Work Text:
Yoongi is a nerd who hates clichés.
It was a well known fact that anything cheesy had Yoongi gagging in disgust, more than likely cursing at the scene that had been displayed in front of him. Yoongi hated basic, hated clichés, and anything else relating to that topic.
So, when he found himself falling for a ‘bad boy,’ Yoongi was more than ready to throw himself off a cliff (if Jin hadn’t smacked him upside his head he would have). “Stop being ridiculous,” the elder spoke with a tone, “It’s perfectly common for people like us to fall for people like them.”
“Exactly! It’s way too fucking common! I don’t want to be cliché Hyung!” Jin merely scoffed, gesturing for Yoongi to continue eating his lunch unless he wanted to eat a slap instead.
And that was the end of it. Now, Yoongi was sitting in the library, nose deep in his textbooks. He had exactly three midterms coming up, and he was not one to fail. When Yoongi studied, he preferred the quiet comfort of the library. Something about the warmth the library brought helped Yoongi focus, he could solve all problems here.
Midway through his study session, an abrupt crowd of laughter blasted through the library doors. Everyone, including Yoongi, turned to stare and Yoongi nearly choked on his own spit. There, standing only a few feet away from him, was Jeon Jungkook. Aka, one of the baddest bad boys in this whole college, who just so happened to be the love of Yoongi’s life .
Yoongi rapidly swung back around, immediately beginning to pack up his stuff. Midterms weren’t for another three months anyhow, he had plenty of time to study. Missing one day wouldn’t kill him.
But something else would.
Yoongi had been so caught up in trying to sprint his way out of the library, he ran directly into Jungkook. Now, Jungkook is fit, very fit , and large and wide, and Yoongi was small, so small compared to the younger. The minute he collided with Jungkook’s chest Yoongi had been blown backwards and promptly landed on his ass.
In front of not only Jungkook (his fucking soulmate and reason why he cries at night), but in front of everyone in the library- which included his friends!
“Watch it, dumbass.” Jungkook spat at him, his eyes boring holes into Yoongi’s soul. Now, Yoongi is usually calm, cool, and collected. How-fucking-ever, he was so caught up in admiring Jungkook’s muscles, he freaked and did something horrifying.
“Sorry, daddy.” Yoongi squeaked, and wait, wait, wait.. Did he just say daddy?
“Did- Did you just call me daddy?” Jungkook questioned, a smirk forming on his oh-so perfect lips. Yoongi jumped up, rambling random words that seemed to make sense to him. At this point, he was a fiery red from the tips of his ears all the way to his toes. It didn’t help that everyone was staring at him in shock.
“W-what? H-ha! F-funny! WOW, god look at the time! Time for me to casually stroll away, G’day sir.” Yoongi shouted, dashing out of the library.
“What the fuck!” He hissed to himself, grabbing his hair out of frustration. Just what the hell was he thinking? Why would he say something like that? To Jungkook of all people! Yoongi sighed, sheepishly walking back to his shared dorm with Jin.
----
“Woah, Yoongi are you okay?” Jin asked, pressing the back of his palm to Yoongi’s forehead, checking for a fever. Yoongi cackled, tears bursting out of his eyes. From embarrassment or self-hatred he couldn’t tell.
“Jin, it’s my time. I can’t go on anymore. I just ran into Jungkook and called him daddy in front of everyone at the library. In front of his friends! All of them!” Jin stared at Yoongi for a second or two, before bringing his other hand up to his mouth to stifle a laugh. Yoongi pouted, pushing Jin off him before stomping his way to his room.
“Yoongi, darling, a-are you serious?” Jin’s question only made him pout harder.
“Yes! I did! I can’t return to school! NEVER!” Yoongi leaped onto his bed, burrowing himself underneath his comforters. Jin took this moment to calm himself before going to comfort his best friend.
“Yoongi, your grades will drop tremendously. You can’t do that. Just wait two days and hopefully by that time Jungkook will have forgotten. Okay?” Yoongi gave a small nod as a response. “Good, now let’s eat, shall we?” And Yoongi jumped out of bed. Jin’s food is the best, no doubt in his mind.
----
Two days passed way too fast in Yoongi’s opinion. Seeing as how Jin and Yoongi have all of the same classes, Jin took it upon himself to share his notes with Yoongi. This allowed Yoongi to skip school for two days, just like how Jin suggested.
Now, Yoongi was walking down the corridor, textbooks in his hands when he saw him.
Yoongi quietly let out a squeak, fumbling backwards. Damn did Jungkook look good. Well, he always did but today he looked especially delicious. He was wearing tight black jeans with an equally tight, white shirt. His hair was styled to show a portion of his forehead, and for some reason his earrings sparkled a little brighter also.
Yoongi prayed that Jungkook wouldn’t notice him, prayed that someone would distract the younger from observing people in the halls. Jungkook was leaned up against a wall, his head pressed against the cool surface.
“Wonder who he’s waiting for..” Yoongi mumbled to himself, attempting to use his short height to his advantage. Hiding behind someone seemed like a smart thing to do. But before he could even consider his options, Jungkook’s eyes trailed away from the group of flirtatious cheerleaders and onto him.
They held eye contact for awhile, Yoongi to scared to look away. Jungkook wasn’t doing anything, wasn’t saying anything, just staring. Just staring straight into Yoongi’s eyes, and Yoongi felt as if an invisible force was pulling him towards Jungkook.
Maybe he doesn’t remember? Maybe he forgot about Yoongi already? And although that thought hurt, Yoongi knew he wasn’t anything important to Jungkook. Clutching his textbooks harder against his chest, Yoongi made a quick dash away from the younger boy.
He didn’t stop moving until he was sure that he’d gotten as far away from Jungkook as humanly possible. With a sigh, Yoongi slowed his pace down and strolled through the empty hallway when he was suddenly shoved against the lockers.
He gasped, cowering in on himself, not wanting to face his abuser. Apparently, this made the stranger angry as fingers tangled themselves in his hair and pulled, forcing Yoongi to look up at his tormentor.
“J-Jungkook..” Yoongi mumbled in awe of how beautiful the boy was. God he was even more beautiful up close!
Jungkook chuckled, an evil sound it was, before tugging on Yoongi’s hair a little harder. Yoongi whined and his face instantly flushed at the sound.
“C’mon baby, y’know that’s not my name.. Say it right.” Jungkook’s voice was low and raspy, making a shiver run through Yoongi’s body.
“J-Jun-”
“What did I say?” Jungkook hissed, tightening his hold on Yoongi’s hair even further.” I said call me by my name, slut.”
“I-I’m sorry, daddy..” Yoongi stuttered, tears threatening to pour out of his eyes. Jungkook smiled before releasing his hold on the elder’s hair. Instead, choosing to run his fingers gently through the strands.
“It’s okay, baby. But when daddy says do something, you do it. Okay?” Yoongi nodded.
“Use your words, baby.”
“Yes, daddy.”
“Good, now let’s establish some rules. Firstly, never run away from me like that again. Daddy nearly lost you. Secondly, you are to address me as daddy only. Thirdly, from now on you’re mine, so don’t get any bright ideas. Got it?” Jungkook asked.
“Yes, daddy.” Jungkook smiled even brighter.
“Good now get to class. Here’s my number, save it onto your phone and text me immediately. Bye, baby boy.” And with that Jungkook was gone.
Yoongi couldn’t help the smile that spread across his face.
