Dennis couldn't remember the last time he had been present in a space that wasn't cleaned of him. It might have had something to do with a more conservative upbringing, or the plethora of children inhabiting a house built for Christian magazines. White walls, white counters, white tile. If he'd stayed, he'd be wearing his white shirts, an outward manifestation of the clean body underneath.
Otherwise known as Dennis's religious trauma, leading to him living as a Beta. Finding an Omega is hard past a certain age. Too old and it gets dangerous but too young and it's creepy. Jack and Robby have all but given up finding an actual proper Omega to settle into their lives. They have eachother and that's not nothing. But- hookups just dont... fill the need.

Dennis Whitaker sees his Attending have a panic attack in Peds, his reaction changes the dynamics between Dr. Robby and himself forever. Neither is ready to admit their connection, causing awkward encounters and misunderstandings that are usually quickly resolved.
A chapter or two will be dedicated to Dr. Abbot and Dr. Mohan, and another will be dedicated to Trinity Santos and Ellis Parker, while Garcia still has her hands on Trinity in ways she wouldn’t realise without Ellis’ insensitive remarks.
In this fic Dennis will face many challenges as an omega male, a doctor and someone who in his past has been extremely involved with religion. Robby goes through more personal challenges both with Whitaker, as well as with his stepson Jake, while battling mental health crises in his life.
— The intersectional discrimination of gender and secondary gender will be talked about in later chapters. I will somehow explain the hierarchy in this fic, I’m just not sure how/to where yet.
