Chapter Text
As I speed ran the universe, stars appeared to be passing me. Technology was labeling all the galaxies in view. Then, with a blink, a laser that looked like a star smashed into my cockpit, then into my shoulder. My lasts thoughts were, "Who would have done this to us?" I shot my last look at my research partner before I fainted from anaphylactic shock. Despite my lack of consciousness, I could feel the heat as Radiant Pillar BC-1 rubbed against the atmosphere of a nearby planet, setting the ship on fire. After what felt like eons later, I woke up, I was lying down next to a red ship with sparks coming out of the engine. The snow was immediately melted and dripped into the crater my ship made. There was a giant crack in the ship's glass, and through it, I could see blood. It camouflaged well with the red velvet chair, however. My exosuit was saying something I could barely understand. "LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEMS - ONLINE. MULTITOOL MINING SYSTEM - ONLINE. JET PROPULSION - ONLINE."
I got up, fumbling around like a Snorlax sleeping on a bridge after they struck to reality. I held up my multitool, and it was marinated in dirt and rust. I put it away, and I stumbled over to my cargo. The boxes were also extremely ugly. I figured they must had blasted out from the impact, judging from the crater under my ship. The largest green containers somehow got filled with rusty metal, and disgusting goop. From the tiny red and yellow containers, I retrieved essentials. It would be helpful, mostly because I was surrounded by snow. I checked my multitool. The scanner got dislocated and dented, so I had to find some ferrite dust, according to my exosuit. I had no idea what ferrite dust was, probably from memory loss.
I walked towards the ship, and I pulled out an SFCD, or a Starship Function Control Device, and pressed then held the button that showed 'X'. The glass rose up as quick as a fly when it sees a swatter, and out of a small "empty" slot, came a foldable stainless steel ramp, which luckily was completely working. I walked up and jumped on the dark red velvet chair, and pressed a button on Radiant Pillar's control panel. Then, on the screen, was something very predictable.

I have no sense of how I got here, and what happened. I am stranded on this strange planet, with no protection, with danger unpredictable. Sentinels, predators, and hazardous plants. The screen blurred like when you switch a channel on the TV, and then it said something different.
RADIANT PILLAR BC-1 - DAMAGED. REQUEST ASSISTENCE OR LEAVE?
I tapped Request Assistance, believing that someone could be here, waiting to help. I gaze at the sunny sky, and I can see other ships passing by, stars, birds, and much more. I decided to leave my ship, and start repairing it. I got an Exosuit Notice telling me to go towards my Distress Beacon and salvage whatever I can from it. So, I went towards it, and turned it on. No signals went out, but it opened a small hatch, and I removed a planetary chart that could help with my journey. I pulled it out of my Exosuit, and tapped 'Plot Route'. Then I stopped, and it sent out a large beam of light up the sky, and back down in just five seconds. Then, suddenly on my visor, I saw something that looked like a crescent. When I stared directly at it, my visor showed "Stranger's Coordinates?".
I was about to go on an expedition, when I realized that I had a partner inside my ship. I sprinted back to my ship, trying to ignore the pain of a broken ribcage :). I opened the glass, and saw my Korvax partner camouflaged in the rough, torn red velvet chairs. Yes, he was camouflaged, he had a red cape over his body. On his side of the ship, the arm rest and storage compartments were splattered in blood. I looked at his shoulder, and it had a literal hole in it. I could see the red-velvet chair behind the hole. People think Korvax are just robots, but that's not true, according to my eyes. I remembered that he was my brother. I didn't know if he was alive. And then I cried.
