This story is about Misery and Lowe's marriage and dealing with the fallout of the different groups of Humans, Weres, and Vampyres being opposed to peace and unity between the three species. There are threats and acts of violence held against Misery and Lowe and the two of them are finding ways to navigate these threats while still bonding over their shared love for each other. Misery and Lowe are both learning ways to keep themselves and their loved ones safe from outside threats. But one day those threats become a real and immediate danger. Will they survive?
