Caine gives her a pitying look. “I’m sorry, Pomni, but you just have to let these things run their course.”
No. She cannot handle this anymore. She implores him further, “Caine, please. You’re, like, basically a god in a way, right? There’s gotta be something you can do! Please!” She’s begging him at this point.
Caine thinks for a moment. Then, he perks up and says, “Oh! Yes, I believe there IS something!”
Pomni perks up, too. “Yes? What is it?”
“It’s a sort of deep cleaning, if you will,” Caine says. “Think of it like dumping bleach all over your code!”
When Pomni's sinus infection starts to drive her mad, she goes to the extreme to be free from the sickness. Even if the solution is a bit...dangerous.
