Astro is finally back from a run that lasted 3? No 4 hours…and he has fallen asleep more times then sprout can scream at him to get into the elevator…he is very tired but finally no one needs him he can at last rest! As he settles into his tens of hundreds of pillows a soft but shy knock sounds out on his door
“H-hey…Astro?” a soft and shy voice says nervously
Astro grumbles a bit and gets up having just got comfy the toon is a bit annoyed not at the person knocking but at the fact they knocked now.
“I’m coming…” Astro spoke softly and quite tiredly
As he got to the door and opened it he saw a nervous, scared, shy, and definitely exhausted eclipse standing at his door
“S-sorry to bother you Astro…but I can’t sleep and I wondered if…y-you wouldn’t mind letting me stay here tonight…and maybe giving me good dreams today?” Eclipse spoke with a small and quite nervous voice as if she rehearsed in her head a hundred times yet still felt nervous about it, this left a shocked but not upset Astro to let eclipse into his room and set up some blankets and pillows on the ground next to his bed allowing for eclipse to rest on them
“So…may I know why you are scared eclipse?” Astro asked softly keeping his lamp on
“O-oh well…I uh…know it’s quite silly i suppose but…I’m very scared of the dark…and I know I’m a werewolf I shouldn’t be scared of it…but I get scared I’m going to lose it and hurt someone in the dark…and I really don’t want to hurt soulvester or ribecca! And especially not gourdy! But I know your good with dreams and stuff…and I also am scared I’ll have a nightmare…so…I came to you…since your good at dreams and stuff…” the toon spoke softly and still scared…but a bit more confident in speaking
“Oh…eclipse…I’m glad you came to me…it isn’t something wrong to be afraid of…and i understand where you are coming from…of course you can rest here for tonight and I will give you the best dreams I can…” Astro spoke with a calming and gentle voice that felt like a cloud was hugging you
“R-really? Gosh thanks Astro…I don’t know how I’d make it without you!” Eclipse spoke with joy for the first time that evening…the two of them talked a while more about random but nice things and soon eclipse fell asleep, Astro left the lamp on and gave her the best dreams he could make…and finally he to got to rest…
