To get some things out of the way; No, this didn't happen in a campaign, and neither of these guys are PCs. You may notice me using some terms from VtM for Vampire stuff. That's entirely because I think the terminology is cool and stole it. You may also notice the technology level is implied to be a bit different than what's usually in Forgotten Realms. That's also done on purpose.
