Chapter Text
The morning was greeted with Todoroki standing awkwardly in the kitchen with a bouquet of dandelions and a few of the teacher's special flowers. He was waiting for Ojiro; and seemed to neither hear nor see anyone else when they asked him what was up.
"Holy crap. This is gonna be good." Bakugou let out a wicked snicker when he entered the common room, where breakfast had already been cooked by Sato. It had been a relief because he really hadn't wanted to go to the cafeteria or cook himself. The dreams had relented after his cold shower but he was still exhausted.
"He's been standing there for like… an hour." Mina spoke up, sitting backwards on the couch so she could watch Bakugou collect a plate with some eggs and meat. "He's a zombie. We're taking bets on who he's waiting for. I think it's Midoriya."
To which Bakugou let out a loud snort, almost losing the bacon between his teeth.
"Denki thinks it's Momo. Lame guess."
"Hey!" The blond poked up from where he'd been laying across Mina's legs.
"My guess was Momo, actually!" Jiro frowned, placing a piece of fruit in her mouth. She pulled out a hundred yen and placed it in the center of the table. "Bakugou is out."
"Bakubro was my guess!" Kirishima piped up from the floor.
"You thought Icy Hot was making googly eyes at me?!" Bakugou eyed Kirishima, sharply, a touch of offense in his tone. He'd missed the fact the redhead was there at all. "The fuck? I didn't even talk to that bastard past insulting him."
Kirishima grinned toothily in response.
"Guys, he was really out of it last night. It's not nice to tease." Tsu added from her place on the far couch.
"Maybe we should go get help. " Yaoyorozu frowned as she looked at Tsu.
Just then Midoriya came down the steps and into the room. "Morning."
For a moment the room held their breath, but the moment Todoroki didn't even respond was met with Denki groaning loudly and several people's money slid into the ever growing pot.
"Deku! Corner." Bakugou demanded, walking to the chairs in said corner and slamming down his heaping plate on the small table between them.
"Can I get breakfast?" Izuku furrowed his brow and glanced at the food as his stomach grumbled. He looked at the fire in Bakugou's gaze, and came without waiting for an answer.
Before the explosive blond could comment, Midoriya spoke. "You have to fill out your incident report before you can go to class."
At the rushed comment Bakugou paused, as though he'd been caught off guard enough for his brain to stall for a moment. He wasn't actually going to yell at the nerd, but now he desperately wanted to. Instead he breathed in through his nose and leaned back into his chair. He'd forgotten about the report, sure, but he'd had a lot on his mind.
"Who cares about the stupid report?" He used the comment to center himself and looked away. "Icy Hot is clearly useless. So I needed to know if you had any weird freaky dreams after that whole shitty mission. That's all. Tch."
A held breath escaped Midoriya's lips and he blinked at his friend. "Weird dreams? Yeah. Actually." he hadn't really 'slept' until he'd been stationary, but he'd gone through the whole night with ... interesting desires.
"Like, how weird? Kinky? Freaky? Both? Shit you never dreamed about before and never want to again that might fall into all the above categories?" Bakugou had to know, even if he felt weirdly exposed listing off the vague contents of his own dreams in a way that actually exposed nothing but the fact he'd had them.
Izuku turned bright red and nodded once very slowly. "I had weird thoughts about Tokoyami!" He hiss whispered, eyes wide. Bakugou opened his mouth, but nothing came out. His eyes flicked towards the elevator.
It was then that Ojiro had finally come down with Koda and Shoji to either side of him. Todoroki sprang to life, moving to the boy in the middle. "Ojiro?" He pushed the flowers before him looking up into the other's eyes. "Will you marry me?"
Ojiro was a stuttering, confused mess, though he somehow didn't blush. It was impressive, really.
"Okay, yeah. That proves it." Bakugou had enough information now to know they'd all had a freakin' weird night. "Think he's still under it."
"Todoroki, we're sixteen. Sixteen year olds can't get married." Came Tailman's excuse as he formed an X with his arms across his chest.
Todoroki frowned, lowering the mismatched bouquet ever so slightly. "But I think I'm in love with your tail!"
Midoriya's eyes went wide and as he tried to process everything, grabbed the messy plate Bakugou was ignoring and started eating. At this point Bakugou didn't even look to care, which might have seemed a bit out of character, though it was hard to tell when everyone else was fixated on the two boys in the doorway.
Ojiro was looking for someone, anyone to rescue him.
"Todoroki, my tail doesn't have autonomy. You were just cuddling up to it last night when I helped you up to your room, man. Something must have happened in your mission, yesterday? Maybe you're having quirk aftershocks. Can't you sleep on it?"
"Icy Hot proposes to an extra and gets rejected!" Bakugou knew what he'd almost done the night before and was extra glad he hadn't. "Hey, dumbass! Use your braincell! Tail boy is right!"
Shoto blinked, looking from Ojiro to the bouquet of flowers in his hands. "So that's a no?"
Though Bakugou tipped towards Deku again and this time was quieter. "You have any normal fantasies, too or just his weird ones? Give me a timeline."
Yeah, he was fucking aware that Deku could read his questions like the book they were but he had to know.
Izuku paused mid bite and almost chocked over the bits of toast he was eating. "Oh um. Well. Yes? " he squeaked, glad no one was paying the two of them any mind.
"Timeline?" Bakugou reiterated, sounding a touch more pissed this time. He didn't care what Midoriya was dreaming about, just the sequence of it. "Freaky dreams, regular sex dreams, then? You wake up at all? Cold shower? This ain’t a teen drama, cliffhangers are bullshit!"
His tone had raised a bit, a few eyes had almost shifted, up until Ojiro froze up like a tree trunk. "PLEASE ASK AGAIN IN A WEEK I'M LATE FOR MY SKYDIVING EXAM!"
And with that Mashirao booked it for the front door, tail leaping over both Todoroki and the couch full of girls (and Kaminari) in his haste to exit.
Todoroki blinked as if he had actually been stunned by the response. He turned, headed over to Bakugou and Midoriya, and placed the flowers before Izuku. With a stunned expression he spoke, "I'm going to see if recovery girl is around. My heart hurts and I feel funny. You two should do the same."
And without another word, Shoto walked straight out of the dorm.
Between being yelled at by Kacchan and Todoroki's more over the top strangeness than normal, Midoriya had no idea what was going on anymore.
"Normal, weird and kinky, really weird and then normal before kinky woke me up. " He blinked down at his pilfered plate. There was no way Izuku could blush any redder, but he'd lost his appetite. "I think. Todoroki had a point. There might be something wrong with us." He didn't want to think about the weird things Tokoyami had done in said dreams.
"It's the quirk." Bakugou snapped, his version of reassuring. "I took a cold shower with Kirishima, then dreams were normal the rest of the night. Think I'm over it. Maybe do the same and it'll wear off faster."
Midoriya had been in the process of standing when he stopped. He was unable to help the long 'oh' that escaped as he stared at Bakugou with a wide eyed expression.
"What? I ju-" The moment Katsuki replayed the comment in his head he was slapped in the face with red. "Nothing happened, you dipshit! I just couldn't get rid of- it was hard- I HAVE A REPORT TO FINISH!" His clenched hands exploded, an exclamation point that was entirely unnecessary.
All the attention that had been in Todoroki and Ojiro snapped to them. Half standing, Izuku stumbled backwards, tangling in the chair.
Kirishima had stood, but hadn't said anything. He, too, was slightly pink around the ears and cheeks.
It wasn't as though Bakugou blowing up at Midoriya was anything out of the ordinary, but considering the quality of the morning's tea, No one wanted to miss out.
Bakugou stood and stomped over to the others with a snarl on his entire face. He grabbed Kirishima by the front of his shirt and scanned the rest of the room. "Who else wants to get added to the report?"
"Oh Bakubabe," Mina chuckled, almost apologetically. "From what we've heard this morning, you are not saying what you think you are, right now."
Kirishima flushed deeper, not stopping Bakugou from grabbing him, but also not sure what was going on. "Like. If you need to blow off steam, we can spar?"
Toru and Koda had moved to help the flustered Midoriya untangle from the broken chair as the drama on the couches continued to intensify.
"You know we don't stand a chance against you! " Sero lifted his hands up in a 'we're defenseless' sort of gesture.
Bakugou's glare flicked towards Kirishima, where his eyes twitched and he turned, attempting to pull the redhead with him. "This is your fault. You're helping me with the stupid report!"
And he went, with no resistance whatsoever. Kirishima did, however, flush deeper, and look longingly over his shoulder at his half eaten food.
"Ouchie." Deku mumbled, taking Koda's arm as he was finally freed from the wreckage that had been a chair.
Looking down at the table, Mina considered the pile of loose bills and change and scooted to make room when Midoriya and Koda decided to squeeze in, inadvertently shifting Kaminari as she did so. Immediately the blond readjusted to sling his head into Midoriya’s lap.
Mina flashed a devilish smirk. "How about we shift the bet? Who wants to bet on whether or not Bakugou is really making Kiri help him with that report or if they’re ‘sparring’? You guys who just showed up are welcome to join in."
"I mean, he can't go to class if he doesn't finish his report." Midoriya chimed, feeling bruised and confused by everything that had happened the last twelve hours.
"So that's a 'Yes' for Midoriya." The dark eyed girl scribbled onto the notebook. Her own name was scrawled under 'Hit that, Kiri', whatever that meant.
"Can I go down for both?" Kaminari had rolled over onto his side to get a good glance at the paper.
"I don't think Kacchan is gonna appreciate this." Midoriya sighed, sitting back and getting slightly uncomfortable by just how close everyone was. Maybe he wasn't quite in the clear from the aftereffects of Succubus's quirk, just as Bakugou had suggested.
He was going to need that cold shower, after all.
