    Written for castielinablanket's suggestion that Night Vale isn't real - just delusions from a mentally ill Cecil, living in a mental hospital after a traumatic experience leads him to break down, and that Carlos's visits are rare as he finds it too painful to watch the man he loves deteriorate.

    Just gonna throw it out there that I'm not a med or a psych student, so there will be liberties taken with what little I do know of psychology and the sciences.
