Toni wasn't sure what had prompted the trip into the forest. Well, no, that was a lie. She knew exactly what had prompted the trip; it was supposed to be a romantic trip for two that she'd planned as a surprise for their anniversary that had ended up being a flight from Dolomus after the latest break up with Daligar; her final break up with Daligar. No more of the on-again-off-again. This was it, for real this time. Toni promised herself she wouldn't take him back, no matter how much he begged. This trip was her escape ticket; removing his access to her while he packed up his belongings from their shared apartment and left her behind. He'd had no idea she'd even planned the trip for the two of them, and for that she was thankful.
