Big and Vector were by lake fishing. The temperature was just right, the Mystic Ruins were the best during the summer and the fish were active so there was a ton to catch. Though Vector had to hold back on selling most of the fish since he wanted to save some of Espio and Charmy back home.
Then a question. "Hey Big, I got a question for ya…" Vector said putting his fishing rod to the side. Big's ear flicked, he grinned turning to Vector. "Ah, is it about the rings. They're real pretty…"
Vector's face turned red. "Y-Yeah they are, but that's not what I was gonna ask." Vector's tail wagged, he wasn't good at hiding how happy he was around Big. "It's about how…, y'know…"
Big tilted his head, confused. "About…?"
"Well I heard Sonic talk about his adventures. A lotta weird stuff. Like becoming a knight, and turning out he's some sorta king or whatever. And like getting sent into the world of Arabian Knights…, he said he found you hanging around. Just how the hell do you end up in places like that?"
Big drew a blank, blinked and then it came to him. "Oh that. I can show you if you want."
"Huh? What do you mean show me…?"
BIg stood up taking Vector's hand. He took him deep into the jungle, and behind some foliage a big floating ring. "It's here." Big pointed to the floating ring. "Woah, it's huge. And it looks like the ones we pick up except smaller." Vector was in shock
"Pick up?"
"Y'know the little rings around the place."
"I think you're seeing things. Heh."
"Oh come on! I got that from Espio as well!"
Big stepped closer. "So you wanna check it out?"
"Second thought…, let's just get back to fishing. I don't think we should-"
Vector was cut off by Big lifting him up into a bridal carry.
"Yer' heavy." Big commented. Vector blushed again, tail wagging. Big stepped into the ring.
Once inside, it was like another world. A city covered in ourple and a sky dark as night.
"Woah…, this looks like Star Light City." Vector was amazed. "You never showed this to anybody else?"
"Nope, this is the first time I shared this with anybody."
"It's beautiful…"
"Well love, we have a lot to explore, hm…?"
Vector blushed again. "Y-Yeah."
