Chapter 2

Summary:

A part of him is disappointed that Kim had already given up trying to talk to him. Maybe he had some family-related errands to do?

Or maybe he really had been too cruel to him that day?

‘You did basically tell him to mind his own business, why are you complaining now?’ The annoying voice at the back of mind tells him.

——
Or where Chay’s still (kinda) stubborn, but then something happens to Kim, which makes him reconsider.

Notes:

I was supposed to update last night but got caught up with work related stuff. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the last chapter!

Chapter Text

“You saw him again?” Aria asks him when meets her after work a few days later, “He’s not following us, is he?” She turns her head, eyes darting around the restaurant, trying to spot Kim potentially hiding somewhere. Aria had decided to meet up with Chay while she was visiting Thailand.

“I don’t know, I don’t care. I don’t want to talk to him yet.”

“But isn’t it a good opportunity to figure out why he did what did back then? Besides, you can’t avoid him forever…unless you want to come back to Hong Kong with me?”

He places his arms on the table, leaning his chin over them. A small pout appears on his face. “I know you’re kidding, but that doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.”

Chay, just go talk to him. You need some closure. What’s the worst that can happen?”

‘Oh, I don’t know…maybe getting my heart broken all over again.’

But Aria is not wrong, he can’t continue running away from this.

“Hey, if he hurts you again, I will not hesitate to help your brother beat him up.” Chay just snorts at the sight of Aria clenching her fists in a fighting pose and putting on a supposedly tough expression on her face.

After some thought, Kim decides he’ll linger in the shadows for now until Chay is ready to talk to him.

Even though Chay asked not to leave him any more food, he ends up leaving another box of snacks and a note telling Chay to contact him whenever he’s ready to talk. He also adds his number (in case he had completely erased it).

He restrains himself from trying to find out other information about Chay, wanting to respect his privacy, for once.

However, out of pure coincidence, he discovers that Chay works at a company involved in event management. His former classmate from university had sent him a link to the company’s social media page, asking him if it’s the same “Porschay” who hadn’t attended his interview with their university that day. Clicking on the link had revealed photos of new employees (and yes, he had spotted Chay among them), welcoming them to their ‘family’.

He himself, as Wik, had already done business with their people previously, and based on the history of this company, at least he knows Chay’s in a good place.

Although he doesn’t make himself visible to him, he secretly attends a charity event which Chay’s team has organised, with Chay himself featured as one of the performers.

It’s been over a week, but Chay still hadn’t tried to contact him - he tries to remain optimistic though, deciding to put the blame on Chay just being busy with the event.

(He blocks out the part in his mind that thinks Chay may just not want anything to do with him anymore.)

As Kim watches him perform from afar, disguised in a cap and sunglasses, he’s just glad to see Chay enjoying himself.

For the first time in a while, there’s a genuine smile on Kim’s face.

As long as Chay always experiences happiness in his life, maybe Kim will be alright just letting him be…even it means that he can’t be a direct part of it.

Kim hadn't shown up at his apartment again since that day, except to leave a box of snacks and a note asking him to contact him once he was okay to talk to him.

He doesn’t show up the next couple of weeks either, Chay notices every time he comes back from work. While he’d been busy preparing for the charity event, he couldn’t help but wonder what happened to Kim.

(He actually slows down his pace on his way into his apartment, in case Kim does eventually show up.)

He almost expects Kim to turn up at his workplace instead, but there’s no sight of him there either.

He actually contemplates calling him. He had finally saved Kim’s number on his phone, since it was previously only present on the old phone which he had blocked him on.

Kim had left the ball in his court. He thinks maybe they can just talk about everything tonight.

His finger hovers over the call symbol beside Kim’s name, still undecided, when his phone suddenly rings, and he picks up straight away. He doesn’t even have time to greet his brother before he’s telling him to come to the main house right this instant. “I’ve already sent someone, they’ll be at your apartment soon.”

Just as he says that, his bodyguards appear and one of the cars he recognises as part of the Theerapanyakul household pulls up in front of him, with the driver urging him to come in quickly.

“Hia? What’s going on?” The panicked tone emitting from his brother is scaring him. A feeling of dread paralyses his body as his brother informs of what has happened.

“Kim’s been kidnapped.”

A punch to his stomach knocks the breath out of him, but besides the aching at the back of his head, overall, he’s not too injured. He’s made to sit up from his slumped position on the ground, arms still tied behind him. Kim can’t see who’s hurting him behind the blindfold, but he’s definitely taken harder hits from other enemies.

He remembers going to the bar to discuss something with one of his family’s allies when they’d asked to show him something. He’d followed them to the back, only to be hit on the head with something.

He should’ve realised something was amiss, but might have been distracted by his thoughts of Chay.

No, he’s not blaming Chay for his dilemma - this could have happened to him at any time. He had just been too careless today.

Kim had been outnumbered when he tried to fight back, so decided to instead save his energy, allowing them to take him easily. He had already been prepared since he was a child anyway.

Besides, they would not be in a rush to kill him.

Despite trying to distance himself from the mafia world, he’d occasionally be targeted as a way to negotiate power from his family. It should not have been, but this was already such a normal occurrence for him.

This is one of the very reasons Kim had tried to distance himself from Chay. He didn’t want Chay’s safety endangered when he already had a huge target on his back. But as everyone keeps reminding him, he’s stupid for pushing him away after already being introduced into the mafia world via Porsche.

Kim already knows his brothers are in the process of rescuing him, if he doesn’t get himself out there before they get there. He also knows Kinn will deal with these traitors later on.

He’s not even sure what these people want from him - all they’ve done so far is roughen him up.

He hisses when someone pulls at his hair roughly.

“Hey, whoa…careful with the hair…I’ve been trying to grow it out a bit longer,” he chuckles at the punch thrown at his jaw in response, and spits out at whoever his captor is. They still haven’t removed the blindfold, but he can make out the movement of someone in front of him.

“You stupid brat. You really don’t want to live, do you?”

“Yeah, whatever, let’s get to the point. What do you want? Money?”

It’s always about the money or power, isn’t it?

It’s in these moments he wonders how life would be like if his family wasn’t so rich, or at the very least not involved in such activities. Perhaps he’d be able to live a more normal life (as normal as it can get if this alternate life still allows him to be ‘Wik’), and maybe, just maybe, he would still have someone like Chay with him.

He shakes his head, wanting to laugh at himself. Damn it, he’s still thinking about him while someone’s in the middle of threatening him.

“WHERE DID YOU PUT THEM, HUH?” The man yells in his face, as if that’ll frighten him. If only they could see him rolling his eyes. It’s not like he can read his mind!

“You really need to be more specific, we have plenty of enemies,” His snark is met by another hit to his face, causing him to wince slightly at the headache made worse by hitting the wall.

Kim realises he’s been set against some type of wall, so has already started twisting his thumbs and fingers to get out of the ropes binding him. Huh, he can feel them loosening already - these people seem like amateurs.

“The stash of paintings! You know how valuable they are! Where have you moved them?”

He knows what they’re referring to, but pretends to think about it. He remembers giving orders to destroy those paintings, and the items secretly embedded inside them. But he can’t tell him that. “Hmm, I’m really not sure. You’ll have to ask my brother.”

“Damn it!” He feels himself being dragged up by the collar of his shirt, but before they can do anymore damage, the sound of a gunshot is released and the grip loosens completely.

“Kim!” he hears Kinn yelling out to him.

Ah damn, he thought he’d be able to escape before Kinn arrived.

Oh well, there’s always going to be a next time.

He completely removes the ropes around his wrists, reaching to pull off the blindfold. He blinks, waiting for his vision to adjust.

But nothing changes.

All he can see is darkness and moving white dots lining his vision. He rubs his eyes with his fingers but there’s still no improvement.

Why can’t he see? He knows there’s always a risk of injury when being taken, but he hadn’t anticipated his vision being affected. He shakes his head, but that does nothing to help his vision, only worsening his headache.

What’s wrong with his eyes? His breathing speeds up and he’s almost certain it’s Kinn who’s trying to check up on him, but he doesn’t know, because he can’t see!

“Kim, can you hear me? Kim!” That’s the last thing he hears before he falls unconscious.

The next time he’s awake, it’s to the sound of a constant beeping in the background. He guesses he’s at the hospital. He winces at the dull ache in the back of his head, attempting to make himself more comfortable in the bed.

He opens his eyes, before realising that there’s still something wrong with his vision. He tries to wave his hands in front of his face, but can only make out vague outlines of them.

“Kim?” He recognises his older brother’s voice in his darkness. He tries to reach out to Kinn, feeling a hand grab one of his.

“...I can’t see. Why can’t I see?”

“What- I’ll call the doctor.”

“The trauma on your head must have impacted your vision,” he hears the doctor inform them.

Kim doesn’t know how to react to that news. This can change his life. He won’t be able to perform his music properly, won’t be able to see anyone, including Chay.

Kinn squeezes his hand, and he can only imagine his brother staring at him with pity.

His brother asks him what he’s too afraid to ask the doctor. “Is it permanent?”

“No, fortunately it looks like it’s temporary. After doing some scans, we can confirm there was no significant damage to any important nerves in the eyes, so your vision will recover. It may take a a few days, but it looks like your vision has already started clearing up since a few hours ago.”

Relief washes over him. He’s okay with that. Well, not completely, since he knows won’t be left alone until he recovers, but at least he can be sure that his vision will come back soon.

He tells himself he’s only visiting Kim to finally have their long-awaited talk, that they shouldn’t delay it any longer, so he should see him today.

(It’s definitely not just an excuse to confirm that he’s alive and safe.)

Kim’s asleep when Chay decides to visit him at the hospital.

He’s relieved that he’d escaped mostly unscathed, besides a few bruises and the temporary vision loss. He watches Kim for a while, contemplating if he should just come another time when he’s awake, but becomes concerned when the man starts to toss and turn in his bed. His eyes are still closed, so Chay suspects it’s a bad dream.

Kim groans as if in pain. Chay moves to leave so Kim can have his privacy, but stops at the sound of his name, “Chay, please don’t do this. They’re not good for you!”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t- I didn’t mean to!” The single tear falling freely down Kim’s cheek doesn’t go unnoticed by Chay.

“I won’t leave you. Please s-stop running away from me! Chay!” He’s frozen in place, not sure if he should wake him up or just leave, but then the older man jolts awake.

He watches as Kim takes huge breaths in and out until he’s calmed down, before noticing Chay’s presence. He squints his eyes as he turns to look straight into the Chay’s direction.

“Who’s there?” Chay stays quiet, placing a hand over his mouth to cover the gasp that threatens to escape, surprised by the wetness that comes in contact with his palm.

“Who are you and why are you here?” He flinches at Kim’s raised voice, reminded of the time when Kim had raised his voice at him at the bar.

Should he just reveal who he is?

“Kim, it’s okay.” Kim turns to the direction of his brother’s voice. Chay doesn’t know when he first came in, but is thankful when Kinn gestures for Chay to leave.

He silently leaves, hearing the brothers’ conversation behind him.

“Who was that, and why didn’t they say anything?” Kim asks his brother.

“Just the cleaner, probably too shocked when you had your nightmare.”

Kim seems to accept his brother’s lie. “Oh. Tell him or her that I’m sorry for yelling.”

“Here,” Kinn hands him some tissues, which he gratefully accepts. Kinn sits down in the seat next to him.

“You probably have more unanswered questions.”

“Has he always had nightmares about me?”

“I think they started a few weeks after you left for Hong Kong. He kept it mostly to himself, so we didn’t find out about it until sometime after his Asia tour, when he got injured during a shootout and had to stay at the main house.”

Chay feels terrible that Kim had to suffer like that on his own. But he also knows it’s not his fault.

“Kim hasn’t been the same since you left, but I tried to distract him with some tasks whenever he wasn’t doing anything related to his music. He could barely write any new songs for his tour at the time, but luckily he already had some hidden tracks recorded, which was enough to keep his fans satisfied. Since you blocked him and changed your number, he was constantly asking me to let him to talk to you.”

“Um, yeah…sorry,” Chay releases a nervous laugh.

“Don’t apologise. He needed to realise that you can’t forgive him easily, and I know I can’t push you, but I hope that you’ll allow for him to explain himself soon. Like how Porsche worries about you, I also worry about my younger brother and I know there are certain things in his life that have affected how he approaches certain situations.

“I know he could’ve been less harsh on you, but I believe he did genuinely care for you back then, and wants to make it up to you. With these recent events and the possibility of future incidents, I can only hope you don’t leave it too late.”

Chay gulps, realising how fatal things could’ve turned the other day, if there was one wrong move.

“I agree too,” Chay looks up at his brother, eyes trailing on him as he leans against the wall across from their seats. He hands Chay a bottle of water.

“Hia, you think I should talk with him too?”

“Over the last three years he only ever asked about you whenever he came over to the main house. I did want him to suffer for a while for hurting you, but I think he already received the karma he deserved by losing you in his life for so long. I know you’re still hurting too, Chay. I just think after all this time, you should both get the closure you two need and then decide what you want to do moving forward. I’ll support you in whatever you decide.”

If even his brother is willing to give Kim a chance, maybe it’s a sign he should finally let Kim explain his side of the situation.

He doesn’t know where he is, but he finds himself face-to-face with Chay.

“Chay,” he whispers, frowning at the dark circles under the younger’s eyes.

He almost looks the same, but his skin is much paler than before, and his hair is greasy like it hasn’t been washed in ages.

“I hate you, Kim! This is all your fault! You’re the reason why my future is ruined!” Chay glares at him.

“I didn’t mean for things to go the way they were, I’m sorry! Please let me make it up to you.” Kim tries to hold onto the younger man, but Chay pushes him to the ground.

Chay smirks down at him - the expression doesn’t suit his face.

“You know, if you hadn’t left me upset that day, none of this would have happened.”

“Chay, I’m s-”

“Stop saying sorry!” he rushes towards him and he feels a strong force suddenly gripping his throat. He struggles to breathe.

“C-chay, p-pleas-”

He feels himself running short of breath, and as his world fades, he hears one last thing from him. “This is all your damn fault, you need to pay for what you’ve done!”

He springs up in his bed, breathing heavily. His eyes are wide open, his heart’s pounding in his chest, and he can’t ignore the slight dampness of his covers. He sighs as he wipes the layer of perspiration from his face.

“Damn it.”

Another nightmare.

Although they always appear slightly different, Kim has not stopped experiencing these nightmares ever since Chay blocked his number, even after Chay reappeared in his life.

It’s the second one he’s had in the last few days, but it’s been a while since he last had this particular nightmare.

At least it’s not one where nightmare-Chay lets Kim embrace him before shooting him, or the one where nightmare-Chay just lets him chase after him in a dark void without ever stopping until Kim’s tired and his legs give out and nightmare-Chay mocks him for giving up.

Kim takes deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. He rubs his eyes, squinting at the brightness in the room. His vision has almost cleared up, but there are still a few dark spots which randomly appear in his corners of sight. He had been moved from the hospital to the main house, now that his vision had become better.

He wants to move back to his own apartment, but his family wants him to stay until his vision is fully restored, and until they’ve weeded out the traitors responsible for Kim’s capture that day.

He’s a little disappointed that Chay hasn’t come to check on him, but then again, why would he visit him?

He looks up at the sound of a knock at his door.

“Come in,” He expects one of his brothers to come in, but instead is met with the sight of…Chay? Chay waves at him awkwardly.

Kim remains calm, trying to figure out if it’s the beginning of another nightmare. He pinches himself, and winces when it hurts.

“Uh, what are you doing?” Chay’s looking at him with furrowed eyebrows.

“Nothing,” he clears his throat. So this is clearly reality, though he’s not sure why Chay is here. “What brings you here?”

‘Are you here to tell me how much you hate me?’ he doesn’t ask aloud.

“I’m here to see how you are. I heard about what happened, and the issue with your eyes. It’s good that you’re getting better.”

Kim nods, the corners of his mouth twitching upwards slightly. He’s grateful that Chay at least doesn’t hate him enough to not visit him after such incidents.

“And, if you’re not busy, maybe we can talk about what happened back then.”

“Yeah?“ his heart soars, but he reminds himself not to feel too happy about it.

This doesn’t mean anything.

Chay can still choose not to forgive him.

“I’m definitely free to talk right now,” he tells Chay, but quickly adds, “that is, if you’re completely okay as well.”

“Then I’ll take a seat.” Chay moves a chair closer to his bed, looking at him expectantly.

He gulps, trying to figure how to start.

“Chay, first of all, I’m so sorry for what I’ve done and said back then.” He waits to see if there’s any immediate reaction to his words, but Chay just stares back at him, nodding for him to continue.

He sighs before explaining everything to Chay.

He explains the lack of trust running deep between his family and the minor family, the initial suspicion over Porsche, and the genuine interest in the ‘Wik’ fanboy before finding out he was related to his brother’s latest bodyguard.

He tells him the way he had tried to focus on finding out about Porsche, but kept coming back to Chay because he’d wanted to see him instead, and at times almost forgot about his initial investigations.

Kim describes the way he couldn’t remember when his heart had slowly melted for the boy, who was brave enough to confess to him with his own love song, but only realised too late when he was in far too deep. He explains the dread he’d felt during Chay’s kidnapping and his vow to never let that happen again.

“I thought I was doing the right thing, by keeping my distance and cutting ties with you, so I could make sure you were safe and-”

Chay interrupts him, “I know you’re aware of the whole Porsche-bringing-me-into-the-mafia-thing, but did you forget that you’re a  famous musician ? Even before I knew about the mafia stuff, I already prepared myself for the possibilities...have you seen how possessive some of your fans are?”

“I didn’t consider that either,” probably because his fans had never had to worry about the possibility of him being anything other than single, until Chay had come along.

He’ll have to keep an eye on any suspicious fan activity from now on. (Well, only if Chay remains involved in this life after his explanation.)

“But yeah, I wanted to keep you out of danger. But then I started finding out things about your parent’s deaths and my father’s involvement so I thought you would hate me anyway.” Kim speaks again before Chay can open his mouth again, “And yes, your brother already told me off for not discussing it with him, or at least Kinn. I know, once again, I hadn’t thought about it until was too late.” He releases a bitter chuckle.

All this could’ve been avoided if he’d just communicated better.

“I also didn’t mean to make you feel like you were untalented when I told you I was only tutoring you because of Porsche. I did genuinely believe that you would impress everyone at the interview! And then I didn’t expect to see you throwing your future away that night at the bar. I was just so disappointed to see you there, that I lost my temper. But I didn’t mean to be harsh to you back then!” Chay nods at his words before shifting his eyes to the ground.

Kim pauses, waiting to see if he wants to say anything. He doesn’t, but then Kim hears his sniffs and when the younger faces Kim again, Kim’s heart aches at the teary eyed man in front of him.

He restrains himself from attempting to wipe away his tears because he doesn’t know if Chay will let him and he doesn’t want to push outside his boundaries.

Chay finally gestures with his hand for Kim to continue, still staying quiet.

“I…I went to find you to convince you to retake the interview. But I messed up that night, and then you left and I couldn’t do anything to fix it…which I guess now leads up to this moment.” A bittersweet smile crosses his face.

Urgh, he’s trying to stay strong in front of Chay, but why can’t he swallow down that lump in his throat?

“As for the answer to your question back then…I did love you, and I s-still do,” he hates that his voice cracks, “I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to tell you that back then, when you needed to hear it the most.”

Kim looks down at his sheets when he finishes, fidgeting with the rings on his fingers as a tear of his own falls down onto his hand.

There, he’s finally explained everything. If Chay wants to walk away from him right now, Kim cannot stop him.

“I forgive you.” It’s low, but he manages to make out Chay’s words.

Huh? Had he heard correctly?

A hand stops his fidgeting, and he looks up, right into Chay’s eyes. “I was so upset back then, but I can now understand your reasons and your regrets. I forgive you, and no, I never hated you.”

“R-really?” Kim smiles at the other through his tears, grabbing onto his hand.

“But,” Kim pauses his inner celebration, afraid of Chay’s next words, Chay pauses to wipe his own tears with his free hand, before continuing, “I want us to start over as friends. It’s been so long and things have changed, Kim. I want to get to know you properly. You can say that you love me, but I need to see you prove it.”

“I’ll prove it to you,” he utters. He’s a little disheartened, but he understands they can never go back to their once innocent love. However, he will show Chay that he loves him and won’t ever leave him again.

Even though Chay says he forgives him, he treads cautiously, not wanting to mess up again.

He doesn’t miss the way Porsche had glared holes into his soul the whole time upon finding out he’d rekindled his relationship (still only as friends) with Chay, when they’re having dinner together at the main home.

Porsche later on pulls him aside to warn him of the consequences if he hurts his little brother again.

He looks him directly in the eyes and tells him that he’s not afraid because he won’t ever hurt him again. That, for now, seems to be satisfactory for Porsche.

“By the way, thank you for convincing him to talk to me.” Porsche nods, before patting his shoulder.

“Just don’t make me regret it.”

It’s interesting how fate works because a few weeks later his manager informs him they’ve been sent an email from a staff member from a certain company. The email is a request to be involved in a local charity event to help raise funds for awareness of people with debilitating conditions, such as loss of vision. Kim agrees to participate.

“Did you arrange this?” Chay asks him when he later finds out that Wik is collaborating with his company.

He shakes his head, putting his hands up in front of him. “Nope, not at all, someone from your company actually requested me.”

“Why didn’t you tell me when you first knew?”

“I assumed you already knew?”

“No, they only passed the project details onto us just recently.” Chay mutters.

“But you’re not complaining, right? More time with me.”

He chuckles as Chay just rolls his eyes, not missing the way Chay’s face flushes at his words.

The two had grown closer while spending the last couple of months together organising the event, though they were still just friends.

Being around Chay had reinforced his feelings for him, so Kim continues waiting patiently for Chay to initiate a conversation, if he ever wants to be more than friends. Right now though, he’s just satisfied with having Chay in his life.

(Also, since their conversation that day, his nightmares seemed to have stopped almost altogether. He does get the occasional nightmare, but nightmare-Chay is not as cruel.)

However, he does wonder what goes through Chay’s mind when they’re put in supposedly awkward situations, such as when their hands occasionally touch accidentally whenever they’re discussing documents and set lists. Or when Chay’s colleagues not-so-secretly try to push for them to be sitting next to each other in any setting, whether it’s a meeting, or a rehearsal, or a team dinner.

As expected, the event is a huge success, with many people, including some of his fans, coming to see Kim during the charity event.

Some of Wik’s fans request photos, which he kindly accepts, going along with their hugging or hand-holding poses.

When the event is finally over and the two are left alone, Chay doesn’t speak with him.

Kim frowns. What had he done wrong? He doesn’t remember doing anything tonight that should upset him.

“Chay?” Chay ignores him, only looking directly ahead as they walk towards their driver’s car.

He follows after him but is interrupted by another voice. “Wik!” Turns out one more person would like to take a photo with him. He’s caught off guard by the annoyed look on Chay’s face, but agrees to the photo.

Afterwards, the fan hugs him, gushing about how much she appreciates his projects, while failing to notice the glare Chay gives her from behind.

Kim, however, has already seen his expression, confirming his suspicion. He smiles to himself.

When they’re in the car, Chay still refuses to exchange words with him.

“Hey, what’s wrong?”

Chay only crosses his arm, remaining silent.

Kim smirks. “Hmm, tonight went really well, don’t you think? I’m really glad my fans could be there for this, and you know, that last fan was really adorable.”

Chay frowns and Kim can hear him muttering something under his breath.

“Huh?”

“Go and be with her then!”

“I’ll think about it...”

“Hey!” Chay slaps him lightly on the shoulder.

“Chay, I’m just kidding! Are you really jealous of those fans?”

Chay huffs, “...maybe.”

“Oho come here,” he pulls Chay’s body close to him, Chay resisting at first before slowly melting into his embrace.

“Chay, you should know you’re already my favourite fan. Well, my favourite person.”

“As your most favourite person, can I ask you something?”

He quirks up an eyebrow. “Sure?”

“Can we stop being just friends?” Kim freezes. He’s been waiting for this moment to arrive.

“Are you sure, Chay?” He almost whispers, afraid that Chay will change his mind.

Chay nods. “Yes, I’m certain. I already made up my mind a few days ago but just wanted to wait until this event was over. I still love you and the many sides of you that you’ve revealed to me.”

“Are you sure it wasn’t because you saw me with my fans? Ow!” He yelps as Chay moves to hit him again.

“But yes,” he responds to Chay’s question, because this time he wants to convey his answer clearly, “let’s be more than friends.”

“I loved you back then and I still love you to this day.” He takes Chay hand in his, feeling his own face heat up. He’s not used to expressing himself like this, but Kim thinks it’s worth it when he see Chay’s face light up.

The two stay in the comfort of each other, Kim laying his head on Chay’s as the car continues silently to their destination.

A moment later, Chay turns his body again to look at him. “You’re mine, Kim…only mine,” The younger man says and before Kim can respond, he feels Chay’s lips on his cheek. It’s only a quick peck, but Kim’s eyes are wide from the sudden gesture, causing Chay to giggle.

“I’m yours”, he breathes, “kiss me again, please.” Chay carries out his request, this time targeting his lips.

Notes:

Thank you once again for reading!

I realllly wanted to add a scene where Chay discovers different little things about Kim once they made up, but considering the little KimChay scenes we get on the series (which I understand since they’re still a side pairing), I don’t really know what Kim likes (besides Chay)!

What alcoholic beverage does he like to drink?
Is he afraid of spiders?
How does he like his eggs? I mean, he never got to eat the ones Chay made for him from ep 10 :-(

Anyway, hopefully KimChay get a happy ending in the series (though not sure how they’ll finish it up in this season).

Notes:

thank you for reading!! please let me know if you like it, kudos and comments are always appreciated!
