Dennis has never been a good liar, and Jack Abbot’s unrelenting stare might as well be a polygraph test.
“I’m currently between places,” he admits.
Abbot works his jaw, head tilting to the side as he continues to assess Dennis like he’s a patient in his ED.
“Do you own a car?” He asks, his voice sounding softer to Dennis but maybe it's just dampened by the sound of his own pulse in his ears.
“Not at the moment, no, I’m actually-”
“Between cars?” Abbot finishes for him.
Shame pushes Dennis’s head down. “Yeah, something like that.”
Abbot continues to stare at him -does this guy ever blink?- before he sighs and shakes his head.
"Alright, pack your shit," He orders, clearly having heard enough.

Obviously Ilya would love it if Shane opened up and talked to him about it but he figured if Shane wouldn’t talk to him maybe he could talk to someone else. Maybe a therapist, or his parents or Rose or… Hayden. As much as Ilya disliked the idea of Shane going to Hayden to talk about his problems instead of him, it was better than to keep it all inside.
Shane shrugged at the idea. “I don’t feel like I could talk to anyone about this…” His eyes were open now and glassy. He swallowed hard as he avoided looking at Ilya.

Color Tamtey shocked when she learns she and her fellow Sarentu have been asleep, forgotten by the RDA and by the Resistance, for sixteen years, and they have been aging the entire time. Not only does Tamtey have to learn to be Na'vi, she needs to learn how to live and fight as a thirty-four year old Na'vi woman with only eighteen years of life under her belt. Wonderful.
AU in which the Sarentu slept during their 16 years in cryo, but their bodies continued to age. The story follows my personal playthrough of AFOP and sticks as close to canon as possible, with a few creative liberties and headcanons thrown in. I do not own AFOP or its characters (sadness)

In this Apothecary Diary alternate universe, Jinshi and Maomao grew up differently. Maomao was raised (badly) by Lakan and Fengxian. Jinshi was raised knowing he is the son of The Emperor and Lady Ah-duo. Jinshi and Maomao met in Book One and threw the idea of a slow burn romance right out the window. Boinking like bunnies, now the two must figure out how to navigate their new relationship to make sure it lasts.
Maomao is starting over, trying to learn how to be the wife/consort of the Moon Prince as well as how to live her life without her father’s restrictions. Jinshi has it even tougher. He’s trying to learn how to support her and protect her from her most reckless adversary, herself.
With friends to assist them, foes to hinder them and family to do both, their biggest challenge is knowing which is which.

So, I've decided to rewrite my One Piece fic "Demon Zoro" just because I wanted to add more details into the story. I didn't feel it was as detailed as I wanted it to actually be only because each chapter is 10,000 words per chapter.
I've reduced my chapter to be between 4,000-6,000 words to make things easier to read and edit.
Summary: Zoro is actual demon instead of it just being a metaphor. Canon time-line, but not always canon events. Plus, I've added a lot of my own bits into the story. Story begins when Zoro meets Luffy for the first time. In the notes/summaries of each chapter, there will be a set of tags that will explain what the chapter is about.
