Thor desperately clung to Odin's spear, never breaking eye contact with Loki dangling under him.
Loki's anger had faded away, instead replaced by anguish and fear marking his face.
His little brother opened his mouth, clearly about to say something before shutting it again.
Thor reached out his free hand, offering it up for Loki to take, praying that he would take it.
"Loki, this is over! Take my hand and we will sort this all out, I swear!", he shouted to drown out the noise of the waterfalls.
"Thor," Loki whimpered, voice breaking desperately on the single word.
He is going to let go, it crossed Thor's mind, he cannot let go.
"Brother, everything will be alright, I promise you! Just take my hand and I will fix this," Thor plead, tightening his grip on the spear.
"I -", Loki stammered, "Thor - save me."
It was all Thor needed to hear. He reached further, as far as he could, praying for Loki to just take his hand.
He did.
The second Thor had a stable grip on Loki's hand he gave all his strength to pull him upwards and towards what was left of the Rainbowbrigde.
Loki tumbled loudly onto the rest of the bridge and immediately Thor felt Odin tugging at his leg, pulling him upwards with a swift motion.
Thor's face met the bridge a mere metre away from Loki's, whose wide eyes were fixated on Thor's.
He looked scared. Scared of their father most likely.
"Everything will be alright," Thor whispered, taking Loki's hand and squeezing it tight.
I am here. I will keep you save. I promise.
