Summary
Marina and Mako are twins from the People of the Springs- Mualani's tribe. One is a zealous overachiever and successful lifeguard, while the other is a reserved artist and diver who can barely get a sentence out of his mouth. It follows a consulting detective who does not believe in magic, a woman who refuses to be only a victim or a muse, and the Holmes family as they learn that protecting one small, stubborn heart may be the most complicated case they will ever take. (This does not follow the Enola Holmes or Sherlock Holmes stories but does reference them. In a very loose way is similar to ‘Cheating Men Must Die’ world hopping.)
