since the villain family is off recovering in peace and i still wanted to wright stories about this au i came up with this i hope you enjoy

Chapter 1: The Lab Victims

Chapter Text

The Spark of Anarchy

Two years have passed since the Miniforce officially closed the files on the subterranean labyrinth, letting the old scars heal as the surface world enjoyed a long era of uninterrupted peace. But deep within the dense, uncharted wilderness far beyond the city grids, a completely new equation of terror was being calculated.

Dr. Spark, an unhinged mad scientist obsessed with kinetic cybernetics, had been running a highly illegal, black-budget laboratory hidden deep beneath the tectonic fault lines. His goal wasn't global domination or regional conquest; it was pure, unadulterated evolutionary chaos.

Tonight, his containment matrix completely failed. Eight hyper-volatile, weaponized experiments shattered their biological pods and escaped out into the world, carrying surgically embedded arsenal parameters designed to push the Miniforce to their absolute limits:

  • Experiment 1: Rush (Male): A striking red-and-black spotted cheetah engineered with surgically enhanced neurological speed vectors. He carries twin, high-frequency boomerang weapons designed to slice through tactical arrays at hypersonic velocities.
  • Experiment 2: Slash (Male): A heavily armored orange pangolin built for close-quarters demolition. He possesses surgically embedded claws capable of cutting through solid bedrock and is covered in a dense shell of explosive spines he can launch like kinetic missiles.
  • Experiment 3: Blades (Male): A ruthless red-and-golden mantis built for pure offensive impact. His forelimbs are fused with high-speed sawblades engineered to cleanly bisect hardened titanium steel plates.
  • Experiment 4: Scorch (Male): A volatile yellow-and-red lizard carrying an embedded, high-output thermal core directly inside his chest, allowing him to instantaneously shoot plasma fire streams and engulf his entire body in raging flames.
  • Experiment 5: Wing Blade (Male): A predatory dark-blue griffin with advanced aerial dominance parameters. His right arm is fused to a heavy wind cannon that allows him to generate localized, destructive tornadoes and vacuum fields.
  • Experiment 6: Ripple (Male): A mossy green-and-blue frog built for aquatic sabotage. He is capable of manipulating localized water pressure arrays and secreting highly corrosive, acidic bubbles that dissolve armor plating on contact.
  • Experiment 7: Blight (Male): A sleek, silver-and-blue jaguar carrying the lab's most dangerous prototype—a time disruptor embedded directly into his skin, granting him the terrifying ability to temporarily freeze a target completely in place.
  • Experiment 8: Oak (Male): A massive, hulking brown bear acting as the ultimate heavy vanguard. His neurological matrix is bound to organic frequencies, granting him the absolute ability to manipulate and weaponize plant life, turning the surrounding forests into a living cage.

The alarms are blaring across the surface grids, and the primary tactical monitors at Miniforce headquarters are violently flashing red for the first time in two long years.

Into the Breach

The high-pitched wail of the tactical alarm echoed through the main hangar of the Miniforce headquarters, instantly snapping the team out of their two-year routine of peaceful patrols.

Volt, Sammy, Max, and Lucy deployed immediately, their upgraded cruisers tearing through the dense wilderness coordinates provided by Commander Chen. Within twenty minutes, the team stood at the threshold of Dr. Spark's hidden laboratory. The massive, reinforced blast doors hadn't been hacked or bypassed; they had been completely ripped off their hydraulic hinges from the inside, leaving jagged trails of torn titanium steel scattered across the dirt.

The interior of the facility was a scene of absolute, localized anarchy.

Thick clouds of pressurized green cooling steam hissed from shattered pipes, and the ground was slick with synthetic amniotic fluid. Emergency backup lights pulsed a violent, warning crimson against rows of broken glass containment units.

Sitting in the center of the ruined primary laboratory, desperately trying to patch a smoking mainframe terminal with his trembling, grease-stained hands, was Dr. Spark. The mad scientist looked up as the four Miniforce heroes surrounded him, their blasters raised and locked onto his position.

“Dr. Spark, your illegal cybernetic research facility is officially shut down,” Volt commanded, his blue armor plates gleaming under the flashing red warning lights. “Step away from the terminal and keep your hands where we can see them.”

Instead of fighting or fleeing, the mad scientist let out a hollow, terrified laugh, his unhinged eyes snapping from Volt to the rows of ruptured pods behind them.

“Shut down? You think you're shutting me down?” Dr. Spark gasped, his voice frantic. “Look at the diagnostic logs, you fools! I didn't stop the incubation cycles—they did! The baseline parameters failed! The kinetic containment couldn't hold them!”

Lucy stepped forward, her visor scanning the ruptured chambers, her chest tightening as she read the digital data placards still glowing above the shattered glass. “Commander Chen, we have a catastrophic scenario,” she reported back to base through her secure comm-link. “This isn't a routine weapons lab. There are eight hyper-volatile, surgically enhanced cybernetic experiments on the loose out in the world.”

Dr. Spark cowered as Max grabbed him by the shoulder guards, securing him in high-voltage data-shackles. “Eight of them,” the doctor muttered, trembling as the alarms continued to blare. “Rush, Slash, Blades, Scorch, Wing Blade, Ripple, Blight, Oak... They took my weapons prototypes. They took their freedom. And they are going to tear your city down to the ground.”

Volt looked out the shattered exit tunnel leading toward the surface valley, his internal processors registering a massive surge of adrenaline. The era of quiet recovery was officially over; a brand-new storm had just broken containment.

The Blueprint of Agony

The primary briefing room of the Miniforce headquarters was dead silent, save for the rhythmic, low hum of the main supercomputer processing the massive data dump from Dr. Spark’s seized facility.

Volt, Sammy, Max, and Lucy sat around the central console, their optical visors reflecting the scrolling text of the newly decrypted test logs. Several hours had passed since they had locked the mad doctor in a high-security containment cell, but the real weight of the breakout was only now laying itself completely bare.

What they were looking at wasn’t a standard weapons log. It was a horrific, chronological archive of absolute cruelty.

  • Log Entry – Experiment 1 (Rush): “Neurological speed enhancement complete. Kinetic adrenaline pump forced into the muscle tissue at 400% capacity. The subject experienced severe cardiac tremors during the first three hundred cycles. Vocal grids disabled to prevent noise disruption during surgical fusion of the boomerang weapons.”
  • Log Entry – Experiment 4 (Scorch): “Thermal core implanted directly behind the sternum. Internal temperature spiked to 1,200 degrees Celsius during initial ignition. The subject's organic skin melted and fused permanently with the cybernetic plating. Rejection rates are high; continuous internal burning causes severe cognitive aggression.”
  • Log Entry – Experiment 7 (Blight): “Time disruptor skin graft successful. The temporal feedback loop causes the subject’s localized cells to experience rapid decay and artificial freezing simultaneously. Pain metrics are off the charts. The subject remains conscious through the entire calibration.”

Lucy slowly lowered her data pad, her hand trembling slightly as she turned her head away from a video attachment showing Blades screaming inside an extraction harness while heavy sawblades were mechanically welded into his forearm joints.

“This wasn't science,” Lucy whispered, her visor dimming as a profound wave of heavy sorrow washed over her. “It was systematic torture. Dr. Spark didn't just build weapons—he engineered living hells inside their own bodies.”

Max let out a deep, frustrated growl, his heavy fists clenching so tightly against the metal table that the structural alloys groaned. “He forced explosive spines into a pangolin’s back. He tore up a bear’s neural pathways just to hook it up to plant frequencies. No wonder they ripped the blast doors off their hinges.”

Sammy leaned back, his red armor plate reflecting the harsh crimson warning text on the main screen. His own past trauma with the gargling screams of the Goliath flared in his mind, giving him a chillingly clear understanding of what they were dealing with. “They aren't out in the wild running an agenda,” Sammy said, his voice flat and deadly serious. “They are running on pure, unadulterated agony and survival instincts. They don't trust anything that breathes or moves.”

Volt stood up, walking toward the large glass windows looking out over the peaceful city. The two years of quiet recovery had given them peace, but it also meant they had to face a terrifyingly complex reality.

“Stopping them is not going to be easy,” Volt said grimly, his chest plate pulsing with low-voltage blue energy. “They aren't typical villains trying to conquer a grid. They are heavily armed, deeply traumatized, and probably think we've come to put them back in those cages. If we try to just use brute force, they will fight until they break our armor apart.”

Commander Chen walked into the room, his expression heavily lined with concern. “The first proximity alert just tripped, team. We have a massive kinetic energy signature moving at hypersonic speed toward Sector 4.”

Volt turned back around, his eyes locking onto his pack. “Suit up. We find them, but we remember what’s inside those logs. Let's move.”
