It’s been three years since the end of the war. Draco Malfoy has been awaiting trial ever since. Two years he was on house arrest, and the last year has been spent in Azkaban. His trial is finally here—the first of the Death Eater “children”. He expects to be made an example of. He expects life in Azkaban. He doesn’t expect to receive the Dementor’s kiss… and the subsequent reaction from one Hermione Granger. She invokes a Gallows Marriage, and he has no choice but to abide by the decision. It should be everything he’s ever wanted, but things aren’t as perfect on the outside as they seem. On top of navigating a new marriage neither of them was prepared for, they also have to deal with outside threats coming at them from both sides. People aren’t happy that Draco went free with no consequences and that Hermione was the one to do it.
