflamingo grinned behind her sunglasses.

Judging by how dressed down the two were Mihawk guessed they weren't expecting company. And it wasn't like he gave them much chance to prepare, coming straight to them. Refusing the distraction of Dressrosa's famous arena.

Doflamingo wore a sundress with a flower patter. Garish and loud, so unlike the red suit on her wanted posters. Even if they were cancelled now. Her pink coat hid her arms as she lounged on a couch as if it were a throne.

Rosinante wore a loose, barely off white shirt with a heart pattern. White shorts and over the knee stockings held up with garters. She looked bored. Or mayhaps she was asleep behind her sunglasses.

At least until she got up.

"Rosi?" Doflamingo asked her sister.

"Shammy's in town, I'll go see her," Rosinante declared as her black wings stretched. Ignoring Mihawk. It was mildly insulting.

There was the most interesting fact about he two sisters. They're half-Lunarians. And yet the Government let's them to smile free. Is it their Celestial Dragon half? Something else? They certainly must know many secrets. Having been spies of some sort in the past. At least according to rumours he picked up out of sheer boredom.

"I hope she can stay for dinner, I'm sure mother would love to see her," Doflamingo smiled, uncharacteristically softly.

"I'll see if she has time, tell mother I'm sorry I can't make it to afternoon tea," Rosi waved and left.

Doflamingo's smile fell as soon as her sister left. "I'm sorry but I'll have to join my mother for tea soon. We'll try to come over for the next meeting. And if you could be so nice, please tell.him to just call next time," Doflamingo smiled, standing up.

Weirdly her wings weren't pinks as per usual but black, matching her sister. Interesting. So the pink isn't natural after all.

"I believe that will have to satisfy him," Mihawk shrugged. At least he saw the both of them.

Doflamingo nodded, checking her obnoxiously bright nails. "Dia will show you the door, I have to join my mother," she chuckled as the man in question came in.

We'll, he saw them both and heard something interesting. Shammy was visiting. And - Mother. Aren't they supposed to be orphans?

We'll, at least his boredom is cured for the day.
