“Nonsense. I would follow you anywhere, William,” Michael says gently. William is sure his cheeks turn even pinker than they already were at that comment. “Please, allow me to accompany you on this journey.”
William hesitates, unsure what to say.
“Who knows, it could be fun?” Michael brings his right hand to William’s face, gently dragging a knuckle over his cheekbones as if he were a precious jewel, the other gripping the fabric of his aubergine cloak. “What do you say?”As Prince of the kingdom of Irivveah, William loves his nation dearly. But when he begins to receive ghastly visions of the future paired with ill health, he realises something troubling is afoot.
Accompanied by his loyal knight, Sir Michael, he sets off on a treacherous journey in search of answers. With rumours of plague and bodies drained of blood on the horizon, their journey will not be a simple one.

This is a real D&D campaign, that was started in 2022 with 3 players, and still continues at time of writing. We have been recording our sessions, and this work is an adapted version of those recordings, using the AI generated transcripts of each session as a starting point, which means a lot of the lines are actually stuff we said in the moment.

The two biggest companies, Pharmbryo and Universal Appliance, have announced a merger. This will be the largest portion of territory owned by a single entity in the entire history of the Terran Conglomerate. Nations across the galaxy are hesitant to celebrate this news, but they can ultimately do nothing as The Free Market decides what is best.
Meanwhile, Edward Cole Rogers is a Terran highschooler who is struggling with the mounting expectations of his school and his family. As he struggles to find a balance, an otherworldly being watches him, intent to make him no longer a Terran and no longer a man.
