But still, the deletion happens, and the players are left in a broken circus now filled with voices echoing all of their regrets.

“Kuibin, stop,” Quanrui breathed, his back pressed against the cold brick of the alleyway. The smell of woodsmoke was thick in the air, but all he could focus on was the heat of Kuibin’s hand on his wrist. “What if someone walks by? What if they see us?”
Kuibin didn't pull away. He only leaned closer, his voice a rough whisper against Quanrui's ear. “Let them look.”
Thirty years later, Shen Quanrui is a man who was never seen. He followed the rules, took the arranged marriage, and built a life out of silence and proper Mandarin. He thought he had successfully buried the boy who stood in that alleyway.
But when a single phrase at the dinner table—“Eat before it gets cold”—shatters his mask, the sterile air of his modern apartment feels too thin. Summary
Katara and Zuko's paths diverged following their victory over the Fire Lord, but they never lost touch.
Though Katara went on to marry Aang and Zuko went on to become Fire Lord, neither of them ever gave up on the other, not fully. Only once they were old were they able to reconnect, finding solace in one another and re-lighting a spark that had flown many, many years before.
We follow the pair through the years since their victory through their letters to one another as they reminisce over times gone by.
