Summary
Dennis Whitaker can work the ER on caffeine, adrenaline, and pure spite. He can charm patients, antagonise coworkers, argue with anyone in authority, and keep moving long past the point any sane person would collapse.
Dr. Michael Robinavitch sees straight through him.
Chief attending, unflappable to nonsense, and far too perceptive for Dennis’s comfort, Robby becomes the one person who refuses to be distracted by Whitaker’s reckless competence and practiced chaos. What begins as curiosity sharpens into something far more dangerous: trust.
Between brutal shifts, bad decisions, late-night rescues, and the slow humiliation of being cared for exactly when he needs it most, Dennis finds himself drawn to the steady hands capable of containing him.
A story about power offered freely, tenderness disguised as discipline, and the unbearable vulnerability of being loved at your worst.

Summary
Trinity ran a handful of toilet paper underneath the sink and used the wet glob to wipe away her blood. She pulled out a bottle of hydrogen peroxide from beneath the sink and poured a small amount directly on the cuts and hissed at the sting of it. She wrapped gauze around her leg, and pulled her pants back on, and splashed her face with cold water.
Maybe if someone had only cared, even a little bit, they both could have been saved before it was too late.
Trinity snuck outside in the dead of night and shoved the rope beneath some trash bags in their apartment building’s dumpster.
She laid awake in bed, her head and her thigh throbbing angrily.
And she decided to become a doctor that very night.
OR
I genuinely put Santos through the ringer. She ends up as a patient in the very hospital she works at.

Summary
Michael Robinavitch had chosen his sabbatical because of a multitude of things.
But the main thing was that his past was coming back to haunt him.
His old life had returned after someone recognised him on TV when he did an interview about how his department had handled the Pittfest shooting. The Carter foundation and old friends had contacted him very soon after it.
Now he had to settle some outstanding things in Chicago with the foundation and remembered a film project that he had been part of when he was in John Carters shoes.
The documentary series that tracked his life for years, filmed in cameras set up throughout the hospital to help teach Medical Tv shows what to do, the extra scenes they had filmed for background at their homes.
He knew his past was a lot, but it might be helpful in teaching some people in the Pitt on some things.
He makes a group chat to educate them, to get them to learn more about themselves and what they want to do with their lives and future, but also to learn about who he is and why he became that way.
It took him a long time to become Robby but it might be beneficial for them to be introduced to John Carter

"I can take you home, Dennis." Robby smiled, his hand resting on Dennis' shoulder, his thumb brushing the other mans collarbone.
"I meant your home, Michael." Dennis muttered, eyes half-lidded, and looking at Robby like he might eat him if they stood still too long.

Call her old-fashioned, Samira just didn’t understand why men decided to become OBs. Weren’t there five hundred other specialities that didn’t include a cisgender man being there talking about something that they had no experience with?

Summary
Miss Samira Mohan is the Jewel of the Season.
Which would be a triumph if her brother were not dying.
While society celebrates her beauty, Samira is searching for a cure no respectable physician will offer. Whispers lead her to the Pitt, a place of dangerous ideas, questionable men, and outcomes no one dares promise.
To be seen there would destroy her.
To ignore it may destroy him.
And Samira is running out of time.
OR
The Pitt, reimagined in a Regency setting.

Summary
Patient hand-off is all about continuity of care. It's also when Samira Mohan and Jack Abbot find out they connect with each other in more ways then they could have imagined.
Follow Samira through residency as she navigates its challenges, its losses, and its victories, and considers what the future might look like if she continues on caring for a certain someone after she's completed her training.
A slow-burn story for the people who love a friends to lovers trope. Updates as often as I can, hopefully 1-2x week!

Summary
'Unbeknownst to Robby, however, he would not be leaving, and it was entirely due to that conversation. Because of that conversation, he was going to lose one of his doctors today.
He did not know this yet.
Nobody knew this yet.
They wouldn’t know until twenty minutes later, when Whitaker went to do that neuro check on the man in South 14.
AKA: What if instead of Emma who gets assaulted in Episode 11, it’s Whitaker, and then things go from bad to fucking catastrophic very, very quickly, because turns out Whitaker’s a very, very good liar, with a very, very large and very, very dangerous secret?
What if Robby’s guilt is strong enough to stop his doomed-ass sabbatical, due to the overwhelming responsibility he feels to 'atone for what he's done'?
What if Whitaker has a chronic condition and some really shitty history he never discussed with anyone, and Robby can't stop being a doctor, no matter how much he keeps trying?

Summary
Trinity knows it’s inevitable. She understand that this–this thing–can only coil so tightly before it snaps. And guess who’s ass is in the trap?
‘Santos. A word.’
Not a question. Not even a suggestion, really. An order veiled as something softer, something less loaded. Garcia doesn’t even look at her; pert buns swaying slightly as she and her perfect posture lead Trinity to the stairwell. How is she still standing like that–after, what, nine hours? Trinity aches. She has blisters from her shitty tennis shoes that Huckleberry insisted she buy–her ratty old gym shoes were fine, by the way–and an omnipresent thudding behind her eyes and the inability to keep her shoulders rolled anywhere but forward. Garcia spins on her heel; her shoes are pristine, white and stitched with fine thread. Trinity wants to die, just a little.
‘You’ve been avoiding me.’
There it is. Trap, meet ass. She’s been told she has a nice one, so hopefully that counts for something.

Summary
Dennis never went to medical school. Instead he went to seminary school, all to please his devout Catholic family. After catching a powerful superior in a compromising position, Dennis is excommunicated from the church. They were afraid he would make too much noise and compromise several high-ranking clergymen. Short on faith and funds, he falls into a life of drugs and hook ups to cope.
Eventually he finds himself in a loveless relationship with a man who promised to heal him, but only wound up hurting him instead. A man who buys tickets to PittFest 2025 as an apology for his shitty behavior. Cue the bullet that changes everything. With his life on the line, Dennis gets an ambulance ride to none other than the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. Where he is treated by Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch. Are things looking up or is he just delirious from blood loss?
Or, the one where Dr. Robby confesses his sins to an unconscious priest who is not all that unconscious and very much no longer a priest.
