Oddly enough, Mike felt a stray tear roll down his cheek. He wiped it away before it could go further.
“Sir. Sir!”
Mike was drawn to attention by a slightly annoyed teen standing at the counter. Upon making eye contact, the teens face faltered.
“Sir I’m... going to need you to leave.”

Summary
The world has forgotten Peter Parker.
After erasing himself from the memories of everyone who has ever known him, Peter begins to completely lose himself. Moving through the world like a shadow, he barely exists outside of Spiderman. He is entirely alone in the universe. And slowly, even Peter begins to forget himself from behind the mask.
Meanwhile, the Avengers are barely recovering after saving the universe from Thanos. Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff are barely surviving - saved only by a long year of intensive care and medical miracles.
When a new threat emerges that threatens to destroy everything the Avengers fought to save, the team has to defend Earth once more. And, with the web-slinger Spiderman always showing up at the scene of the crime, the best course of action is to join forces.
But the masked vigilante is very secretive about his identity and past, and something about him is eerily familiar.

He took his backpack off and unzipped it, quickly finding the small dragon stuffie inside. "Daddy said you would protect me so you have to protect me, Mr. Draco!" He told the toy hero. He zipped it closed again and shook against the wall. A new rustling shook some bags on top of the dumpster across the alley and Izuku looked up to find another rat. He growled at it, the sound startling in the calm of the night. The rat scurried off further into the pile, but Izuku could still hear it. He could hear a lot of things. Things he shouldn't.
He focused on the sounds, the smells. The feeling of hunger. His fingers curled beneath him, his nails growing into sharp, black points. His back hunched outwards, aches turning to fire as his skin ripped and his clothes shredded into tattered pieces. Izuku screamed as his teeth fell out and his gums bore new, sharper fangs in their place. His screams turned to roars as his skin prickled and caught on cloth before everything ceased to exist.

There are not many things in this world that could stop Jeon Jungkook, and many have tried, Jungkook just always bounces back. At this point that is probably one of the principles of physics. Throw him into fear and he tames it, give him a chronic illness and he learns its moods, give him pain and he bites down on it. Give him something wild enough to break other people and Jungkook will, out of spite if nothing else, make a pet of it.
But these days the physics are failing, quite literally, and not even Jungkook can fight the physics that are dropping a ceiling on his head and burying the only thing he didnt have to bounce off because he liked to bury himself into it, underneath it. Throw Jungkook at almost anything, and he comes back meaner but throw him at this and he finally comes back ruined because this is the first thing he cannot learn or tame, because death no longer belongs to this world.
So yes, there are not many things in this world that could stop Jeon Jungkook, but there is one thing that can make him want to stop himself, the first thing strong enough to make him like others, no longer invincible.
And no, it's not death, it's actually love. Or perhaps two in one, that's the catch -
