After Phayu brought back from his home, he was quite unsure for a few minutes but Rain was adamant on what he wanted so he began "P,Phayu, can I ask you something?" Phayu nodded so Rain continued "why did you run away after seeing me in your home? Should I have not come?" Phayu smiled at the innocence and heart broken tone of the question and replied "I have very many monsters running in my head sweet boy. One of them unleashed itself on me right there and so I ran away. Yesterday night, I did something bad. And I thought that you might not like me ever if you come to know about that. So, I ran away."
Rain contemplated and said "were you the one who killed Stop?" Phayu's breathing stopped for a second and he raised his eyes to observe Rain, gently nodding his head after. Rain gave him a small smile and said "you didn't have to go that far to keep me safe phi. I am sure a threat from P'Pakin would have been enough. And woah, he looked quite horrific in the picture. I don't want to know how you did it though." Phayu was startled at that and asked "are you not afraid of me Rain? And what have I just done? How did you even come to know about this?"
Rain cuddled closer to him and replied "yesterday night when I was scrolling through social media while waiting for you, it suddenly trended as top search. He was the youngest son of a very wealthy family and was missing for a few weeks. Then he was found bloodied and murdered. Nobody knew the who and how. Whatever you told me yesterday night and the sudden news was just too much to not connect the dots. And, I am not afraid of you or because of you P'Phayu. I trust you that you will never unleash your wrath on me, except on bed of course, and will always keep me safe. The news only served to prove me right." Phayu hugged him tightly and said "you are a very observant boy when you want to be, aren't you my cheeky boy?"
rain whined and said "to keep you safe I might be but I really like to be the doted one, so do your part P'Phayu. Oh, and I also wanted to ask you of something. Actually two things?" Phayu broke the hug and said "okay, and what are those?" Rain gave him one of his million watt smile and replied "firstly, can we please have some fun. Uhmm, bed fun. Seeing that you are healed now. And my father wanted to meet you. I still have a week left for new semester to start so if you don't mind, would you like to travel to Korea with me?"
Phayu said "oh, you could have just said that I have pervert and horny boyfriend as my good boy and I would have got the hint. About travelling to Korea, sure let me tell my parents and we can leave tomorrow. You don't worry about tickets and all." Rain smiled and nodded.
And so, they had a very long day and a very productive night.
Next morning around 11o'clock, Phayu gathered rain in his arms to wake him up and said "dear good boy, wake up and have a shower or we will be late in catching the flight to meet our father." Rain jolted awake at that and shouted at his phi while running around to gather himself "phi, you should have gone slow on me yesterday. Afterall its not so often that we do it and I am not accustomed. I haven't even packed my bags as of now. What should I do? Phi you should have woken me up earlier." Phayu clutched him from his shoulder and said "Rain, baby take a deep breathe. It was you who told me to go 'harder, faster, deeper' yesterday night. I was only obeying you. And i have packed your bags. Your clothes are in the bathroom already so go take a shower. It's alright. Everything's under control. You do as I say and then we will be at your home n no time."
Rain agreed and nodded as he marched to the bathroom. They were ready in record time with breakfast done and luggage loaded in a car outside. They left the airport with best wishes from Phayu's entire family on his phone.
Rain slept throughout the journey but after they landed, he began to have jitters. A man had come to receive them on the airport and by the looks of it Rain judged that his phi knew the man, probably from the mafia or something.
The man bowed, while his driver took care of the luggage, and said "Khun Venice, welcome to South Korea. Khun Vegas hadn't revealed the reason of your visit so we are not very sure how to move forward." P'Phayu replied "Mr. Lee. Thank you for awaiting us. We are here to meet the father of my boyfriend so you can most likely take a leave after dropping us at his home. If anything I would call for you pronto." The man nodded and moved ahead to open the door for them.
Rain had grown up in luxury and bathed in money all his life, but this was something new. His phi behaved differently and had an aura he normally didn't have. This made him want to behave and have good impression in front of his phi's subordinates. They were not just the employees of the garage but maybe connected to mafia and probably have enough resources to hurt his father. He couldn't let that happen. So, he sat upright, like a gentleman, and behaved nicely. This amused Phayu to no end as he could see how hard Rain was clutching his fingers in order to control himself from snuggling into the older. But he didn't do anything as he wanted Rain to be as he wished.
They reached the place after Rain recited his address and he led them upstairs. The driver and the man had come up to drop the luggage and went soon after. Rain didn't notice but they went back when Phayu signalled them that he had everything in control. The door opened and a lady hugged Rain. She exclaimed "Rainy boy. You are back. I missed you so much and your father hasn't been home as often so I was bored out of wits. Oh these ladies and there gossips, I swear." And then she noticed another man standing there with a lot of luggage and tilting her head she asked "yes, how may I help you?"
Rain immediately got out of her clutches and held onto the firm biceps of his phi, ignoring the raised eyebrows of the lady when she noticed this, he said "eomma, he is P'Phayu and he is my boyfriend. Appa asked us to come meet him here, so here we are." While Phayu wai'ed, the lady let the sentence settle in her and then smilingly said "hello my name is Park Youn Soo and I am Rain's step mother. Please come inside." She called for a housemaid who smiled seeing Rain back at home and conversed with him for a few minutes while gathering all the bags and leading them to his room.
Phayu was as lost as a newborn deer. He took out his phone and texted in family group "why had nobody ever forced me to study Korean, even after knowing that we have business here and I might need it? I am so lost at the moment because of you guys." What he got in return was only many laughing emojis and a reply from his papa 'we tried many times but you always said one language is hard enough for you to learn and so you won't learn another.' He swore he hated them at the moment.
He raised his head when he heard a cough coming from his side and immediately went terse seeing the lady was Rain's mother. She smiled at him and expressed through her hands if he could join her in the kitchen. He nodded and followed her. She motioned towards the coffee machine and tea kettle to which he went to the coffee machine. She nodded and brought out some milk, sugar and cream, if he needed them. As it happened, both of them liked their coffee black and sugarless.
She wanted to have a conversation with him but couldn't so he tried to go for English. She asked "so you like my boy?" Phayu could only nod. She then asked "what do you know about him?" He replied "that he is a sweet boy who loves with his whole heart and I want to keep him safe and happy forever." This time she nodded. they could have an entire game out of nods just for themselves.
She said "his father will come back late tonight. You can rest or go talk to him." He thanked her, wai'ed and left in search of his love. As soon as he found him in their room, he hugged the younger and whined "Rain, you can't leave me anywhere here because you know I don't know the language. What if I get lost huh?" Rain laughed and replied "then call one of your guys to rescue you. I am sure they wouldn't let anything happen to their Khun. But on a lighter note, where do you even go? I didn't leave you anywhere as far as I remember."
A lady laugh disturbed them and made him tense all over. They both looked at the househelp who said in Korean to rain "I will take my leave now that you have your boyfriend here. Take care of him ad don't let him get lost. I know I can't trust you in that but since he is new to the country I will have to. Come down for lunch on time. I will prepare your favourites." He smiled and thanked her.
Turning to his phi again he said "she said to go down for lunch on time. So, what were you saying?' P'Phayu said "your mother took me out for a coffee so sneakily I was convinced that she is from a mafia family too. Well, she said that your father would come late." Rain smiled. They then lounged on bed while discussing what they might be doing for the next few days they are here for.
At lunch everyone gathered and Phayu saw a new side of Rain, so smiley and talkative, wiggly and munching on his food. His chopsticks moved along with his mouth, both never stopping as he constantly was in a talk with one or the other person. Phayu enjoyed the lunch but he enjoyed watching his love more. He is also sure that people must have told about his expressions to Rain which he diluted with his laugh. That was truly nice to see and hear.
They had only explored a nearby convenience store before dinner time. At dinner, miraculously, Rain's father was home. Everyone looked tense during the dinner while having a mild conversation. After dinner, everyone moved to the lounge with a glass of whiskey with the father and Phayu while the lady and Rain had a stem of wine.
The father said "I have heard so much about you Phayu, but Rain didn't tell me what does your family do?" Phayu replied "The eldest in my family is my uncle and he is a fashion designer. His husband is an actor. Then comes my second uncle. He is a Chairman of a chain of business while his husband runs a garage alongside my father. They have three kids. The eldest is now running the company and his name is Prapai. Our twins youngers are now in college. They are a year ahead of Rain. then my parents. My father owns a garage which now my twin brother runs, and I help sometimes. My papa though runs a security company. Then comes my youngest uncle who is a singer and his husband is a composer. They work together. Then my hia, he works in papa's company as the head of cyber security. And his husband is an author. In our generation we have Prapai, me, my younger twin brother and twin siblings younger than us. My twin has a boyfriend who works for our father. And then I am the next to have a boyfriend, with your permission of course."
The father was astonished after listening to all that, then exclaimed "oh you are Prapai's brother. You should have started with that. He is a remarkable and acknowledged young businessman. Well, that summarises you belong to a very nice and wealthy family. Now, Rain is a single child and so his every wish has been fulfilled since forever. Would you be able to do so too, without asking for money from your family?" Phayu smiled and said "yes, I can. And well, my family is eager to meet him as well. As everyone has only been told about him and nobody has met him except my twin and elder brother. And his wish is my command too." Rain blushed at the conversation and looked proud.
His father asked "you are aware that you are Rain's first relationship right? And if you hurt him I will hurt you real bad?" Rain wanted to shout with all his lung capacity that his boyfriend was literally mafia and had killed a man for slapping him just before they came here, but kept quiet. Phayu smiled and nodded. His father nodded too and said "okay, we will retire for the night now. You boys can do whatever you wish. Remember, the house isn't soundproof and I don't like to be disturbed."
Rain blushed harder at the implication while Phayu nodded at the threat. Everyone went to sleep then.
Next few days were very enjoyable. Rain took Phayu out to show him his favourite places and meet his friends. They basked in each other's vicinity. Rain was unaware but Phayu could track that one of the bodyguards was always following them to keep them safe, but he kept his mouth shut. He had grown up like that after all and his love would grow accustomed or maybe just ignore, like he was acting right now.
When they came back to their home in Bangkok, Phayu found the home a bit out of axis. He asked Rain to go keep the luggage in the room while he went looking around. Then he called Saifah and said "how is it possible that our home was looted in my absence only your things went missing?" Saifah laughed real hard at that and said "my things are not missing because a robber visited us but because I have shifted. I now live with P'Chai. I no more have to be celibate or listen to you guys . I am safe and enjoying my time. You also the house." Phayu smiled wide and thanked his brother for his thinking and generosity.
Having the home to themselves was a great incentive, at all times.
