Jude Bellingham is your example of a perfect guy. Tall, muscular, athletic, smart–- he has it all. Yeah, maybe he is a little dramatic and maybe he can be a bit of an asshole at times but all of that is overshadowed by his looks, the physical aspect of him. Teenagers truly cared about one thing and Jude himself will tell you that personality isn’t an issue if you’re attractive enough. Of course, personality really wasn’t an issue for Jude…really. He knows how to manage himself and hide his rude side from others because nothing mattered more to him than his reputation. Jude loved attention. He loved being swarmed by people after a football match, he loved being called to the front of the class to explain problems and he loved the feeling of everyone's eyes on him.
Jude leaned against the window of his classroom, staring outside. It was rainy and dark outside. The clouds crowded together and thunder rumbled loudly. Though the atmosphere outside of the school did nothing to dampen the mood of the lively people surrounding him, it made his energy drop completely. He didn’t bother smiling at the people talking to him, resorting to short replies and hums. He continued to stare outside the window, unable to shake off this feeling of unease in his heart. Jude didn’t like the rain. He always tried to smile despite his feelings but today was just another case. He just…felt off. “-ude…? Jude! Are you listening?” His friend, Vini shook him, snapping him out of his trance. “Hm..” Jude hummed, slightly tilting his head to look at Vini, waiting for him to speak. “Did you hear about the new transfer? Heard he was a star at his last school. Wanna go see him? He sounds pretty cool.” Vini chirped, unable to mask his interest in the identity of this new student. “New student…?” Jude raised a brow. Really? This late in the school year? And what was this about him being a star? “Yeah! Heard the coach already met with him. He played left wing in his old school but I’m pretty sure he’s a flexible guy.” Jude stared at him, “Quite informed, aren’t you, mate?” Vini laughed in reply, “Yeah, yeah, you coming or not?” Jude let out an uninterested hum, “Nah, you go.” He dismissed. He didn’t watch Vini leave. He turned back to stare out the window, falling into thought. Vini is a nosy guy, it isn’t really reliable to base someone solely off of his excitement over them. Even if this new guy is getting this attention, usually it shifts back to Jude within a week after everyone settles down.
Okay. Seriously. Who is this guy? Jude hasn’t gotten to see even an inch of hair from this so-called new kid yet apparently everyone in school has. Every time someone talks to him, it’s about this kid. A feeling of dread boils up in Jude’s stomach and doubt starts to encompass his mind. Will everyone’s attention actually shift back to him after this? Will he really have to do something as unappealing as sharing the spotlight with someone else? Just the thought of it made Jude’s face scrunch up in disgust. Gosh, he really needs a nap.

Kylian Mbappe has been popular all his life. The spotlight was nothing new to him and he, personally, thrived in it. He enjoyed hearing people’s compliments and the excited ways that people talk to him. When he was first told by his mother that they’d be moving and he would have to transfer, he didn’t think much of it. A new start actually sounded great to him. He’d recently broken up with his boyfriend (now ex) who had cheated on him and honestly wasn’t feeling like listening to his nonsense anymore. But after constant thought, leaving was more difficult than he first believed. He’d be leaving his best friend since childhood, Ousmane. He’d have to leave Michael and say goodbye to the teachers he’d grown so close to. He adored Principle Deshamps and Mr. Zidane. Every person who made up who he was, he’d be leaving soon. It hurt to think about but they’d all have to separate eventually, right? Kylian comforted himself with that though all the way through the moving process.
Like the social butterfly he was, Kylian instantly fit in in his new school. He was happy that so many people were interested in him and excitedly spoke with every one of them. One person specifically who made an impression on him was a shorter boy, who he’d presume is younger than him, named Arda. Arda was a cute boy. He seemed to have watched Kylian play before because he was so excited to speak with him about football.
“Will you be joining our team? Our members would love you, Kylian! You’re amazing.” Arda chirped. Kylian smiled in response, “Yes, I already met the coach.” “Really?!? That’s great! You’ll love it here. I hope we can match your standards too!!” Arda complimented. It warmed Kylian's heart. Arda really reminded Kylian of his younger brother, Ethan. He always had a soft spot for sweet younger boys like Arda. Back in his old school, he was specifically fond of a boy named Desire who also reminded him of Ethan. Though, his relationship with Desire was a little awkward lately due to Kylian breaking up with their mutual friend who initially introduced them to each other, Neymar. Of course, like the sweetie Desire is, he cut off contact after realizing what Neymar did. But still, it was a little awkward with him. Perhaps he felt guilty because of what his friend did. Kylian wasn't sure. But he’d pay Desire a visit soon and properly fix their relationship another time. “I’m sure you guys will.” Kylian said softly, rubbing Arda’s head. How cute.

Jude finally came across this new kid a few days later during practice. Well, a little before. He came out to the field to get a little practice in on their day off and ran into a new face. “..? You are..?” He approached the man who was slightly shorter than him. “New guy?” The guy twisted his head to look at Jude, meeting his eye. Wow. Wow. What a face. “Oh! Kylian Mbappe, nice to meet you! Are you also here to practice? We could train together, if you want. Or I could leave you be.” The angel spoke to him, smiled at him. Gods save his heart. “Aha..sounds good.” Jude replied.
It really was as Vini heard. Kylian is truly amazing at football. His technique with the ball is absolutely stunning. Jude couldn’t help but show off as well, hoping his abilities could compare with Kylian’s. He enjoyed Kylian’s company. Kylian was a bright person and extremely talented at what he did. Jude felt like he could form a genuine bond with the guy in the future.
Jude doesn’t like him. Despite a week already passing since Kylian’s arrival, Jude still hasn’t managed to get the full attention of everyone he used to. He disliked sharing the spotlight. He wanted the attention on him but there was nothing he could do to fully capture people’s attention away from Kylian’s brightness. Despite it all, what annoyed Jude the most was that he could find anything wrong with Kylian specifically to dislike him for. Kylian is an angel, perfect and beautiful. He lights up every room he walks into and has such a way with words that he’s able to capture the heart of everyone he speaks to. He’s also really good at football. Jude likes playing with him. It’s just…the attention isn’t full on him anymore and it rubs Jude the wrong way.
So, like any normal person, Jude decides to take action.
He’s going to 'follow' Kylian and find something bad about him so that he can peacefully dislike the guy without feeling remorse.
Jude’s first attempt at finding something bad about Kylian was during lunch. It has been about 2 weeks since Kylian transferred over and the love for him seemed endless. Many people crowded him, inviting him to sit with them but Kylian himself was adamant on sitting with Arda and Endrick. While Vini chatted his ear off, Jude couldn't take his eyes of Kylian on the other side of the cafeteria, laughing at something the Brazilian boy had said. Suddenly, someone walking by with a full lunch tray tripped, spilling a good amount of spaghetti onto Kylian. The person apologized profusely, but Kylian just smiled, shaking his head and reassuring the other that it was alright. Jude stood up quickly, making his way over to Kylian. “Kylian. I'll take you to the restroom. Come?” Kylian looked up at Jude before nodding. Jude bit down a smile, maybe this was his chance to see Kylian’s walls break a little. Would he still act sweet and forgiving when they were alone? Or would Kylian mumble curses at the boy who just ruined his clothes and ‘embarassed’ him in front of the whole cafeteria. Jude followed behind Kylian, shutting the restroom door behind him. Kylian quietly scrubbed at the sauce on his shirt, a small frown appearing on his face. “Something wrong?” Kylian shook his head, “No…it’s just…a friend got me this shirt and I've dirtied it. I'm not sure if it'll come out in the wash. How bad is the stain past my shoulder? I don't know if I can head home now…” Kylian sighed. He looked like a sad bunny. Jude bit down on his lip, unable to feel any pleasure. Rather, he felt quite unpleasant at the moment. He quickly shoved off his jacket, stepped over to Kylian and covered his shoulders with the jacket. “Put it on, Kylian.” Kylian blinked at him, moving his arms into the sleeves. “It's a little big.” Jude laughed, “Yeah? Looks cute though.”
The second time, Jude avoided looking for holes in Kylian’s personality due to how much it broke Jude’s heart to see Kylian sad. He instead tested Kylian's academic abilities. Someone who can't compare to Jude academically isn't someone he needs to waste time worrying about, right? It's a good enough reason to dislike him. It started off with him asking Kylian for help on the history work. And then help with readings. Jude would cling to Kylian in many different ways whilst. He'd sometimes lay his head on Kylian's shoulder or play with Kylian's hand while he worked. He ended up dropping the act of needing help academically and just came by to cling to Kylian. Well, the main point was that he figured out that Kylian is smart, okay? And he's warm. He also has pretty soft hands. And really nice thighs..
One thing that really ticks Jude off is when he's fouled badly when playing football. Especially if it's constant. Surely Kylian also gets heated, right? Will he attempt to fight someone? Or push them? Jude wondered all the way until their first match together. Again, Vini’s words were truthful. Kylian is an extremely flexible player. Despite being a left winger before, he happily took over the striker position with their team. The match started and their team were able to control the ball easily, barely letting the other team get to it. The issue was, the other team’s defense was aggressive and at times, slightly careless. After a bunch of fouls against Kylian went uncalled the whole match, Jude couldn't take it anymore. A specific shove on Kylian (which only drew out a laugh from the shorter man) was Jude’s last straw. He watched as Kylian tried walking away but couldn't due to the player following and provoking him. Jude felt his blood boiling at the sight. He instantly rushed over, shoving the player back and getting sizing him up. The aggressive behavior from Jude earned him a yellow and a scolding from Fede. Kylian didn't say anything. He only stared at Jude before turning and heading back into position. Jude bit his lip before doing the same.
They’d won the match 2-0, fortunately. Kylian scored a goal assisted by Arda and assisted a goal for Vini. By far an amazing addition to their team. In the locker room, everyone crowded Kylian. But rather than feeling jealous of Kylian, who was receiving all the attention, he felt more jealous of the men around Kylian, rubbing and touching up on him. Jude couldn't take it anymore. He grabbed Kylian’s wrist, dragging him away from the others. He could hear Vini’s voice asking what his issue was but he ignored it. He pulled Kylian into a corner, pinning him to the wall. “Jude…?” Jude leaned down, tapping his forehead on Kylian’s. “You play beautifully, Kyky. As beautiful as you.” He said gently, staring into Kylian’s eyes. “You're much…more attractive than I am, Jude..” Kylian muttered, tilting his head away slightly. “Shy?” Jude hummed, tapping his cheek. “Look at me, baby.” Kylian hesitates before turning his head back to Jude. “Good boy, aren't you.” Jude smiled. “Mn..” Kylian’s lashes fluttered, his body temperature rising. “Kylian. Talk to me.” Kylian blinked,”What do I say..?” Jude’s expression softened at Kylian's words,”Let's start with…if you'd let me kiss you.” Kylian's face visibly stiffened before he nodded. Jude cupped his cheeks, pressing a soft kiss against his lips. He slipped his tongue in, skillfully sucking and teasing Kylian’s. His hands traced Kylian's curves, stopping at his hips. Kylian's hands twitched a little before moving to wrap around Jude’s neck, pulling him down, closer. Jude pulled Kylian up into his arms, his hands supporting Kylian from under. Kylian wrapped his legs around Jude, pulling away from the kiss. “Don't drop me-” “Won't.” Jude interrupted before diving back in, hungry and aggressive. Kylian let out a soft whimper, trying to match Jude's pace. “Do you guys mind? Do this at home-” Aurelien appeared, not an ounce of surprise on his face. Jude pulled away, setting Kylian down before turning to glare at Aurelien. “I don't say anything when you and captain suck each other's faces off. You think anyone actually believed that Fede got those bruise marks because you guys fought?” Kylian let out a small sound of shock, moving to cover Jude’s mouth. “Sorry, Aurelien. Forgive us.” He sighed. Aurelien nodded, “Of course, Kylian. I was just saying because anyone could walk in, you know.” Kylian nodded, “We know.” Once Aurelien left, Kylian finally let go of Jude, “Do you like me, Jude? Or was that just in the moment?” Jude blinked, his mouth dropping slightly.”Are you mad, Kyky? How could I do that to you if I wasn't extremely into you?? I like you. I like you so much, Kylian. I want you to be mine.” Jude said frantically. Kylian patted his shoulder, ”Okay, okay. Calm. I..like you too, Jude.”
Jude Bellingham is your example of a perfect guy. He's also dating a perfect guy, who he's happy to share his spotlight with. Though, at the moment, he'd prefer to be out of the spotlight and out of everyone's eyes so he can comfortably kiss and cuddle Kylian.
