Tintin didn't want it to be like this. Even if he'd spent a lifetime like this, this shouldn't be how it ended. He just wanted to figure out what was going on in another abandoned building, but it seemed he'd underestimated his strength from what he saw down there and couldn't escape. He should've expected something like this. And now he was relying on his friends to save him from his own usual instincts and mistakes.
He couldn't feel more ashamed of himself if he even tried.

THIS IS A REWORKED VERSION OF "TEMPEST" - after some comments, I wanted to keep the soul of the story, but make it more scientifically plausible. While there are still probably some inaccuracies, I still hope this isn't as messy as before.

She opened the passenger door of Roy’s car which she left parked outside the entrance of Eastern HQ. Riza deposited his body in the seat ever so gently. Upon breaking contact Roy let out a stifled groan of protest. She stepped back and took a look at him, lying helplessly in the seat appearing to have as much autonomy over his body as a doll. He gave one uncharacteristic complaint before Riza bent down to buckle him in.
When she bent over him she could feel an uncomfortable humidity being emitted from his being.
He really was burning up.
She brought the back of her hand to his forehead one last time, only to confirm what she already knew. Riza couldn’t help but cringe when Roy tried to lean into her touch before she hurriedly pulled away. They were still right in front of Eastern HQ. At that she put herself into the driver’s seat and drove away.
