Summary
It does not escape Robby that Jack is looking at him the way he looked at Milo’s clammy wrist. Measuring, unflinching, certain of what he’ll find. He tells himself that it isn’t personal. That it’s the look of someone who’s seen this ending before and wants to rewrite the third act.
Knowing all of that does not make it feel any less like a Y-incision.

The distance between Patsy’s Diner and Jack Abbott’s apartment is six blocks. Chiara Ferraro walks it so many times it stops feeling like a choice.
She wasn’t looking for this. Neither was he. That’s not really how it works.Link to the Pinterest board that relates to the fic: https://pin.it/2IjelrtUC

Summary
Night shifts in the Pitt had a way of stripping someone down to their core. It tested your patience, your skill—when the witching hour hits and you're facing MVCs and GSWs while exhaustion weighs down on your bones, finding the drive to keep pushing through sometimes feels utterly impossible.
Throw in fourth-year residency, egotistical residents, and the ever-blurring line of personal and professional between a certain night shift attending, and surviving the shift stops being the most difficult part of your job.
or: jack abbot loses a bet and it starts something neither of you meant to begin.

Mel asks Frank to be her maid of honor when she decides to get married to a stranger... and Frank is completely devastated.
At first.
Then he decides to be the best maid of honor that could ever exist, and his final goal is the real killer:
Stealing the bride.
An obvious retelling of the Patrick Dempsey movie.

Dennis Whitaker, in his last year of seminary, is delighted to be assigned to a rectory in Pittsburgh, and to the hospital chaplaincy that comes along with it. Finally, he's out into the world, where he can be of real use.
Slightly less welcome is Doctor Robinavitch, the senior attending of the ER, who seems to resent Whitaker's presence to the point of deliberate avoidance, even though the man is coming apart at the seams and could clearly use a friendly ear. Still, Whitaker is certain he'll find a way to make the most of the last twelve months before he's ordained.
It's just that lately he's started to have the strangest dreams.

"Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." ~ Isaiah 53:4-5

Summary
One month after the shooting, Robby is back on his feet... at least physically. Emotionally, everything feels wrong.
Recovery for Robby brings back old insecurities and brings new ones. His decision of staying in the hospital instead of going home left Dennis feeling unwanted and useless. Between PTSD, pressure at work, financial troubles, and the fear that he is only “borrowing” Robby’s life and future brings for the young intern a new wave of stress, that no one realizes how much harm can be done until it turns dangerous.
With therapy on the table and their relationship far from what they expected to be, they are forced to ask some questions, not knowing with certainty the answer.

Summary
"Something was different, though.
Then he remembered. The anger he had felt two years ago, when Neem Abdi, [...] the unexpected Victor of the 73rd Games, [...] died on her way to be crowned. Five rioted, Four, Six, Seven and Two, followed suit to a lesser degree. [...] Didn’t the Capitol boast state of the art health care? Had they even tried to save her?
Then he remembered how quickly the rumors of Zachary’s suicide spread—like proper wildfire, before Fall. [...] His Victory tour was cancelled, and that was that. [...] not even Zachary's own family [...] dared demand answers.
Then he remembered.
Right.
That was what was missing."
Or: The Capitol turns the Districts’ most beloved symbols into instruments of televised horror to reassert control. As the 75th Games force former allies into impossible choices, a fractured resistance realizes that even if they may not all survive, they can make sure these Games are the last.

Summary
God, he’s done for.
That smile which he met just under ten hours ago, stood right infront of him. He’s dawning a blue zip up, cargo pants.
Those hands that pinned him down just eight hours ago hung onto either side of his stethoscope that was slung around his neck.
The lips that nibbled on the inside of his thigh, upturned, in the same smile that greeted him across the smoky bar.
“Fuck.” Dennis had to force down the bile. He mumbles under his breath, enough to catch a sly eye from Trinity.
“Hello. I’m Dr. Michael Robinavitch. I’m the new chief attending.”
Great.

Summary
Patient hand-off is all about continuity of care. It's also when Samira Mohan and Jack Abbot find out they connect with each other in more ways then they could have imagined.
Follow Samira through residency as she navigates its challenges, its losses, and its victories, and considers what the future might look like if she continues on caring for a certain someone after she's completed her training.
A slow-burn story for the people who love a friends to lovers trope. Updates as often as I can, hopefully 1-2x week!

Surviving a devastating loss is hard enough, but having to prove your worth to a new, rigorous Battalion Chief makes it nearly impossible. Following Adamson's death, Jack Abbot arrives at Station 36 to restore order and appoint a new Captain. Michael Robinavicth is willing to do whatever it takes to keep his crew together, but before he can truly lead, Robby will have to learn that honoring his mentor doesn't mean dying like him.

Jack Abbott knows what it means to lose people. He’s lost pieces of himself, he’s lost a life he thought he’d come back to, and somehow he’s kept going anyway.
Samira Mohan is still trying to believe that what she does matters. She’s careful, she’s hopeful, and she hasn’t learned yet how much this job can take from you if you let it.
But the thing about love—the real kind, the kind that feels like it could save you—is that sometimes it still isn’t enough.
He follows her.
He almost gets her back.
And it still isn’t enough.-------------------------------------------------------------

Summary
Robby really hadn't meant for any of this to happen.
There was a bassline throbbing distant in the house, the buzz of a party on the floor below, and yet the room they were in was dark, quiet, private. The only light was the dim glow of a lava lamp on the dresser directly in front of where Robby was sitting, the purple wax erupting into oozing globs every time he glanced at it, and it illuminated two things: one, a giant tapestry of The White Album hung behind the dresser; two, the bobbing head of the man between Robby's legs.
