New York City in 1899... The turn of the century is almost here and the city is vibrating with anticipation. The young aristocrat Slaine Troyard von Saazbaum has just arrived from Hamburg to start a new life in United States of America, for his father Saazbaum has begun building a third oil well in California. While his adoptive father is away on a business trip to said oil well, Slaine befriends a friendly carptenter who works at a construction site of a neighbouring house in Gramercy; Calm Craftman. The young carpenter Calm offers to show the adventurous but naive Slaine around Lower Manhattan, but little does Slaine know that the carpenter is not a mere carpenter, but a member of the Orange Street Gang from the old Five Points area - the most crime ridden meltingpot on the entire east coast.
Slaine ends up standing face to face with the gang's leader - Inaho - who first appears to be cold and dismissive, but the more Slaine pesters him about adventures in Lower Manhattan the more soft hearted he turns out to be.

Hyunjin zones out listening to Seungmin rambling on about Hyunjin's mental health as he looks across the room. Hyunjin has completely stopped in his tracks when he sees the barista. A boy around his age stands behind the counter, shoulder length blond hair hangs loose, oversized jumper tied tightly around his small waist by an apron, his baggy jeans, freckled face and big brown doe eyes staring right back at him. Hyunjin quickly averts his gaze back to Seungmin, a slight flush making to tops of his ears burn.
'Hyunjin? Are you even listening to me? I said Mingi and Yunho are here.' Seungmin prods his shoulder.
Hyunjin looks up again and sees Mingi and Yunho being fervently kissed on the cheeks by Wooyoung. He glances over to the barista again and sees him dropping something on the ground. Hyunjin looks from his feet to his eyes again and flashes him, what he hopes, is a dazzling smile when the barista stands back up and locks eyes, the barista's neck turning slightly red.
