It was dawn before she reached the village, and the pink light of the thin autumn sun, was just starting to paint itself along the treeline of the horizon, as she, and half a dozen of her best aurors, rushed through the still deserted streets, towards where she knew the Potter’s cottage to be. The simple fact that the information was in her head, was proof that something had gone disastrously wrong, and the confusion and panic that had followed the events of the night, meant that it had taken her hours, rather than minutes to gather up the resources necessary to get here. She was casting as many detection spells as she knew, as they continued through the village, and when her wand, pulsed in her hand in the middle of the village square, she stopped dead in her tracks.
This is a rework of one of my older works titled 'By the Light of the Dark'. I have developed as a writer in the last few years, and the reason I have struggled so much to continue that fic is because my style has changed a lot since I started it. This is a remix of that fic, in that a lot of the plot points will be similar, but how we get there will be a different journey. Hopefully one with a little more cohesion and a lot less jumping around.

Unbeknownst to Nine and the Restoration, villains both new and old are poised to pounce on an unsuspecting world... and Nine might just be the key to stopping them.

This is a rewrite of How Eddie Stops The Lawsuit. This time I have gone by actual LAFD policies and procedures rather than the 9-1-1 universe version of the LAFD. I wasn't going to write this but decided it would be interesting to see how different it would be if Buck had followed the actual route the actual LAFD have in place for concerns like his without it leading to the lawsuit. The end goal doesn't change. Buck still gets back to work, he and Eddie still leave the 118 and they still end up married
