Chapter Text
They eventually broke apart.
"I should go”
“Wait Rozanov!”
“Next time we see each other, another date?”
“uh yeah…”
Rozanov gave him a quick kiss, then finished walking down the hall, to the elevator, went inside, and disappeared. Shane was left standing there. Still in shock of what just happened. He slowly walked back to his room, thinking of what just happened. He touched his lips, feeling where Rozanov's lips had just been. Missing them, though it had only been a couple minutes.
(Shane was lowkey genuinely cooked.)

The next day Shane woke up at 8 am, later than he would have wanted to, got up and started packing. His flight was at 2 pm, but he wanted to be ready. It was good practice knowing in a couple months he would be going on many flights and to different hotels. While he packed, he stared at the messed bed where Rozanov had been the night before. When was the next time he would see him? He realized it would be at their first game against each other. And that was 2 months away in October. While distracted thinking about Rozanov he heard a knock. Could it be Rozanov? When he opened the door. It was just his mom with a bag of food.
“Hey, you okay Shane?” his mom asked.
“Yeah of course.”
It would be a long 2 months for Shane.
