Summary
I really like Moonwatcher as a character, but we don't see very much of her after book 6. Which is especially a shame, to me, because the period between the end of book 8 (when Darkstalker is freed) and the end of book 10 must have been pretty crazy for her, emotionally. So this story is essentially my idea of what she might have been thinking and feeling. Even though there is a lot of angst here, I want to mostly match the upbeat tone of the original series.

January 3rd: I have a writing addiction and started writing this story on the first of January and have already written 105k in words. Thank the lords for the winter holiday. Will try to update daily, but on the 5th of january work starts again so will only be able to write about 1 chapter a day and I am sort of anal about the whole 'Be at least 5 chapters' ahead. Luckily I've just finished writing chapter 21 so alls good for at least a week! :)

Through an old promise made by Sasuke’s and Itachi’s parents, the girls end up under their care, finally meeting the brothers. Hoping to find peace in Konoha, merely a year before the Uchiha massacre. Their lives once again take dark turns and this is just the beginning. Here we learn about a young jinchuriki, Izumi, the story’s main protagonist. We are to discover later, she’s going to play a significant part in Sasuke’s and Naruto’s lives.
