Jax had seemed off when they all got back to the circus, Kinger noticed. He had an oblivious stare, almost like he was dead to the world. Kind of like a robot, or a marionette being controlled by a puppeteer. He had gone to hide in a dark corner in the character room hallway of the circus, somewhere where Kinger would have enough awareness to comfort him. Caine had seemingly turned off the lights. He hadn’t checked in on Jax in a while!

The issue is that Pomni actually...likes her character model. And she always hated how she looked in the real-world. Despite asking Caine, he can't make it so her character doesn't change. The only way to not get the full update is to not fall asleep, but there are risks. Without the proper updates, she is now at risk of getting the Digital Virus, but can she hide this from the others?
