Chapter 2: Let's read together again [fanart]

An illustration of Twelve and Amy standing together in a library, inspired by the few images of the TARDIS library we see in Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS. Twelve has his arms crossed and is holding a book in one hand. He’s wearing a white buttoned-up shirt, a black waistcoat and dark grey trousers. Amy is hugging him from behind, she’s kind of slouching, leaning on him, her arms and chin resting on his shoulders. She’s smiling, glancing sideways up at him. Twelve is smiling back at her, also glancing her way. He is frowning slightly as if he disapproves a little, but can’t help smiling anyway. Amy is wearing her round reading glasses, a bright red sweatshirt, and blue jeans. She’s also wearing red nail polish. In the background, there are a few bookshelves with books of various hues on them. Some shelves also have bottles with colourful floating substances in them, inspired by the bottles that seemed to contain knowledge in ethereal form in the aforementioned episode. There’s also a glowing transparent blue cube with a plant in it. There is a wooden floor. At the very back, the background is a soft purple with a barely sketched suggestion of more bookshelves and some staircase railings. There are also three small floating lamps in a warm yellow.

Notes:

silveradept, I hope you like it! This idea that Amy would be proud that the Doctor kind of "inherited" her accent, and would tease him about it, had crossed my mind a few times before. So when I saw Amy & Twelve in your list of tags, I knew I wanted to draw this scene! It was very fun.

I also wanted to draw this little cozy thing in the library. At that point, I guess Amy is totally used to the Doctor's new face :)

For the comic, I might add some disjointed bonus panels at some point in the future (kind of want a proper Rory cameo now, not just him off panel haha). That would probably be in a while though!
