A desperate American man by the name of Melvin has lost all hope as he is forced to stay in a scrawny house that is seconds from falling apart. Melvin then meets an old friend who offers him a certain job, which held sneaking into an old, rich mansion that hid deep in the woods at the edge of the country. Rumours say that there is a big, rich family with a lot of valuable substances. Melvin goes out to investigate and meets the family, yet they at once treat him as a well-known guest. Melvin feels some sort of appreciation towards him, something he has not felt in years.
He resists on stealing their valuables and grows extremely attached to the family. Melvin feels the comfort in the mansion like never before.

The effects from her experience and injuries led to her losing her job, her home, and pretty much everything that gave her a will to live.
But she’s still… showering and brushing her teeth and *trying* to get a good sleep schedule going, even in a technically abandoned floor of the local hospital, so maybe she’s not checking out just yet? Right?
Work title was inspired by Dr. Joy Kwon’s comment to Dr. Dennis Whitaker about him being the “Phantom of the Pitt.”
